I like how they've established the only way to stop Brock is to punch him in the balls.
-
Can WM this year just be four hours of Brock killing dudes? It would be better than anything they have planned so far.
-
Saxton out there looking like white folks' first round pick in Dave Chappelle's racial draft.
-
The rare hardway blood in a Diva match thanks to Charlotte's nose there. Also Ric marking out at ringside will never not be great.
-
Wyatt interference leading to a Reigns win in the main event is pretty nonsensical considering Bray's motivation for months has been "anyone but Roman".
-
Looks like Ryback hurt another guy, wonder if he has Luke Harper action figures to make another mocking social media post.
-
Vince must be furiously masturbating during this six man....
-
Roman's improved a lot since the Shield days, and he's super charismatic when he's allowed to be himself, but their insistence on pushing him as Cena 2.0 when Cena 1.0 is still around and in the "winding down so I'm going to have great matches with midcard guys" phase of life is killing him.
-
The thing about this show is that the last few weeks of Raw seem to be pushing HHH-Brock or HHH-Dean, but Roman's the only one with a chance of winning tonight. No one but Vince really wants to see Roman-HHH main event Mania so I have a feeling everyone's going to be negative towards Fastlane no matter how good the show ends up being.

Is it a testament to Wahoo's greatness or everyone else's inability that I've never seen a good strap match that didn't include him.
-
Yeah, there's a good chance most of these guys won't be in it as HHH has expressed he's looking to get some guys from around the world and indies to participate in this. This isn't an NXT thing either, so they may keep Andrade off TV until this thing rolls around so they can push him in it. Conversely, having him win it then debut in NXT as the guy who won the tournament wouldn't be the worst way to start him off.

The ECW Hardcore TV episodes seem to be finishing up, and they are moving on to add the ECW on TNN episodes next. Confusingly, they're being thrown in the same bucket as the Hardcore TV shows and labeled "ECW Wrestling" but they're going up.

There's absolutely no way Vince would bring back Angle in a wrestling capacity.
-
it will never, ever happen, but imagine the pop if right when they were going to announce Taker's opponent the Titan Tron went to static and Cult of Personality hit. I kind of like the idea of it being Goldberg, but it seems to really piss off Vince when someone isn't a mark for Wrestlemania and actually wants paid.
-
Pretty sure at this point anyone with a pulse has got a phone call from WWE.
-
Speaking of hosses, anyone hear any word on how Mark Henry's doing? He went down like he got shot at the end of that match with Big E.
-
If it does happen, would that not be the hoss-iest of hoss matches ever put together?
-
Funny how the only time in the last two years Roman was anywhere close to the level WWE wants him is when Vince was out there showing ass for the guy. Once they go back to the Authority Always Wins and Steph browbeating everyone, he gets booed again.
-
I think it will be legit in the sense that Vince is very protective of his father's legacy and wouldn't do something like award it to himself. I think that's where Dave was coming from, if it was named after anyone else it would be fair game, but the fact that it's VJM named on it makes it a little different.
-
They really seem to think Ambrose turning on Reigns will totally result in people being sympathetic toward Roman after having his best friend betray him, instead of the more likely outcome of Dean getting the biggest pop of the night.
-
Didn't DDP's injury come from him trying to protect his opponent on a superplex that got fucked up and caused him to land wrong so the other guy's neck wouldn't get broken? Also I agree that every wrestler should take the test Bryan took, but I would gather there's probably a large percentage of guys who won't want to for fear of what the results would be and/or being told they have to retire. It's become a running gag that WWE keeps doing angles where they say the people they employ live in constant fear of getting fired since they'd be homeless without WWE, but the truth is a lot of wrestlers probably don't have a Plan B if their careers end suddenly.
-
That's completely insane. No matter how wrong you feel Titus was here, it barely warrants a suspension let alone a firing. Also I'd be extremely curious to find out who the people were who wanted him gone over such trivial bullshit.

Just finished watching this week's show, and that main even was pretty great for what was pretty much Bayley having a match with a practice dummy. I don't mean to completely dismiss Carmella since she has shown improvement, but I was amazed to see Bayley out there looking like mid 80s Ric Flair carrying that broomstick.

Breaking Ground is the best thing that ever happened to Barron Corbin. Once that show aired, a lot of people realized he's not just a guy playing a character but he really is a grumpy asshole IRL. I think that made him come off as more genuine rather than just A Dude Playing A Gimmick,

As soon as anyone starts off comparing this situation to anything that would happen in a real world job, i stop reading because IN NO WAY is working for WWE (or any wrestling company) comparable to a normal job with a normal boss.
