Wrestling thoughts that probably don't deserve

Seth Skyfire is the Tommy Dreamer of OVW. He got the belt because there was no one else after Jeter, Albright, Punk, Doane, and Nemeth all got called up. -

I know at one point, the WCW braintrust didn't like the fact that Muta was upstaging the good ol' American wrasslers and they pretty much jobbed out anyone Japanese. Didn't they tell him and Chono to half-ass a match in 1991 as so not to upstage anyone? -
I'm always partial to how Vince told Dr. D to teach John Stossel a lesson and then hung him out to dry when he did just that. All the stuff about Vince being molested by his mom makes the times he's been caught oogling Steph's cans on TV about a million times more creepy.

From his Wiki entry: Doesn't specifically say sexual abuse, but Young Master Vince didn't have a pampered childhood. It does shed a lot of light on how he got his views on women, not to mention he's probably got the world's worst mommy complex ever.

Saw ths at DVDVR and found it to be hilarious. To answer the top three questions you're probably asking yourself: 1. Ken Doane is Kenny from the Spirit Squad 2. Doane and Mickey James are a real couple, I think they're even engaged. 3. Yes, this guy with the hurt shoulder is the biggest pussy and/or douchebag ever.

Reading Jake Tales like that make me remember how pissed he was when Beyond The Mat came out (and they reference it on his WWE DVD) as if they edited the footage to make him look like a horrible person/addict. -
Sort of. Kennedy (or Ken Anderson) was one of Heyman's pet projects in OVW, as he was pushed pretty strong down there. I believe Paul even suggested the name change to Kennedy as a way of get him over with Vince, but I could be wrong on that. At any rate, most of the reports have the backstage opinon of Kennedy completely turning to the point that the feeling is "the ship has sailed" regarding any future pushes. It's been suggested that Johnny Ace in particular was eager to squash any plans for him just because of his personal feelings toward Heyman.

Kennedy's push is all but over now since Heyman was his big backer and he's concentrating on ECW. I have a feeling the people who don't like Paul are going to take it out on Mr. Kennedy................... Kennedy.

So does anyone know who's booking in OVW? Heyman seems to be devoting his time to ECW now, so who's got the book in Louisville? Speaking of OVW, Jim Cornette's the smartest man in wrestling. By maintaining his ownership stake in OVW he's getting paid by both WWE (which covers OVW's expenses) and TNA at the same time. -

Does it bother anyone else that Meltz reported about this woman's assault as if it was a spot in a wrestling match? She didn't "take a bump" she got knocked on concrete by some drunken jackass. -

The fans closest to the ring probably got picked up due to the cameramen, ring mics, and Tazz and Joey's headsets. The usual crowd mics you'd see on a typical TV wrestling show were muted/turned off. -

The ECW crowds are heavily muted since Universal is afraid they'll start chanting cusswords. I would imagine from the crap being thrown in the ring that the live crowd wasn't quite as apathetic. -

Holy crap, the wellness program doesn't seem to apply to ECW, as Test looks ridiculously jacked to the gills. He even got the crowd to chant "you use steroids" at him during his match with Al Snow (nice to see they got Al off OVW TV duty to job). -
What I find odd is the last time two WWF/E guys were caught doing a Cheech and Chong impression it led to pretty much the end of the Iron Shiek's career but the start of Jim Duggan's long mid card run.

That kid is everything wrestling should strive to be. More of that and less of the boss's son-in-law getting mustard-aided simulated blowjobs please.

Even better is when Candice stepped back to let the DX chick come out from under the table you could see she was wearing tight jeans with her belt buckle still fastened, meaning the DX chick must have made her cum with Jedi mind tricks. Bonus points if you notice that Candice's belt was hanging open when she and HHH went to the truck to find HBK in the following segment. Ah WWE, bless their little hearts, they always find a way to bungle the details. -
Which is ironic since Vince's coke habit is an open secret in the WWE inner circle.

Am I the only one who heard Biz Markie saying "OH SNAP~!" while reading that? I wonder if RVD would have any leverage since pot use has been a part of his gimmick since ECW and was still part of it in WWE in an albeit wink-wink way.

I think it was partly Dustin trying to sound like his dad and the fact that I noticed Dusty tends to tone down his accent when talking with/about his son. -

This would also mark pretty much the only time I can think of that a woman who was over left WWE on good terms without being erased from history as a result. -
I've heard rumblings that going on hiatus, like what Benoit and Angle are doing, is WWE's way of dealing with top name guys who maybe didn't get straight A's on the drug test. Angle in particular has said many times he's on scores of painkillers just to function. Odds are one had to have shown up on a test somewhere.

Heyman could go to TNA or ROH (where he'd be over despite what the ROH fans might say). Vince might be the best paying game in town, but he's not the only one.

I think that was their wink-wink way of saying the whole thing was a rib in the first place. -

I'm still puzzled to why his WWF theme was edited off the Wrestlemania box set, yet not only is it intact on his own DVD they even had a bit with wrestlers singing the song. I guess someone has to be "that guy". The documentaries are usually not the selling point of a WWE DVD. I can't think of one with the possible exception of the Bret DVD that I was looking forward to anything but the matches and extras. -
Certainly sad news, but hopefully he'll be able to make not only a recovery but a return to the ring. Jim Duggan showed that it's not impossible to do, and I believe his tumor was said to be the size of a football.
