  1. The opening segment just reeked of typical WWE almost-self awareness though. They knew HHH would get cheered in Philly so their master plan to get Roman cheered this week was to have him be the one babyface who doesn't allow Steph to emasculate them. WM is still a mess. There's no need for two multi person matches, Steen-Zayn would have been a stellar match using their NXT history as a build, but goddamn we have to have a multi person ladder match every year now. Props to Zack for getting a spot on the card, but he's the most obvious replacement guy on a WWE PPV since Bobby Heenan filled in at Survivor Series after Tully got fired. Also very interesting to see Taker-Shane get hyped as the main event during the show, but the local cable company commercial for the PPV was all about the title match. Wonder if that means Vince is losing faith finally in Roman, or just wants his program to get the top billing.
  2. Wasn't the amount of cocaine found in Gino's system several times higher than even the biggest addict would consume at one time? That combined with him possibly pissing off people capable of putting a hit on someone seemed to be the rationale behind the foul play story. Plus there's probably folks connected to WCCW at the time who still believe David died of ruptured intestines from being kicked in a match that was scheduled a day or two after his death so anyone from that era should be taken with a grain of salt.
  3. That's not the message I took from that. The message I took was that they didn't expect anyone to know about AJ at all because he spent so much time in TNA, and that was incorrect on their part.
  4. Dave mentioned that WWE didn't expect most of their fanbase to know who AJ was, and him getting huge reactions made them realize their fans know TNA guys. That comment was in response to being asked if Bobby Roode and Eric Young asked to be released to sign WWE and/or NXT deals.
  5. The award was that high since the jury basically wanted to give Gawker the biggest fuck you possible. Considering the laws in Florida require Gawker to put up around $50 million to appeal, this may be it for them either way.

    WrestleMania 32

This really can't be undersold. I see a lot of newer fans who honestly believe current WWE is the WORST SHOW EVER and have no idea (luckily for them) what it was like watching the dying days of WCW. I might get mad at WWE's stubbornness, but Russo booked WCW shows usually left me feeling like I just gave myself brain damage by watching it.
  7. Joan Lunden, she actually appeared on Raw during her battle with cancer.
  8. The last two days have been another ECW TV mega dump. What I find weird is how there's like a four year gap from 2006-2010 where there's no episodes of Raw at all. I went to go re-watch the build to WM and the Ric Flair retirement show, and imagine my surprise when there is none available.

    WrestleMania 32

Well technically Taker submitted him, even if it was the pass-out variety.

    NXT talk

The end was great too when Regal came out to announce the women's title match. Asuka had a grin looking like a great white shark with a bucket of fresh meat, and Bayley looking like she was just sentenced to death.
  11. Have to give Jericho credit for still finding a way out of the match despite being pissed off. Trying to remember the last time I saw a match end in a shoot DQ.
  12. Robinson didn't appear to know that A: Neville was legit hurt and B: Jericho was trying to call an audible to end things quickly. You could clearly hear Jericho say something like "I fucking told you he was hurt" and Robinson saying "don't fucking touch me".
  13. There's still a significant portion of the US that doesn't have fast enough internet to subscribe to a streaming service like the network and their only outlet would be PPV no matter how much WWE calls them idiots for doing so. Also Dave confirmed on the WO show today that Neville broke his shin and ankle like RVD did on the same spot years ago, so that sucks.

    "Political Hit"

The thing about JR is that a lot of his anti internet stuff is kind of a work considering he's been tight with Dave forever and was probably one of his inside sources.

    WWE Roadblock

Dave mentioned that Roman isn't healing from his nasal surgery as quickly as expected.

    WWE Roadblock

That's why I don't go to parties. No one wants to hear about failing babyfaces deflating crowds.

    WWE Roadblock

I really hate when the person who's obviously not winning dedicates the match to someone important.

Big Cass rockin' that main roster tan.

    WWE Roadblock

Jericho bringing back the "best in the world at what I do" is only going to encourage more CM Punk chants.

    WWE Roadblock

Holy shit, i thought Kofi broke his neck in that match.

    "Political Hit"

I'd be willing to bet that Vince sees the success Brock had as proving his point though, since that's likely the only time he paid attention to UFC.
  22. Jericho's a million times better as a heel, and while there's nothing inherently wrong with their program, I wonder how beating the guy who only comes back to lose to other people is going to build up AJ.

    "Political Hit"

Shane and Ted arriving to the arena on a tank.
  24. Joey Styles said everything they had was going up, so I would imagine they will just fill the gaps on the years already added.
  25. To be fair, they tend to create advertising way in advance so there's been numerous times someone was advertised with a belt they haven't won yet/without a belt they haven't lost.
