What's depressing is if WWE takes anything away from people's reaction (which is a big if in itself), they'll probably assume people are just mad Bryan lost and miss the point completely.
I'll admit I really would love to see a potential Bryan-HBK match, but it's just really a turnoff that in 2013 it seems like WWE is now just Hunter and Pals Run Wild. Even when Vince comes back to kick off their big WM angle for control of the company, it's still going to be reruns of shit we saw over and over again.
In fact, I would submit to the court that the most damaging thing to pro wrestling in the US has been WWE's idea that the company is the draw rather than the wrestlers. Not only does that fly in the face of over a hundred years of history, it guarantees you'll never create new stars because you've established they are just interchangeable parts.
