  1. Close up of Razor’s chest hair. Ramon refers Savage as WWF champion so I presume title change hasn’t been shown on TV yet. This sets up his involvement in that match though.
  2. Cornette tries to rationalize his ways by explaining he was only providing first aid. Cornette rolls around the ring with the cash like Scrooge McDuck.
  3. Cornette doesn’t have his racket but the Fantastics use the belt and a metal bar early in the match. Not sure why Cornette doesn’t just grab one of those as the ref is letting things go with No DQ. Who needs a racket though when you can use some ether. Dutch thinks Fantastics were drinking heavy and just passed out.
  4. Cornette shows up with $20K in cash for shot a tag titles. Looks legit amount.
  5. That sure doesn't look like a speaker phone to me.
  6. Don’t like DQ’s happening in Cage matches. Landell enters the cage a bit too easily and helps Rich beat up on Dundee.
  7. Liked the first fall but the rest was just okay. Totally missed the finish on first watching and thought it was weak. Replay showed some clever cheating so ended up thinking it was good.
  8. Bad match up at this time period. Flair's offense looked like it had zero effect on Undertaker. Monsoon and Hayes were a rough commentary duo to listen to.
  9. Part of me thinks they booked some of the top rope DQ's just to push their telephone poll on whether the ban should be uplifted. Nikita does a good job eliminating himself running into Rude on the apron. Really needed to have Roberts hit the DDT there though. Vader continues to be Steiner's wrestling buddy to toss around. Scott eliminates himself with a clothesline off the top. Heels get it down to a 3 and 1 and Roberts gets to pin Sting. Match should have been longer. Was expecting more here with the elimination match rules in effect.
  10. Didn't even think about the top rope rule when watching. Thought match was good. Lots of people dressed up in their best tuxes sitting in a reserved area of the audience. Heyman is locked in a cage which is lifted to the ceiling. He's not playing up a fear of heights so I don't really see the point. Steamboat sneaks under the ring and comes out the other side which leads to the flying cross body for the win.
  11. Was Bruno still around by the time of White Castle of Fear? Bruno says WCW reminds him of his wrestling. Andre here is pretty surreal. They just acknowledge him and don't even get a few words from him.
  12. I like Pillman as a heel so the turn was welcome but yeah probably not the best way to make the complete turn. Armstrong came off weak in this segment.
  13. Clinical as far as the storyline but not so the execution in the ring. Savage is still selling the knee from Summerslam and Flair and Perfect are all over it. Perfect was completely in Savage's head here just repeatedly reaching in and grabbing the leg. Good point about Savage and Perfect probably being the best two workers in the ring. Savage heads up to the top rope and does further dame to knee. Flair slaps on the figure four for a long time and Savage ends up getting his shoulders counted down. Hebner's three count was really slow.
  14. Sure is a big crowd from some of the camera angles they show. They are really into match too. Great match. A bit too much cutting away to Diana though. Pretty interesting that the big matches for Summerslam were both good guy versus good guy. Bret kicks out of the powerslam while Davey survives the sharpshooter. One of my favorite finishes too.
  15. Thanks for the explanation about this as was confusing after just watching match. Nice video package with each guys getting a few minutes each to talk with clips of segments shown. Savage steamrolled over one of the WWF crew members when he was heading to the ring to go after Flair.
  16. Fans seem to be a bit more on Warrior's side. Think this match is pretty good but not as good as their WrestleMania match. Flair coming out to ringside in his tights and robe was a bit silly. I can see how people really didn't by that either Savage/Warrior sold out. Flair/Perfect are out there to stir up things though and get a bit physical. Savage climbs to the top for the big elbow but instead tries to dive to outside on Flair. Bad idea as Flair was ready for that one. He nails Savage's knee with a chair leading to a count out. Flair does applies the figure four to inflict extra pain. So Savage keeps the belt but is hurt and Flair is ready to get his shot.
  17. Nice to see Jack get more competitive as the year goes on. They put over on commentary that his Falls Count Anywhere match against Sting could have been reason why Sting ended up losing belt. Pretty decent match. Finish was disappointing but nice to see it builds to another match.
  18. Was that Hat Guy in the front row with the Hawaiian shirt? They did some stalling early but there was not enough overall wrestling. Match leaves the ring and goes into the bleachers were they are grab some fan's crutch and use it.
  19. Jesse loves his old WWF pals like Jake and Rude. Good promo that started off well but Jake seemed a bit out there in his story telling and kind of lost his place at one point.
  20. Yeah, the length would be my issue. These guys were doing pro wrestling type submissions on each like the Scorpion Death Lock and STF which was getting big pops from the crowd.
  21. Find myself not really digging Dragon in Mexico. Thought this would be a better. I'll have to check out their 93 match at some point.
  22. Armstrong wants cash money. Bargaining between parties on stipulations. Cornette's tennis game is going to get rusty not having his racket out there.
