Eh, if you want to go by JUST the tag league for AJW 1985 - 6 of 8 that I know of were regular pairings, the rest not sure 1986 - 6 of 10 that I know of, the rest not sure 1987 - 5 of the 6 (out of 10) teams listed I know were reg pairings 1988 - 8 of the 8 (out of 11) listed teams were reg 1989 - 8 of the 8 (out of 10) listed teams were reg 1990 - no tournament that year? 1991 - 5 of the 8 teams were regular 1992 - 8 of 9 were regular pairings 1993 - 6 of 8 1994 - 2 of 8 1995 - 3 of 8 1996 - can't really judge. They were big into rookie/vet pairings off the heels of the Discover New Heroine tournament earlier in the year and this continued that theme. Of the teams that don't fall into that catagory only Shimoda/Reggie is really random 1997 - the roster was gutted by this point hence only 5 teams period, can't really judge. I'm sure they were just happy to still have enough wrestlers for a tournament at all. That said, atlest 2 of the 5 were reg pairings. 1998 - At least 4 of the 7 teams were reg pairings, the other 3 i'm not familiar enough with 1998 to say either way. 1999 - Also not as familiar as i'd like to be but atleast 2 of the 5 were reg. 2000 - 4 of 6 2001 - 5 of 6 2002 - 3 of 8 2003 - 1 of 6 that I know of 2004 - 7 of 8

91 - Kyoko/Yamada is random, Tak/Yoshida were reg tag parters at the time 92 - Kyoko/Aja were established by this time, Tak/Terri is random but their team only happened because Yoshida was injured 93 - Kyoko/Yamada were established by this point due to 91, Tak & Hotta were a reg team 94 - both random pairings 95 - Kyoko & Watanabe were both Bull flunkies so had a connection from that, Tak/Aja is random 96 - Random 03 - Random Tournaments were an exception. And I never said it NEVER happened but no it wasn't as common occurance as you're making it out to be. The matches you were complaining about random pairings in didn't have random pairings and would be easily understood by watching more footage

Given past history it probably will. He's had the ability to take calls during shows for years now, he did it a ton when he first got the technology which produced some amusing B&V moments at least, then he got bored with it after a month or 2 and settled in to only using open lines on rare ocasions.

Pretty much every tag tournament they did they'd always toss in atleast a few random pairings, one of those things you don't give much thought to after a while.

Amused that Court Bauer was on F4 Daily today and basicly shot down Meltzer's whole Steph/Heyman theory saying that back when Heyman was on creative he had more arguments with Vince & other ppl then he did Steph and that she was actually bummed out when he got let go from the company.

Overall thought it was an OK middle of the road type show. Nothing horrible in the ring but no great matches either that i'll remember in a week. Same for most of the promos & skits except for the DX reuinion and Mae Young's hand which I both found amusing. Thought the Punk turn was pretty generic and he's been a heel for like half his career if not more so there's no novelty to that. This was the first full RAW i've watched in forever and this really didn't do anything to make me want to tune in nxt week. The match they built up that I most want to see after last night is one we're probably not even getting in Rock vs Danielson.

They've been cross promotiong with Chikara and building a feud with Kingston vs Steen for a few months now. They allready had one match that ended in DQ so this is the re-match.

Hmm, i'm always iffy on stuff like that. It sounds great on paper to do such a thing but there's always so many ppl doing it and so many ways to easily get around and mask detection that enforcing that type of law on any grand scale doesn't seem realistic.

Gabe's been going heavily after ppl pirating his stuff for a while. He got XWT kicked off one of their servers like a year ago I think. Ppl, unfairly I thought, got on his case when he brought up how it's affecting his business on his F4W radio apperances a few months back but really there's a lot of others who feel the same way. I've heard Colt Cabana, Excalibur, Mike Quackenbush & Dave Prazak among many others all say similar things to Gabe in past interviews as well just not in such an over the top manner. Course, the usual response from the pirating groups & torrent sites is some combination of "we don't care", "what we do HELPS you out, you should be GRATEFUL we're giving your promotion the publicity and you're stupid for not realising it" and "i'm not going to buy anything from you ever again because you won't let me pirate it for free" which I always find amusing. I'm not gonna lie & say I don't DL shows all the time and have even posted some in the past myself but i'm not in denial about what's going on and I atleast understand whear the other side is coming from

How many teams is Chikara doing this year? They're allready up to 10 now. I think they're gonna need some ringers to take down The Faces of Pain. Fantasy booking get like Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior & Jay Lethal as the Ultimega Powers to face them.

See, even with all those guys being in their early 50's, I still can't imagine them not destroying the entire Chikara roster, like who the fuck can possibly beat this team.

World Wide 2/8/1992 Sting vs Vader 1st time they wrestled and they had awesome chemistry from the start. Only got 6 mins but they're throwing bombs the whole time. Sting german suplexing Vader is damn impressive

If they are getting rid of her it'll be real interesting to know the reason why. If she's still not ready to come back because of personal issues then I think it's good for WWE to probably cut ties cause at this point they've keept her employed for like 14-15 months and only gotten to use her once in that span. If it's the other way around and she is capable & willing to return but "creative has nothing for her" then i'd say that's pretty stupid because I thought she was getting over really well in the limited amount of time she was in WWE and could have been a big success for them.
