  1. With Bret and Eddie already in, and Dusty probably next since he has a DVD coming out, who do you think will fill out the Class of 2006? Assuming a class size of 7, my picks: Bret Eddie Dusty Ricky Steamboat The Freebirds (with Ray Gordy doing the induction honors) Mr. Fuji (they always pick someone completely random) William Perry (he was in the Battle Royal at WM 2 in Chicago, and it would have someone other than Pete Rose in the "Celebrity Wing")
  2. Yeah, Rude knocked him out (or at least knocked him silly).
  3. Mickie James did a rana on Ashley to elimate her from the battle royale, and Candice Michelle was supposed to push them both out. She was a little late and Mickie had to hold Ashley longer than expected which resulted in an awkward looking bump to the floor for both of them.
  4. To be fair, I think everyone wanted to smack Warrior around. Hell, Rick Rude actually did.

Wrestling companies always seem to get caught in that web, fans want to see the guy they don't like lose the belt, and when he does, the heat goes away since they wanted to see the ex champ lose more than they wanted to see the guy who won with the belt. 9 times out of 10 the promotion ends up putting the belt back on the guy the people wanted to see lose, since then there was at least some heat.
  6. Well lemme tell ya something Mean Gene, everyone's gunnin' for the Hulkster and he just does what he has to do to keep the WWF championship. If he has to fly 500,000 miles across the ocean and get rough with that nasty Fujinami dude, then that's what he's gonna do. He'll take that big nasty Fujinami and choke him out with the Pythons, then he'll take all his little Hulksters on his back and fly them back home again because THIS IS WHERE THE POWER LIES~! *rips off shirt, poses and snorts*

I just loved how just when the crowd was hottest for RVD, KICK WHAM PEDIGREE!

If it's RAW only, I'd say Carlito, RVD, Shelton, Masters, someone completely random like maybe Matt Striker, and Kane (he was in the last one for no reason, why not this one too?).

Carlito reminded me of Piper, talking while beating up that jobber. He's really been improving and I think while the company's got hard-ons for Cena and Orton, Carlito's going to end up being the star. At least the Spirit Squad are starting to show their talent, and the trampoline adds all sorts of possibilities. I'm glad they're using real first names for Johnny (Jeter), Nicky (Nemeth), and Kenny (Doane) so I know when my OVW heroes are in the match.
  10. Guess we know who's getting cut next.
  11. http://www.youtube.com/?v=wjIImt1YAOA Pratfall gone wrong, or Hulk not realizing it doesn't take much pressure to choke out a 150 pound comedian? You Make The Call!
  12. I'm such a mark, every time a Russian wins a gold medal and they play their national anthem, all I can hear is Nikolai singing. I half expect after the song to hear the Sheik over the PA "RUSHA NUMBAH ONE! EE-RAN NUMBAH ONE! USA, *PTUI*!"
  13. This is going to be the most un-ECW ECW show ever. Anyone who's identified with ECW is either dead, under contract to TNA, burned thier bridge, or is too broke down to work. What's the main event going to be, Sabu vs Terry Funk in a first-man-standing match?
  14. BTW, Marty's arrest info can be found here. Looks like he's been tagged as a three time DUI offender and was on probation when he got caught up in a domestic dispute and was sent to jail. He's on probation till 6/28/2007.
  15. WWE READS NMB~!
  16. Vince? Is that you?
  17. According to Meltz, the Mickie James/Trish's boyfriend angle is Vince roleplaying the whole incident with him and that tanning salon woman.
  18. It was a good match, definately the best WWE main event in a while, but I'm telling you, once you get done creaming your jeans over Taker working like he was in WCW again you'll start to notice Angle doing all the stuff people bash him for doing.
  19. True, but WWE has already established that woman-beating isn't a career ender.
  20. I think four stars is a bit much. Folks are just excited that Taker had his work boots on for the first time in a long while, and they actually booked a main event where both guys come out looking good. I'm betting all the match of the year talk will die down once the afterglow wears off and people see that once again Angle was rushing from finisher to finisher practically killing off the Angle Slam and the Ankle Lock.
  21. The few times I've seen him I couldn't get past how he reminded me of the love child of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Satanic Kevin Sullivan.
  22. I'm already seeing it on other boards, so it looks like they booked Angle-Taker perfectly since everyone's calling it Takers Last Great Match and ignoring the fact that Angle has to do his two finishers a hundred times a match.
  23. I just don't want to see another Orton title run jammed down our throats. On one hand I have to hand it to WWE for not giving up on the guy, but on the other hand I just want to say enough already. If WWE put half the effort into the rest of the roster that they did trying to get Orton over, they'd be in much better shape.
  24. You won't get an argument from me, but I'd imagine the way WWE looks at it Dustin's woman-beating isn't going to lead to him hurting himself or someone else in the ring and drugs could. I still don't see what the big deal is, I don't think Tatanka's going to be getting world title runs or main eventing PPVs. If anything he's someone who can job so guys you do like don't have to.
  25. I always thought he'd be good in a stable with Benoit and Finlay, they'd just go around killing people because they can.
