Backlund vs Swede Hanson MSG 10/22/79 is an abysmal piece of shit of a match for what it's worth.

I go to ECCW in Vancouver from time to time and am going to their show at the Commodore Saturday night, but I don't know anything about Wash or Oregon promotions.

Yes, the Philly show on April 18th is listed as a matinee, so the Landover show was the second of two held that day. The subject of Rocky movies came up at work the other day and I busted out a spontaneous Thunderlips impression. My Tor Kamata was better.

As lead historian, it is my duty to point out that the card Johnny attended at the Vet was in 1986 not 1987.

Also, and I didn't know this until just looking, Hogan wrestled on a bunch of shows in Florida in June/July 1981, including having a match against Lawler in St. Petersburg July 18. His last match for WWF appears to be 4/18 in Philly, losing to Tony Atlas. His first match in the AWA was 8/1 in Millwaukee. His time as a heel in the AWA didn't last long, by the end of the month he was booked as a face. Here's the card for that MLG show I mentioned featuring the WWF vs AWA title match:

This may be an oversight, but Backlund/Hogan 4/12/80 from Philly is a classic and needs to be added to the list. It's one of my favorite WWF matches from the 1979-80 footage we've been watching for Titans. Also, for a total surprise, the 8/23/80 Larry Z vs Ivan Putski Texas Death match from Philly is a genuine hidden gem. No joke.
