Based on the weather forecast, the idea of someone damaging their laptop at a wrestling PPV watching another one on the internet sounds like fitting karma to me

Some backwoods Southern indie needs to book that shit yesterday. The promos alone would be worth the price of admission. Well PWS on Thursday for Wrestlemania weekend is booking Rock & Roll Express vs Briscoes. Pretty damn close. Although I have yet to see any promos
-
Well that is what happens when someone only wrestles once a year. You can't really build feud. Although I figure that the Shield will help Punk win and the other 3 guys will face the Shield at WM By the way, Ryback vs Mark Henry? YES PLEASE

Sex tape anyone ? With Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella anyone? -
Yeah it was funny when Pat when on about how real wrestlers like Austin and Michaels didn't need hardcore to be the best to which they immediately talk about Austin vs Bret at WM 13 and then talk about the first Hell of the Cell Match If you like blood there is a bunch of it on the show and not the gray screen either. It was also cool to see some FMW footage with Onita vs Tanaka that was shown on the ECW TV show in early 1998. I will say I was surprised that there are people who still believe that that reason ECW failed is because we tired of the hardcore bloody style. I mean yeah lets not forget them losing money like water through a faucet and then losing their TV deal to the WWF.

When WCW was 3 hours long and sucked did Dave and Bryan constantly bitch about how long and tiresome the show was. When Dave tells you they are beating a dead horse they are literally punches at bones now

Is anyone really shocked that Vince's idea for bringing things back to the rating despair is Vince vs Punk in the main event

I don't know how long JBL has doing commentary for the WWE but at this rate Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio would have been a heavyweight champion of every lucha libre promotion in the last 30 years. I do love how he mentions the accolades from other promotions (Colons with WWC and Tensai with New Japan) to make him more important. -

While watching RAW I seriously fear whoever gets the wrath of Ryback's roid rage. Him throwing mics and chairs must have something for those in the first row By the way as good as JBL seems to be on commentary, JR has digressed into overplayed cliche machine. I don't know if you can use the "ring rust" argument with him. -
Unfortunately Ring of Honor's strategy for handling these IPPV's seem to be giving away DVD's and allowing a replay for many months. Unfortunately they have given no reason to actually pay for a replay
-
I don't know maybe I would have to look at the Roderick Strong vs Matt Hardy match from 2005 I think because at the time I though Matt was half assing it because he knew he was going back to the WWE. But I agree that he has improved in the last 4 to 6 months on the indies and I wouldn't have an issue with steen vs Hardy if it means never seeing Richards vs Steen
-
I can't believe you guys are doing an 80's yearbook given how much great stuff you already have on the 80's. Not complaining at all I would think lots of the David Von Erich passing would be included. Actually the whole hour of the memorial TV show would be yearbook worthy if it wasn't for disc issues. But Flair vs Kerry is definitely included
-
Not sure what is more worrisome to Ring of Honor: the constant IPPV connection issues or the fact that they really seem to be pushing a Matt Hardy vs Kevin Steen title program. Granted I would rather see Matt vs steen at Final Battle then what I fully expect to happen which is Davey vs Steen at Final Battle with Richards winning the title. Also Jacobs and Corino won the tag titles last night which I guess makes sense given how weak the division has gotten recently Apparently they are also try to tell us last night that Adam Cole is like the next Matt Hardy which is something I have never heard of before. I never looked at Cole/O'Reilly as a rip off of the Hardys. but at least they were smart enough to make him heel since the ROH crowd will never like seeing Matt in the ring

Didn't Moondog Spot get a heart attack during one of those crazy all over the building weapons brawls?
-
So I am guessing that the Lawler vs Sid Vicious and Dutch Mantell matches in next month are still on Great news indeed for Lawler
-
I do think this is going to be a good high quality documentary but I do have a feeling that for the hardcore wrestling fans the best shit will be on the cutting room floor unless they are doing something like Beyond the Mat and have 4 or 5 different versions. For example the latest video with Meltzer talking about New York and Philly fans is really good but for a 90 minutes movie you will be lucky to see 5 or 10 seconds of that 3 minute interview
-
Not that it was a culprit of the problem but according to Mike Johnson, Jerry was working indy matches in Aruba last weekend. Not sure if that meant he worked on Sunday and flew in late or what.
-
I don't want to sound like I am defending Bret but Owen was officially dead about half way through the show while the King is still fighting and actually improving. Of course that doesn't mean he is out of the picture but in WWE world that is mild grounds
-
Not sure if the crowd really knows what is going on. I mean it is quiet but except for Bret/Punk stuff the crowd was kind of dead to begin with.
-
The Cena/Hart segment at the end of the show is going to be awkward as hell. Hopefully they just decide to get rid of it
-
Yeah Cole is at the commentary table but he is just a statue from the looks of it. He looked white as a ghost and scared to death with the announcement. This really doesn't sound good especially since he worked a match about 30 minutes before the seizure
