  1. Lot of work and detail put into making those masks.
  2. Satanico with a gusher which Dandy bites away at. First fall I’m not sure what happened. Satanico seemed to be saying there was a low blow but I didn’t see it. Dandy did push the ref so maybe that is what caused the DQ. Ref gets accidentally hit and then disqualifies Santanico. I guess we are even but both falls have been cheap. Good match overall though I’m hoping they take it up a notch in future matches.
  3. I believe this is my first experience with Funaki. Now I recognize him from AJPW. Quick striking to start. Didn’t interest me enough. Finish picked up but overall match was lacking for me. Tough to follow Fujiwara in my book.
  4. Fujiwara fights off an anklelock but doesn’t like his positioning so he just headbutts Takada in the face twice. Well done. Fujiwara gets on top later and drops more headbutts. Takada does his laying on the mat until 7 and then pops up like he’s fine. Fujiwara gives up his body to the kicks but you know he’s just waiting to catch one to try to get the anklelock. Oh no Fujiwara. Normally when Takada spends time on the mat I drift off but Fujiwara makes things interesting.
  5. Vince seemed to refuse to gimmick dress up on these shows going with the basic tuxedo.
  6. Albano calls Andre the 12th Wonder of the World. The background music at the beginning was annoying. Andre asks Albano what UWF stands for.
  7. Orndorff gone from WCW. He kind of stumbles at the beginning but he is after Doctor Death Steve Williams.
  8. Cornette wants to know who the Freebirds tag partner will be. WCW is checking off the list of various groups to make insensitive comments amount. I believe this is our first Native American comments from the 90 yearbook.
  9. Jamie is 19 years old and ready to make his own decisions now. Dad gives approval.
  10. Tony Anthony has a great looking picture of him and DWG posting with Brickhouse Brown when he was passed out with the wig and makeup on. Dave Brown helps Dirty White Girl along with her promo.
  11. Mean Mark has some questionable looking tights in these clips. They are now recycling songs for their music videos. Lawler puts over the Heart Punch as being deadly and something he will need to avoid. He also didn’t pin Mark in the tournament so he wants a clean finish this time around.
  12. Gilbert will become the Southern Champion so he can become number one contender to Jerry Lawler.
  13. Jake gets the bandages off but struggles to open his eyes. We get a brief glimpse of his solid white left eye. Rude makes more comments about Boss Man’s mother. Not feeling this feud.
  14. Jumbo runs the ropes to build up some steam to break up a submission by Kobashi. Kenta just lets go of the hold and clotheslines Jumbo. When Jumbo tags it first thing he does is hit Kobashi with a clothesline. Like that sequence. Misawa/Jumbo have strong moments in these matches but I’m also enjoying Kawada and Taue going at it. Fuchi seemed to be absent in this match outside of his interference stuff. Another strong match and Kobashi continues to improve.
  15. Confusing finish with the bell ringing while Nikita had the figure four on. Ends up being a draw. Ivan worked the back most of the match but didn’t really have a varied enough offense to keep me interested.
  16. Ivan has some lessons for Nikita Koloff. He is upset that Nikita has embraced the American life. He feels like he is responsible for Nikita’s success. Captain Lou is not a good interview host.
  17. Big Boss Man puts over his momma for all she has done for him. Go Boss Man. Hard times ahead for Rick Rude.
  18. Warrior accepts Macho King’s challenge. Sherri gets most of the talking in for Savage. Piper does his usual groping of her.
  19. Genius is having fun. Duggan and Neidhart look naturals dressed up. Hayes enjoying a beverage. Bushwhackers cutting the cheese. The pounded that joke into the ground. Hayes a few drinks in now. Gene calls The Genius the master sausage stuffer. Ah, I do laugh. Wasn’t this suppose to be kid’s TV? Maybe they didn’t get that line. Genius does crack me up though.
  20. DiBiase pays off the front row fans but Dustin refuses to give up his seat. So was that whole front row plants or did they let those fans go back into their seats after? Thought the match was alright but it was the outside stuff that was great. DiBiaise just beats the crap out of Dustin. We get blood on WWF TV. Dusty covers up Dustin to protect from from a further beating. Dusty was great at the end embracing Dustin.
  21. Oktoberfest and German references in our promos. Dustin Rhodes sitting in the front row. Warrior runs through Demolition. Smash seems to be doing all the physical work for Demolition. I know Warrior got the pin but felt like the Demolition/LOD feud is already over.
  22. Steiners hit their top rope bulldog and rather taunt then try pin Eaton. Same thing on a double Steiner line. Eaton bumped big for the Steiners through out and helped the match overall.
  23. Welt on Jamie Dundee’s back. He’s going to team up with dad and Lawler. Jerry advises Jamie that he will need to carry his load in the match.
  24. Real quick match. Davis and Brown get the upset win over Doug Gilbert and DWB. Non-title match though. Dundee gets fired up saying Lawler and him are still the kings of Memphis.
  25. Dundee calls up Lawler to be his tag partner this monday night as Jarrett was eliminated by Gilbert and Idol. Lawler agrees. Dundee gets jumped by Gilberts and Tony Anthony. Eddie brags on Lawler who is still on the phone and then puts the figure on Dundee. Idol gives a great promo talking how he has always been there for Lawler but Jerry turned his back. Gilbert seemed to enjoy just listening to it.
