I feel like Kurt Angle regressed as a worker or maybe peaked too early & his style became more about just getting all his shit in and not selling. Angle had a lot of potential but he got too comfortable & got to a point where he was happy with his matches & it feels like he didn't wanna push the envelop anymore after that. I'd say the Rumble match with Benoit. Whereas Triple H is... bloated. Like he wrestles a lot of fake epics, with long, drawn out matches & a ton of 2-counts & finisher kick outs. It comes down to which of those two styles offends you less. For me, I put Angle a few spots higher mainly because Angle entertained me sometimes with comedy wrestling & some tag stuff. A big problem with Triple H for me (I had him at #100) is that a lot of his matches feel the same. Regardless of the opponent. Plus his "reign of terror" era doesn't age any better than it was the first time around either. He takes himself WAY too seriously. If I were to re-do the end of my list, I probably would have bumped Triple H for someone like Chris Candido, that didn't make my list. I guess the majority of WWE main events nowadays are like that Triple H style of match though...

I agree that it's the tone. Especially if you're not around often, are newer or have thinner skin. Personally, I know most the people around here well enough now where I think it's funny. I was the high vote on Scott Norton. My literal first reply to the discussion threads was about that...ha. I expected to take more shit for that one, honestly. I could see someone else taking it the wrong way if it were directed toward them or their pick as it can read like "hey, you're a fucking idiot" which will immediately make some people feel like they're being attacked, questioned & put them on the defensive though, ya know? Like the "OMG, you put him WHERE?" That's part of the fun for me though. But at the end of the day, we're a bunch of fucking nerds arguing about pro-wrestling on an internet message forum. There's not a lot shit we're gonna be able to hold over one another's heads big picture wise.

30 of mine are there already. Big Bossman being my highest at #45. Loved me some Boss Man. Surprisingly, I wasn't the high vote on him though.

Who the hell are we gonna focus on being overrated now? :-) And kudos for the reveal, Steven! Kurt Angle probably Oh fuck... Kurt's still there... And Loss said Undertaker... We've still got guys to talk about :-) This makes me think I might be the high vote on 'Taker.

I had Triple H on my list at #100. No regrets. That reveal was worth it.

Alright, I'll own up to being the high vote on Norton.

I'm curious how popular the list will be when it's all said and done. Like if other wrestling forums or websites will mention it & talk about it or not. Could maybe bring an increase in traffic, although I'm not entirely sure if we're looking to draw-in people from the Reddit, YouTube or WrestlingForum communities.

Scott Norton, The Barbarian, One Man Gang, Jacques Rougeau, Yokozuna, Don Muraco, John Tenta & Jamie Noble are all on my list. I have also not been the sole voter on any of them, so I'm feeling pretty good so far. This has been really fun! I'm really glad that I participated.

I have been the high voter on both Scott Norton & The Barbarian so far. I guess I like hosses more than most! Also, I loathe most women's wrestling & Lucha Libre, so there is a big disconnect there. I'm not ashamed of either!

It's funny because when I first got internet in 1999, I'm reading today in 2016 the same arguments against pro-wrestling that I read then. The "if you don't like it, stop watching" argument is nothing new, but for some reason, today it resonates with me & makes a lot more sense than it has over the years. After Royal Rumble this year, I pretty much stopped watching WWE until last Monday to see the go-home RAW for Wrestlemania. Then I watched Wrestlemania last night... and it all just feels lackluster to me. I feel disenchanted, like the magic is gone. I'll watch RAW again tonight, as I'm curious what the new angles they set-up are... but I fully expect them to just run a bunch of rematches again. I used to argue that you couldn't compare pro-wrestling to other forms of entertainment, be it television programs or sports. I'm not sure I feel that way anymore. WWE have went out of their way to make RAW, particularly, feel like just a TV show. If anything, they treat it as if the actual in-ring wrestling just gets in the way or is used to kill time. So looking at it in that way, it's not pro-wrestling, it's people without any acting talent trying to act & recite lines written by mediocre writers with a dunce in the production truck that doesn't know what the hell he's doing. It's not really that I have lost my love or passion for pro-wrestling. I think my involvement with the GWE Project showed me that. I'm just out of favor with the main WWE product.

That show felt like they took every person that the crowd wanted to see win & made them lose. Very oddly booked show. Charlotte, Roman, League of Nations, Zack Ryder, Jericho... just... OK? What?

Zayn/Nakamura was insane. Fantastic match that lived up to all the hype & expectations.

One of the things that I love the most about NXT is how in every title match on the card, I can see either the champion retaining or the title switching hands... and both would make sense. I reckon Finn will be the Demon tonight though & him losing as the Demon should probably not happen. Joe doesn't really need the win or the title but they might call-up Bàlor for when Bullet Club shows up. Not sure. The card looks really fun. Hope my internet holds up tonight! Predictions: Bàlor vs Joe Bayley vs Asuka Nakamura vs Zayn American Alpha vs The Revival Corbin vs Aries - Probably a non-finish to keep the story going. The Drifter vs Crews - Drifter is a jobber & Crews feels like his star is falling fast. He needs the win more IMO.

I'll just be watching NXT on Friday & Wrestlemania (no pre-shows) on Sunday. Don't care about the HoF speeches or all the replay stuff from the pre-shows. Not going out of my way for any non-WWE stuff this year. Just recently moved states, so still kinda busy.

WWE as a whole just feels like it's in a big rut right now. Not just because of the injuries either. Usually, in the past, even when things were down, you could count on the "Road to Wrestlemania" picking things up & making it interesting. That's just straight-up not the case anymore. It doesn't feel like Wrestlemania is even close, let alone the next PPV on the calendar. There's not any dream matches or money matches left. WWE hasn't made any real new stars. Ending The Undertaker's Streak was a big mistake. I just don't see the draw from anyone. A lot of the new Indy people that WWE is bringing in, the guys like Owens, Zayn, Neville, etc. I just don't see any of them being stars. It doesn't really have to do with their look so much to me as it does when they come on TV, I don't care if I pay attention or not. They don't demand that attention. Last time I felt like WWE had something special going was with The Wyatt Family & The Shield. The Wyatt's have no credibility now and I think splitting up The Shield hurt the show overall. I know the end goal was to make a star out of Roman & they got a decent run on top with Seth but the 3-man team running havoc on the show felt different... as soon as they split them up, it just felt like the same old thing again. Now they brought back ANOTHER McMahon and that is supposed to sell Wrestlemania? How does that help WWE or the show on the Monday after? EDIT: Daniel Bryan and his rise to ridiculous popularity was also pretty special & I forgot about that.

Toronto crowds are usually pretty fun. Remember how bananas they went for Rock/Hogan at Wrestlemania? They put that show on another level!

I really like The Miz. He's improved a lot. I don't think WWE will ever give him a shot again though, after his first WWE Title run. Shame, really, as he's a lot better now than he was then. A lot of the audience probably doesn't even remember that he was a WWE Champion & in a Wrestlemania main event. He feels like a genuine heel, which is something that is a lot more rare nowadays than it should be.

I'd rather they removed the announcing tables from ringside again, truthfully. That's a pretty contrived spot & nowadays, it's just a cliché. I also find it odd how WWE seem to be pushing the WWE Network show this Saturday so hard & damn-near ignoring Wrestlemania in the process. That's what it feels like to me. I mean, they have done some groundwork for Wrestlemania, don't get me wrong... but the push for this WWE Network show, it feels like it's more important than Wrestlemania. Maybe it's just because it is happening first, but it feels like a bigger show than the last PPV as well. Kind of odd.

Love Boss Man. Well deserved. Shame he passed away & isn't there to accept. One of my favorite "big" guys over the years. He entertained me for a lot of years. He was damn funny when he wanted to be too.

It took a lot longer than I anticipated but it was easy enough. I had to make sure that I was using all the names listed too, as there were some differences. In example, on my list I had Big Van Vader and Tajiri and they were listed as Vader and Yoshihiro Tajiri. So I had to make 'em match. Pretty sure I turned mine in the first day. How do we get to see each individually submitted list? Will all of that information be posted as well? I'm not just interested in the final ProWrestlingOnly results, I'm curious about the individual lists from each poster as well.

It would be cool if they showed Garvin doing the "9-1-1" which was the Stone Cold Stunner, years before Austin was using it.
