[1990-12-01-NWA-World Championship Wrestling] Chauffeur For A Day
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in December 1990
They should have gone with the Morgan Freeman look for Teddy. Flair enjoys rubbing it in to Teddy. Janet Jackson will be joining up with Flair at some point. Teddy proves to be a bad driver. Oh, set up! He drops Flair off in a bad neighborhood and Ric gets kidnapped. Teddy and Doom go for a ride in the limo. -
[1991-06-10-PWA] Lightning Kid vs Wellington Wilkins Jr
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in June 1991
Kind of dark in the building especially on far side of ring from camera view. Don’t know who Wilkins is. He likes to grind things out on the mat with submissions. Another impressive performance by Kid who is on the defense in this match compared to the Lynn matches where he is the aggressor. Waltman should have had a much better career.- 14 replies

[1990-11-24-NWA-World Championship Wrestling] Music Video: Skyscrapers
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in November 1990
Sid just walk away from the Horsemen. He’s teaming with Spivey and they ares showing Teddy Long as their manager. Both guys are the master of the powerbomb. This video didn't make a whole lot of sense. -
Solie is investigating the situation between Sting and Scorpion. Crap assignment Gordon. So Scorpion’s voice makes people go crazy. More magic tricks from Scorpion. He turns a person into a leopard. This is mind blowing. Sting is putting the title on the line against Scorpion’s mask. Sting does another hyped up promo. Wrestling Wrap up not available in stores. Missy does mail. The hotlines must have been big business in 1990.

[1990-11-24-NWA-World Championship Wrestling] Terry Taylor vs Rip Rogers
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in November 1990
Ross has trouble with Rip Rogers name. Rogers does an airplane spin and gets a bit dizzy. Good time to climb to the top rope. I’m waiting for him to crotch himself but he ends up just missing a elbowdrop. The fivearm. You’re so clever Terry. -
[1990-11-24-NWA-Pro] Arn Anderson vs Terry Taylor
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in November 1990
More urgency in this match now. Flair shows an interest and arrives ringside. Taylor actually has Arn pinned but Doom break it up? Wouldn’t they have just let him lose the TV title. But they really want at Arn badly. The post match brawl is only shown briefly. This a puzzling feud. I can see a one off show like Havoc but it’s being given more legs than I would expect. -
[1990-11-24-USWA-Memphis TV] Interview: Jerry Lawler & Bill Dundee
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in November 1990
Dundee is glad to be number 9 on the rankings but he still has a climb to go. They are really pushing the rankings which I like. Lawler talks about the TV shooting schedule and how they could wrestle three times a night. Lawler gives us an update on Funk in Japan successfully defending his title twice. -
[1990-11-24-USWA-Memphis TV] Eddie Gilbert vs Jamie Dundee
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in November 1990
Joe Maggs with beard. Gilbert offers him an invited to join the Memphis Mafia. Watering down the group! Doug has agreed to put up the Southern title. Dundee hurts his knee and Gilbert attacks the leg. He bends Jamie’s leg around the ring post. Gilbert gets the figure four and Dundee gets his shoulders counted down. Felt like a squash to me. -
[1990-11-24-WWF-Superstars] Update: Demolition on probation!
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in November 1990
This feud is still going on? Tunney comes down hard. Demolition are on probation and will only be limited two members from now. Ax must be gone/going. Fuji and Orient Express will face LOD in a handicap match. -
[1990-11-23-NWA-Power Hour] Ric Flair vs Buddy Landell
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in November 1990
I like the early similar mannerisms by both guys. Ross was talking down Landell in match. Camera angle didn’t get the finish first time around and the announcers missed it. Too bad it wasn’t longer. -
[1990-11-23-WWF-The Main Event] Buddy Rose Blowaway Diet
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in November 1990
Not knowing Buddy like the rest of you I can see the humor in this segment. It’s not something that is going to build up a wrestler as serious though. He was looking huge though.- 10 replies

[1990-11-23-WWF-The Main Event] Ultimate Warrior vs Ted DiBiase
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in November 1990
Thought this was really good. Way better than Tokyo match. One of the strongest Warrior matches outside of known ones. DiBiase is protected as Virgil runs in for the DQ. I guess they didn’t like him losing again after Survivor Series. Savage runs down and attacks Warrior with the scepter. Once over, Warrior is still able to get to his feet with the title to a good pop from the crowd. -
[1990-11-23-WWF-The Main Event] Interview: Ultimate Warrior
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in November 1990
Good promo by Warrior. When he rains in the craziness he’s not bad. -
Thanks for joining us Warlord. He did wrestle another match earlier but still that was quick. Santana gets in some offense but he’s eliminated. The eliminations are fast. Martel pulls a Bad News Brown and walks out on his team. DiBiase won’t be paying him the bonus. Way too rushed.

[1990-11-22-WWF-Survivor Series] The Gobbledygooker
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in November 1990
The crowd boos when Gooker breaks through the egg. Gene gets in some one liners. Agreed that Okerlund helped with the live audience. Too bad Heenan wasn’t on commentary. -
[1990-11-22-WWF-Survivor Series] Interview: Randy Savage
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in November 1990
Macho not on the card but he gets interview time. Referring to himself as the future WWF champion. Savage hints at retiring once he becomes champion. -
Quick night of work for Koko. DiBiase beats Anvil with a clothesline? Love those rush pinfalls in the old WWF Survivor Series matches. The DiBiase/Rhodes stuff was flat. Crowd is really behind Bret. DiBiase and Bret was the easy highlight of match. Some great looking close pinfall attempts.

[1990-11-21-NWA-Clash of the Champions XIII] Ric Flair vs Butch Reed
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in November 1990
Arn outsmarts Simmons and gets the last shot in. Obvious result but still didn’t make sense to me why Flair put up his limo and boat for a shot at the tag titles. -
Sid is a good guy now? Real bad match. Big Cat shows up only to get punched in the face by Sid. Nightstalker tries to use his ax but Sid gets it and wins the match. Nightstalker immediately got up like he okay. That was dumb. Awful but Butcher/Zeus was way worse of a match due to time length.

York Foundation a head of time bringing sabermetrics to wrestling. They found the formula to winning.

[1990-11-19-UWF-TV] Steve Williams vs Paul Orndorff feud recap
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in November 1990
Who was the referee taking chair shots and no selling them? Doc seemed to get pissed off at that and kicked him in face. Well earned.- 7 replies

Andre the Giant is the only true giant in wrestling. This was settled in 1985. He snaps Big John Studd figure in half. Captain Lou says Andre has speed? Golden Greek has added Bob Orton to his stable.
