I remember watching clips from after Tyson's surgery and wondering why Big E was just apparently randomly chilling at their house. It all makes sense now.

Clarity in his writing has never been Dave's strong suit. It does seem like he's been making a more concerted effort to protect his sources. I get the feeling from how he talks on the WO shows that he may have inadvertently burnt one of his sources and is trying to make sure that doesn't happen in the future.

Short version for the non US members of the site, Martin Shkreli is a trust fund dudebro turned Pharmacy executive who made news for jacking up the price of life saving medications by 1000% or more just because he can. Also for being the winning bidder for the only pressed copy of a Wu-Tang Clan album. I mean, just look at the guy in the video seen here: http://gawker.com/martin-shkreli-invokes-his-fifth-amendment-right-not-to-1757080115 His smugness, the perpetual smirk on his extremely punchable face, he's every bad guy in an 80s teen movie come to life grown up to be a CEO. He's out-heeling anyone in the business today.

The console apps (PS3/PS4/360/xbox one) usually update within a week or so when a new category is added like the Collections section.

Taker in 1991 was way, way better than Braun Strowman.
-
Also doesn't winning the title and not defending it until the big show where everyone expects him to lose it back make HHH the 2016 version of Ron Garvin?
-
The main reason I could see Taker not wanting to do a match with Strowman is that, yes he's had programs with big lugs before, he's 50 years old and way more broken down than he was when he was facing guys like Mabel in 1995. I wouldn't be surprised if he wants someone who can hold up their end of the deal a little more at this stage of his career. Plus is Braun f'n Strowman. I know Vince has his big guy boner in full effect but even he gives up on big guys when they are as bad as Brauny is. I don't see this as a match that would launch him to super stardom.

Bryan said on WOL that Vince wants to do Taker/Strowman but he (Bryan) is holding out hope it won't happen since Taker's one of the few who can say no.

Of all the rumors/gossip/whatever about Steph, I've never heard even the slightest suggestion of doubt about the kids parentage. Maybe Kanye West should let Marty know bringing someone's kids into a Twitter beef won't end well. Also the last time I saw Marty, his ankles were so bad they were almost at 90 degree angles. There's probably a very good chance he was out of his gourd on pain pills and misheard what was said.

it really is a shame Miz figured out how to be a great heel long after he was pegged as a comedy geek. Also JBL is officially way more irritating to me than heel Michael Cole ever was.

Back to LU, I like how just when it seemed they were ignoring Vampiro's mental issues after the opening segment he went into the "Bubba Ray after powerbombing someone through a table" trance when Pentagon showed up. I guess they're going to do a split personality deal with Happy Announcer Ian and Dark Master Vampiro.

Sting was due to thinking a 55+ year old guy should take a buckle bomb, Kidd was from a freak accident on a move that was done a million times before without incident, Bryan was from Sheamus being a stiff piece of shit, Barrett's is a mystery, and Nikki is convinced hers is from the move she uses. So I think it's a combination of bad luck combined with an obvious problem with their training program with all the rest of the guys having shoulder tears.

Dave's been implying on the board that Rusev doesn't run his own Twitter, and it may even be Lana doing it.

The Rollins-Kane feud was the best thing Kane was involved in since about 1999 or so, Smiling Corporate Kane was great.

Ziggler, who Amy Schumer once discussed the sexual prowess of when they were dating, yes. Pair her with a guy who'll try to get in her pants while having her dress like a Debbie Gibson fever dream on TV.

See, this is why it's bad that WWE has shitty announcers on their flagship show. Viewers are just supposed to assume things that may or may not be part of the story they are trying to tell because no one is explaining to the audience what the hell's going on. No one expects JBL and Cole to suddenly become Gordon Solie or JR, but it would take almost zero effort to mention what dextar said in his post and suddenly the main storyline of the company makes more sense. Maybe people even start getting behind Roman because the boss is out for revenge. Instead we got "TRIPPA ATCH IS THA BEST MAGGLE".

My only hope for WM at this point is that AJ actually has either a singles or tag match rather than being in some kind of IC title ladder match clusterfuck.

Two things come to mind, one being is that it has been mentioned at various points in time that Vince/WWE has a weird thing about guys dating above the station the company slotted them at. Like a midcard or job guy shouldn't be dating a top level diva. Secondly, everyone seems to forget the brief time Lana was being groomed to be the top woman in the company when Rusev was getting his initial monster push. Dave was reporting that all of a sudden those plans were off and that Vince had cooled on her. It seems like a case where if you take all the information that has popped up and mix that with the history Vince/WWE has, it's easy to see how people connect the dots. Is it fair to assume that Vince had some diabolical plot to break them up? Probably not. Is it fair to assume Vince maybe tried to boink the hot blonde like he's probably done many times before and reacted like the jilted and petty preteen he tends to be in those situations? Maybe that's not fair either, but Occam's Razor would seem to suggest that's the most likely scenario.

Would Flair have done that if he was managing a guy in a men's match? Of course not. He does it here because in his mind (and probably in real life) no woman can resist the power of Space Mountain so it would clearly leave Becky too distracted to fight on. The fact that Flair is pushing 70 and has had so much plastic surgery done his face looks like a bad halloween mask of Ric Flair, and is still pushed as a ladies man makes it even more creepy. It's like how Hugh Hefner went from being every man's dream of living in a mansion of hot babes to being the creepy old man who'd get the cops called on him if he wasn't rich.

I don't want to steal Grimmas' gimmick here, but it never fails to amuse me how some folks get mad, like really really illogically mad, when anyone suggests women be treated like people.
-
Yeah, that whole "women are human beings and it's not being a PC pansy to treat them like one" sure has caught on of late. Of course it shouldn't be surprising pro wrestling would be late to that party since it seems WWE is at least 20 years behind the curve on social issues.
-
Afa (or maybe Sika would make more sense story wise) as a Samoan Don Corleone would be tremendous.
-
Knowing the long history the company has for petty behavior, why would it be seen as jumping to conclusions to think anything else but the obvious when a woman that rubbed them the wrong way has a promo cut on her calling her a slut? if it was literally any other company in the world I could see giving them the benefit of the doubt, but history has shown if you assume the worst with anything involving WWE and women you're going to almost always be correct. Also bonus points for them airing a Be A Star video later in the show where the focus was boosting kids' self esteem.

Normally Rock would see a woman, make a sex joke or two, and that would be the end of it. This started like that and devolved into Rock going on and on about the time they had sex until the point it was like those Walking Dead memes of Coral and his dad. REMEMBER THAT TIME WE HAD SEX, LANA? (moves closer) WE HAD SEX, LANA.
