No announcing as match never aired of course. Hart Foundation slightly heelish in match with complaining to referee. Bret was in control but Jannetty blocks a sunset flip. Good first fall. Things going fine until Anvil hits the corner and the top rope breaks off. Bret goes to the headlock as there is lots of discussion going on with the referee what to do. Still think there is some good action after but the Hart Attacks does look weak with Bret not able to get any momentum coming off the ropes. They fix the rope for the third fall. The criss cross spot didn’t go as planned. Bret seems deflated and not even trying now. The finish doesn’t look right. Too bad The Rockers didn’t get a run with the tag belts. Also, not sure why they didn’t try to do the match again. Good match still and Bret has been too harsh about it. Though part of the problem with it was his performance in the third fall.

I hope he doesn’t wear that band around his neck in a match. Making it too easy for his opponents to choke him.

[1990-10-29-UWF-TV] Captain Lou's Corner: Bob Orton
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in October 1990
Albano is a big UWF fan. Albano does most of the talking for Orton. He’s more interactive in this than he was with Ivan Koloff. Albano just walks out on Orton at the end. At least this gave Bob the chance to talk. Oh, Lou is back to close things out.- 7 replies

[1990-10-29-UWF-TV] Steve Williams vs Paul Orndorff
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in October 1990
Agreed that this needed more time. I figured UWF needed to deliver a big time match at some point. The low blow stuff was fun.- 8 replies

[1990-10-28-WWF-Wrestling Challenge] Gene Okerlund interviews fans

I’m going to guess that it is a turkey in the egg. -
[1990-10-27-NWA-Halloween Havoc] Sting vs Sid Vicious
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in October 1990
The running lariat from Sting down the ramp into the ring was awesome. Sid leaves the ring in a title match but does come back. Flair and Arn ringside. Sid wins by just falling on top of Sting when he was doing a bodyslam. Something is up. It was a bogus Sting! Referee can now tell the difference and the match resumes. Sting with the small package to win. Interesting booking to that finish. -
[1990-10-27-NWA-Halloween Havoc] Lex Luger vs Stan Hansen
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in October 1990
Everyone down in the match including the ref. Dan Spivey throws the bull rope into the ring. He must have really not liked the way Blair talked about him in UWF. Hansen beats Luger cleanly with the Lariat. Nice replay of Hansen hitting Luger upside the head. -
[1990-10-27-NWA-Halloween Havoc] Stan Hansen promo

Hansen does a promo with half of his chew hanging out of his mouth. -
[1990-10-27-NWA-Halloween Havoc] Ric Flair & Arn Anderson vs Doom
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in October 1990
Teddy Long slaps Flair in the face. Flair shocked at that one. I expect Teddy will get his in return. Flair almost took out the camera doing the corner flip. Horsemen pick on Simmons. Crowd doesn’t know who to cheer for which hurts the heat for the match. They do pop for Arn’s DDT. Count out finish. It’s a good match but I think Doom should have worked more as the heels. -
[1990-10-27-NWA-Halloween Havoc] Rick & Scott Steiner vs Nasty Boys
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in October 1990
Sags means business right away trying for a top rope suplex. Scotty reverses and gets a big belly to belly. The Steiners don’t like to pin their opponents. Almost cost them with Nasties using a chair. Big clothesline by Rick on Knobbs. Nice looking spike piledriver by the Nasties. Sags takes a big whack to the head with a chair. I thought Scott broke Knobbs neck with the Frankensteiner. This was really enjoyable match. Nasty Boys are the ideal opponents for the Steiners. -
[1990-10-27-NWA-Halloween Havoc] Interview: Four Horsemen
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in October 1990
Sid makes an appearance with the rest of the Horsemen. Was Ole taken off TV to focus completely on the Black Scorpion? -
New look for Ricky Morton. Dressing up for Halloween. Rich filling in for Gibson who is injured. Midnights have their fans in attendance. Eaton goes to the top rope but seems to not know for sure what move to do Morton on the outside. Camera angle showed move missing completely but Morton sells like he got hit. Nice, rocket launcher on to Morton who was on the ramp. Eaton does a Diamond Cutter type move. Eaton hits the Alabama Jam but instead of pinning wants the ref to do the TKO count. That is cocky. Morton finally makes the tag to Rich. Not much of a crowd response though. Southern Boys show up dressed as Cornette. Rich ends up using Cornette’s racket to pin Lane. Midnights haven’t had the best winning record of late.

[1990-10-27-NWA-Halloween Havoc] Sting and the Black Scorpion
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in October 1990
Sting doesn’t want Sid to make the mistake of letting his butt overload his you know what. I don’t. Sting is excited. He’s all over the place actually. Black Scorpion shows up. He grabs some young female fan and decides to do a magic trick. That was awful. Ross, “I can’t believe what we have just seen.”- 10 replies

[1990-10-27-USWA-Memphis TV] Jeff Jarrett vs Danny Davis

Leapfrog collision. Good action until the run in. Gilbert sprays paints a yellow line down Jarrett’s spine. -
[1990-10-27-USWA-Memphis TV] Interview: Bill Dundee / Jamie Dundee promo
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in October 1990
Dundee all in black. Clips from past monday nights match. Jamie Dundee gets the pinfall for the win. Bill gets handcuffed to the ropes. He’s forced to watch Jamie get beat up. They blur out the bleeding of Jamie. Bill is worked up! Really good promo by Dundee. I don’t know much about the International Group he is feuding but this made me want to see Bill beat them up. -
Match has already ended but Gilbert and Jarrett still brawling. Other wrestlers struggle to keep them a part. Gilbert says he doesn’t want to talk about Lawler but then compares himself to Jerry. Anyways, he wants to be the Southern Champion. Eddie is putting his hair on the line in monday night’s match for the Southern title. Gilbert talks about George Bush Sr breaking promises. Gilbert moves back to talking about Lawler’s World title. Eddie gets into it with Dave Brown. Dave totally calls out Eddie.

[1990-10-27-USWA-Memphis TV] Interview: Jerry Lawler

Lawler now has his own 900 hotline. Bit cheaper than some of the other hotlines going around. He teases that he makes comments about other wrestlers on his hotline. -
[1990-10-27-WWF-Superstars] Update: Rick Rude suspended indefinitely!
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in October 1990
Rick Rude is suspended by Jack Tunney for making fun of Big Boss Man’s mother. Rude has left the WWF but still a unrealistic ruling to hand down. Heenan must now take over Rude’s matches against Boss Man.- 13 replies

[1990-10-27-WWF-Superstars] Brother Love: Jake Roberts & Rick Martel
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in October 1990
Model wants to apologize again to Roberts. He then blames Jake but still feels sorry. Model has a walking cane for Roberts. Jake needs help finding his way to stage. Nice sweater Jake. Love pokes fun at Jake by moving around all the time. Model comes out to make fun of Jake too. In the scrum, Roberts ends up DDT’ing Brother Love. We get to see Jake’s freaky eye. Great segment. -
[1990-10-26-NWA-Power Hour] Louisville Slugger: Nasty Boys
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in October 1990
Nasty Boys pushing they are from New York City. I guess this makes them heels in NWA. Solie runs down the Havoc card. WWF’s presentation is in another league. -
Don’t know who Kung Fu so him losing the mask didn’t mean much to me. Atlantis jumping on the ref after winning shows how much is means to him to keep mask though.
