    TV title match. Don’t think we have seen that title since early in year. Arn finds his target in the left arm. Taylor does the same atomic drop/back suplex combo as Taue. Quick time limit draw. It's physical but neither guy looked to really be in danger of losing.

    Hansen hates Lex Luger. Him and Motor City Man do have some things in common. Luger has two men to worry about now but he will have to seal with Hansen first. Paul E was doing his best to avoid spit from Hansen.

    Eddie talks about his new hometown of Memphis. Gilbert has been getting lots of advice from Funk. Gilbert says this will be Lawler’s last coliseum match. So come out and watch!

    Bill Dundee is delightful racist in these promos. He's not happy about the gas prices and doesn’t like what the sheiks stand for.

    Eddie plugs a match with Jarrett where the second has to wave a flag for their man to lose. Similar to towel match. Flag is nice cause it makes for a better visual of your second having to wave it front of everyone.

    Lawler says Funk has already taken the World Title on a tour of Japan. He’s hoping Funk keeps the title as he wants to take title back. Lawler is fed up and is ready to get mean and nasty. Oh, barbed wire match with Lawler and Gilbert.

    Gilbert keeps interfering in match. Marlin tries to keep Gilbert out of the ring but the distraction is enough as Funk uses the chain for the win. Thought we were heading for Lawler/Gilbert for the title.

    Demolition with new look masks. Ax tries to put over the team as new and improved. They have been on steady fall since WrestleMania though. Fuji keeps looking behind him. LOD are essentially squashing them bit Express especially Tanaka bump big. LOD set up the Doomsday Device. Fuji asks for help and Demolition respond. Demolition wearing the masks full time. Big beat down of LOD though to end show.

    They are getting right to it. Lawler starts to dominate. Eddie takes a walk and gets on the mic. He threatens to quit but then runs back in to break the 10 count. Lawler hits a piledriver but not interested in going for the pin. Lawler catches Gilbert reaching into the tights. He’s really hesitant to lock up. Lawler with the baseball slide to hit Gilbert’s manager! Gilbert finally uses the chain on Lawler. Eddie hit a piledriver on the ring bell hammer I think. Such a small object to try hit a piledriver on. Strap down. Cactus ends up in the ring but hits Gilbert by mistake. Funk is also ringside. I hope they are building to a tag match. This match was pretty good though.

    Great video with everyone moving super slow like zombies with Thriller as song. Satanico is very evil.

    Ivan feels Nikta has forgotten the old ways. The tshirt Nikita is wearing seems to be out of date.

    Pogo hits a ringside fan with a tshirt. So Onita throws the belt at Pogo and does a big dive to the outside. All before the match starts! Pogo stabs away at Onita’s torso and arm. He don’t feel like wearing his boots so he takes them off. Piledriver on a chair for the pinfall. It’s death match format though and Onita makes the 10 count. Onita hits a bunch of standing headbutts and I’m wanting to see him versus Fujiwara now. Onita piledrives someone through a table. More multiple headbutts from Onita. He then rams Pogo’s head into the mat over and over and gets the pinfall and wins. Finish worked for me.

    Flair and Teddy do some bargaining on TV. Flair wants a one on one match at the Clash between the Horsemen and Doom and if they win they get a tag title match at Starrcade. Flair starts at $50K and ends up at $500K and Teddy still declines! That’s a lot of money Long. Teddy has a counter offer. Flair puts the limo and yacht instead on the line. Flair doesn’t like this offer at first but ends up agreeing. Ric putting a lot on the line there.

    Heyman has a problem needs solving. He is at a seedy bar and throwing money around. He wants someone to take out Luger and finds the Motor City Madman.

    Brickhouse Brown attacks Tony Anthony but Doug Gilbert saves. Brown is left laying. Guy seems to have concussion issues. Brown can’t compete in tag match but Ken Wayne offers to fill in. Super quick tags by Davis and Wayne. Ken doesn’t seem like he wants to stay in there too long. He’s a bit busy fixing his boot and misses a tag from Davis. Ken proves to be a bad partner and turns on Davis. Brown tries to save. DWG and Sweet Georgia Brown roll around on the mat.

    Big celebration with streamers, confetti and balloons for Eddie. Gilbert is crowned the new king and is given a crown. Marlin tries to ruin the party. Eddie Gilbert reads off the top ten contender list which he is number one. Gaylord was posing in the back and is eating cake walking off camera.

    Bill and Jamie Dundee have matching bandages on their forehead. Local promo. Marlin will be in their corner.

    Exchange moves but then Maggs yanks on Lawler’s hair twice. Maggs grabs hair again to block getting whipped into the ropes. Maggs continues to pull Lawler’s hair to block moves. Lawles gets pissed and takes down the strap. After the match Danny Davis has words with Maggs over his cheating ways. Looks like a very good match between Gilbert/Jarrett from last monday. Gilbert uses a fireball but it gets Jarrett in the stomach instead of the face. At least Jarrett sells it properly. Lawler says he will be always be the king of Memphis.

    Sapphire has a DiBiase wrestling buddy in her arms. Dustin only has to last 10 minutes with Million Dollar man to win match. Ted does not have a whole lot of urgency when he is on the offense. Spending too much time putting the sleeper on. Million Dollar Dream with a minute left. Dustin is able to hang on.

    Brother Love is wearing a neckbrace from the DDT. Heenan wants to sincerely apologize to Big Boss Man’s mother for his comments. Love is so over the top about feeling the love. This was hilarious.

    Lots of fun and a great crowd. Big moves and kick outs at the end. Was routing for Hase/Sasaki by the end so was satisfying to see them get the win. Hase kicks out of the moonsault and then Sasaki hits two big power moves on Chono and Muto. Really strong match.

    Good match with them busting out the moves. Benoit misses the flying leg drop. Liger does not miss the shooting star splash. Think I preferred their previous match slightly over this one.

    Hash winning both the standing and ground game over Choshu. Hash dominated most of match. And then Choshu dominated the finish. Simple as it gets. Hash provided little resistance to Riki at the end outside of the missed leg lariat.

    Lynn misses a leap to the middle ropes so Kid just German suplexes him. Don’t know if that was planned but it worked. Lynn does a dragon leg screw but Kid totally no sold it. Lots of big moves by both guys. Kid start busting out all types of leg submissions. Who knew he had this in him. Kid is relentless with working the leg and it deservingly gets him the win. Real impressive showing from Kid.
