  1. ^^^^ I just tried downloading it from his site too with no success. Hopefully its fixed by the morning
  2. I still haven't heard it but I'm glad he gave the interview to Cabana and not RF or something like that....kudos to him for standing up for himself
  3. still cant get it to downlonad
  4. Yea I'm still trying to dl....almost two hours when all of his shows go one. Should be good
  5. I actually think that's part of the charm to it. The music alone pissed people off and the godfather to the goodfather was simple but such a great gimmick change
  6. I think a guy like Jericho was a great heel in his 08 form. Another heel that never gets mentioned and he's not a top 50 guy per se but Stevie Richards in his RTC for was a heat magnet thick in the attitude era
  7. The question of whether you take a run or total body of work is very interesting. I'm a pretty big fan of Bret and if asked what I consider him I'd definitely say babyface. With that said his 97 heel run is my favorite time period from him and I thought it was played off very well. He was hated in a time where people were liking bad guys. I guess if put shorter runs into the equation would Brets 97 be enough?
  8. I currently listen to about 20 and its a task sometimes but I go on long drives to knock some out so I usually stay current. Right now I listen to: Art of Wrestling Chicago Bears All Access The Chicago Bulls podcast Clock Radio Speakers Place to Be Pwo/ptbn Espn Fantasy Focus Football Talk is Jericho Both of Austins Jim Ross MLW The Law Combat Jack Wrestling Observer Juan Epstein Wrestling Culture You're Welcome with Chael Sonnen and Dj Mike Rizzy
  9. If I had to pick one or two shows to get the best Gulak/Thatcher/Busick match what would it be? To Infinity?
  10. I'll be the lone vote on this but I love Survivor Series 96. Bret/Austin is an all time great match. Taker/Mankind was solid, the tags were all pretty fun and had debuts of Furnas/Lafon, Funk, and Rock, and the main event delivered. Another great thing was the crowd being as hot as they were. The show really felt like the start of a new era
  11. Well 96 and 93 are still out there. I wouldn't mind Raven or Richards for 96. Or even Bubba
  12. Good site man. I'm going to be starting a blog of my own here in a week or two. Mostly reviewing the big three during the mnw era. I'll also have some hip hop reviews and some sports stuff. Was it easy to get the site going?
  13. His version of the swanton was so damn impressive. I always thought he could be a big time player almost on a Brock level especially with the size and athleticism. RIP
  14. This week's episode with Triple H was great. It was so good to hear H in this setting. His story telling is a lot of fun as you might imagine
  15. Great interview and fits perfect into the context of the show. Im surprised Parv didn't go apeshit at the mention of Dibiase. Way to to stay professional
  16. I work with the post office so maybe i'm next? Not for the post office though, so maybe i'm safe?
  17. His commercial plugs on the other podcast one shows are annoying enough. No chance I listen to him. Same goes with Piper. I like him but can't listen to him ramble
  18. I really likes the Rhodes brothers interview. It was fun to hear both guys shoot the shit on Dusty and you get Goldusts stories with Codys point of view as well.
  19. I'm pretty sure he posted part one of the Sting interview as part two as well
  20. I think the Morton interview was one of the best. I love how Austin lets guys reminisce and just steers guys along. Solid listen
  21. Who else thinks the Jones/Cormier brawl was staged?
  22. I wish the network would have a nightly roll out system of the old stuff or any other promotion they own. Every Monday is World Class, Tuesday is AWA, Wednesday is Mid South, Thur is ECW etc. They could do two shows a week and have enough footage to last a really long time. Plus you could follow a promotion chronologically on a set time and it would feel fresh.
  23. I think Austin is the perfect host because he understands the old school way and how people could say it was better but also realizes that a lot of the newer guys aren't allowed some of the freedoms he was. He's never too critical but instead offers advice. The problem i have with Ross is that he sounds way too bitter. Then he always tries to cover it up with his Aww shucks I don't know what I'm talking about I'm just an old man routine. It's obvious
