I noticed RVD seems to be moving much better than he was in his TNA run. I don't know if he was hurt or if it was from the weight loss, but he's looked better the last two nights than he has the last 5 years or so.

I guess WWE didn't have to worry about the Husky Harris chants after Wyatt cut that awesome promo then killed Truth with his move. It's mind boggling how great he is compared with how wooden his brother is.
  3. Won't there be a backlash if Bryan loses the title minutes after beating Cena, especially if it's to get Orton over as a heel?
  4. WO.com reporting RVD and Punk both got 12-14 staples from their wounds tonight. Punk seemed to purposely stick his head out for the angle with Heyman so I hope it was worth it.
  5. I though Sheamus was going to die when he took that awkward bump off the ladder. I wasn't too excited to see Orton win, but it didn't kill the overall show for me. In fact, Henry tapping out deflated me more than the ladder match. It did seem like they were intentionally not giving that particular crowd the winners they wanted, which is always amusing when WWE does that.
  6. The doctor cleaned him up and put vaseline on the cut.
  7. Pretty sure the "Vince is mad at the Shield" is a fake story being planted by WWE to further the Vince/HHH feud like how Vince is supposedly upset HHH opened the new training center without his approval.
  8. Apparently the Ultimate Warrior is going to make an appearance on RAW to promote the new video game. If Triple H had anything to do with making that happen, he must have some kind of magic horse whisperer powers.
  9. I don't know about the gimmick, but Bob Holly mentions in his book (and talked about it with Dave and Bryan) that JR was legit pissed at Bart Gunn for KO'ing Dr. Death in the Brawl for All tournament. Knowing that when I watched the show, it made JR's promo where he slapped Bart look like a shoot.
  10. Also Dustin was kind enough to let us all know what Dusty would look like if he ever got lap band surgery.

Given WWE's wariness of head injuries/concussions, I'm surprised they kept the offer for her. I'm glad they did, since as stated previously she's got that it factor. She could probably walk out on RAW this Monday and be better than nearly all their current women.

Ooh, that makes sense. I kind of thought that's where they were going with the whole performance review skit. Vince was her white knight, and when Hunter inevitably overthows Brad Maddox for being a dipshit, Vince will come back with Vickie and whoever she gathers together as a stable.
  13. It should be noted that previously when the deal ended, DirecTV fought hard to keep exclusivity, to the point of probably overpaying the NFL just to keep it that way.
  14. DirecTV will fight to keep the package exclusive, it's their main club they wield over the competition. They have a lot of subscribers just from football fanatics who want to watch every game. Not to mention all the bars and restaurants that use it as a selling point.

Punk did look like shit in that match, while Orton was bringing a ton of intensity, but Austin probably shouldn't be calling him out on twitter Agreed he shouldn't be calling him out on Twitter, but that kick to the head he did while Orton was on his knees looked like it missed by a mile and was saved by a lucky camera angle.

Anyone else notice when Christian came out for his match, for a second the video wall at the entrance said "Michael Mcgillicutty" before it changed to the right one. At first I was like "live TV, lol" but then I wondered why they would even have that still loaded up considering he's been repackaged to a different gimmick.

The Wyatts fucking ruled, but I might be biased since their theme is my favorite WWE produced music in a long time.
  18. As someone who works for a cable company, I can vouch that the big time boxing PPVs are still the top drawing events no matter the price. Hell, the last few years the busiest we've been for PPVs have been for WrestleMania and whenever Floyd fights. They're going to ask $60 for SD and &75 for HD on the Canelo fight, and I'm going to go out on a limb and say it won't hurt demand one bit. Also, Showtime might end up helping boxing get its shit together. Since they don't have any meaningful MMA left to show they're trying to corner the market on boxing it seems. They signed a huge deal with Floyd for his PPV fights and those of guys he promotes. Since Canelo is being groomed as the Next Big Draw, they could conceivably have the market cornered on top level boxing.

I've always wondered what happened to Jericho, did he have some sort of injury that didn't heal correctly? He looks like a giant stepped on his chest and it caved in. As far as Rey goes, yeah the mask helps, but this is a guy who's looked like he's 12 years old for the last 20 years now. I think he's just one of those people who will always look way younger than he really is.

I don't get why WWE keeps Bill DeMott around considering if even 1/4th of the stories surrounding him are true, he's a PR disaster of a lawsuit waiting to happen.
  21. Is it me or does Kane look like a giant Tom Arnold in that pic?

Having the monster heel quit mid-match and not have it be leading up to some angle to get the heat back makes it seem like someone's not getting a free pass on the Wellness test anymore.
  23. WWC posted pictures from the event showing they came pretty close to selling the place out, looks like the show did great business.
  24. Not to mention it's been the elephant in the room for a long time that other than a few guys at the top, UFC pays shit relative to how much money comes in. What's really ironic is that Bryan has mention several times the costs fighters incur while training, like when UFC 151 got cancelled and pretty much fucked everyone on the card who'd invested in a training camp assuming they were getting a pay day out of it. Plus I'm pretty sure Bryan was making "loltna" type jokes when whoever it was had to take a job selling sunglasses at the mall while knockouts champ.
  25. I'm surprised they didn't find some other role for him since he's one of those rare people in wrestling that literally everyone likes.
