This is going to be the most un-ECW ECW show ever. Anyone who's identified with ECW is either dead, under contract to TNA, burned thier bridge, or is too broke down to work. What's the main event going to be, Sabu vs Terry Funk in a first-man-standing match?

According to Meltz, the Mickie James/Trish's boyfriend angle is Vince roleplaying the whole incident with him and that tanning salon woman.

It was a good match, definately the best WWE main event in a while, but I'm telling you, once you get done creaming your jeans over Taker working like he was in WCW again you'll start to notice Angle doing all the stuff people bash him for doing.

True, but WWE has already established that woman-beating isn't a career ender.

I think four stars is a bit much. Folks are just excited that Taker had his work boots on for the first time in a long while, and they actually booked a main event where both guys come out looking good. I'm betting all the match of the year talk will die down once the afterglow wears off and people see that once again Angle was rushing from finisher to finisher practically killing off the Angle Slam and the Ankle Lock.

The few times I've seen him I couldn't get past how he reminded me of the love child of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Satanic Kevin Sullivan.

I'm already seeing it on other boards, so it looks like they booked Angle-Taker perfectly since everyone's calling it Takers Last Great Match and ignoring the fact that Angle has to do his two finishers a hundred times a match.

I just don't want to see another Orton title run jammed down our throats. On one hand I have to hand it to WWE for not giving up on the guy, but on the other hand I just want to say enough already. If WWE put half the effort into the rest of the roster that they did trying to get Orton over, they'd be in much better shape.

You won't get an argument from me, but I'd imagine the way WWE looks at it Dustin's woman-beating isn't going to lead to him hurting himself or someone else in the ring and drugs could. I still don't see what the big deal is, I don't think Tatanka's going to be getting world title runs or main eventing PPVs. If anything he's someone who can job so guys you do like don't have to.

I always thought he'd be good in a stable with Benoit and Finlay, they'd just go around killing people because they can.

Is WWE ever going to do anything with Albright, or is he just there to be a measuring stick for the guys they do want to call up?

I'd also add that the main reason why Vince has maintained the #1 spot in wrestling is more to do with his competition's failures than his own successes.

Vince only got an Executive Producer credit because he owned the trademark on the name "The Rock". I don't think WWE had any involvement beyond that.

In happier news, Meltz says TNA is giving Christian a chance to run with the ball and right now there's no set end to his title run. He said at this point it could be two months or the rest of the year. Everyone was worried about him getting the Rhino treatment, but it looks like he's holding the belt at least till Sting come back and probably much longer.

Like I said, I haven't read the book, but just seeing how the DVD presented the steroid trial as only occuring because of the lies Superstar told, I'm still skeptical of anything Graham takes blame for.

Vince's paranoia runs deep. He doesn't want to give TNA any attention. Besides, Vince could have made a fuckton of money with the Invasion, but he couldn't put money ahead of his ego.

WWE doesn't want their SUPERSTARS in the same ring as TNA Stars, as the whole Punk hoo-ha taught us.
