  1. So that is four promotions for Sherri in the year right? Funk was not impressed with Smith and throws in the towel and beats him up after match too.
  2. I like it. Jarrett the original Diva of WWE. They put a good solid year and half plug into this storyline with Jarrett trying to break into Country Music.
  3. Jannetty has been delivering in matches on TV. Kid with a great looking German Suplex. These guys are pretty even in the ring. Polo gets involved though with tripping up both guys. Ends up with a double count out to Polo's delight. Marty and Kid beat him up after though including a very random make a wish move on the floor outside.
  4. Crush has adopted the evil goatee. Yep, I really like Crush's explanation and frustration of Savage. We can understand him being so upset at Savage for letting Yoko drop four Banzais on Crush. Fuji is the devious one we can see how he would try to manipulate a guy like Crush. Savage confronts Crush and it looks like the make up in the end. I really like that they did the turn in the aisle instead of the ring. Seemed like they would walk out of the arena together. The press slam on to the guard rail was vicious. Savage taking four Banzai drops would have been prefect symmetry to all this but I can understand not doing that as you would have to take him off TV for a while.
  5. Not a fan either of the gimmick in the first place. Too many falls. I enjoyed Jesse just randomly questioning the use of the word "rest period" between falls of a match where guys are beating the crap out of each other. Yeah it is not exactly just relaxing there on the ground. Wish they went with another gimmick as the "rest periods" hurt flow of match. Tony has never seen a stun gun before apparently as he couldn't tell what Harley had in his hand. Dave Penzer, "Vader rose to his feet first. *pause* He wins the match, the Texas death match. Here is your winner *pause* Vader". Penzer struggling to get through the announcement. Buffer would have done better.
  6. Terry Taylor is an outside referee and proves his creditials by immediately doing a referee bump when he gets into the ring. A WCW crew member decides to reach into the ring and take away the foreign object Rude dropped. He had to hand it back to Flair since it was part of the finish. Just awful.
  7. Bagwell gives Sags and Missy! the headbutt smash to each other. Jesse even chuckled out loud at that one. Titles switch back to Nasty Boyz.
  8. Jesse says Davey Boy Smith is a commoner and compares him to Jack the Ripper. Michael Buffer working the undercard. Regal has a great reaction after Bulldog does flip counter off an arm wringer and lands on his feet. Regal with his own cartwheel! Jesse does a better job of explaining what is going on in the ring than Tony. The early arm work was excellent. Regal kicks out of the running powerslam! Bulldog had the last minute or so but most of this was Regal showing ring superiority. Good stuff.
  9. The production time/money WCW puts into these things. Tony gets to show off his acting range.
  10. Spin the Wheel is back for Cactus/Vader at Havoc. Race interrupts a Cactus promo and wants to the Spin the Wheel. Cactus DDTs him on the floor and spins the wheel himself but it is a big cliff hanger as show goes off air before we find out.
  11. Nasty Boyz are stupid and pick up a beaten Bagwell before the three count. Of course they end up losing their titles and they deserve it.
  12. Tammy showing proper table manners for the ladies. The ones who maybe lucky to get asked before they die. Margie picks up takeout at Hardees which grosses out Tammy. Next week will be Exercise.
  13. Tammy has been taking care of Ron Wright's medication. They are sure Wright does not miss Dirty White Boy at all. Wright starts rambling about about tag titles but cannot remember the date he won them. He will get back to us on that. Lee and Tammy laugh behind the whole time. DWB to the rescue but Wright stays with Tammy for now.
  14. Bruise Brothers and Bodies battle outside the ring. Not much lighting out there to see. Did not like Brothers as heels. Not eager for their turn to faces either.
  15. Love that half crab that was increased to a version with Kawada pulling back more while stepping on the back of Kobashi's head. Kawada engages Kobashi into a great chop battle which he loses. Later on was great KO chop by Kawada. Crowd was into Stretch Plum as possible finish. Kobashi with a sleeper of his own. Been mentioned by others in theses threads but AJPW did need to protect submission more in the long term. It actually just sets up the pinfall as Kobashi passes out. Should have been a submission finish instead. Thought it was excellent up to the overuse of the backdrop suplex by both guys in the last few minutes.
  16. I did not have the patience as I fast forwarded at one point and by end was barely paying attention. Just too long for me to watch this style of match between two guys I am not familiar with.
  17. Get well Sal! The use of Tears in Heaven and the kids in the video had me thinking some family tragedy.
  18. That double leg thingy move Han does looks so cool. Volk Han will going after one limb with his hands but then wrap his legs around limb too. Good scientific demonstration by Han on the mat. His constant movement with trying to get a submission makes the mat wrestling interesting.
  19. Human Cage definitely sounds like guys on the apron. Those big Survivor Series elimination tag team matches they had in the first two events like at beginning until guys got eliminated. I thought the outside guys barely did anything overall until end when Sid got involved. Steamboat did some good stuff with his selling. When Vader was tossing him around, Steamboat grabbed Vader by the leg if only to try give himself a few seconds to recover. I think Vader should have won more convincingly.
  20. Flair talks about the one and only World Heavyweight championship. You got two of those in the one promotion! Fifi did look good.
  21. Mr. Monopoly. Vince missed out on using that gimmick name for himself.
  22. Van Horn briefly mentions his Egyptian Prince who we see on 94 Yearbook. What a long build for that guy. Steiners doing a British Bulldogs routine with bringing a dog to the ring. This bulldog named Arnold is way more aggressive than Matilda though and looks to want to tear a piece out of the Bodies. They keep the dog at ringside tied on a leash but it keeps jumping up on to the apron into the ring. I am totally fascinating by the dog here as it continues to bark and rage that it wants a piece of the Bodies. The Bodies must have pissed off this dog backstage to get riled up or something. The Steiners have to keep removing the dog from the ring as wants to jump and get involved. This should be building to a six man with Cornette and Arnold involved. That hot tag to Arnold would blow the roof off the building.
  23. Play by play guy likes Sherri's build. Both Tammy and Sherri get physically involved against the wrestlers. Sherri did not deliver the violence she said she would against Tammy. But she did her best to keep Tammy in line. Sherri pops Lee in the face after. Cracking up at Tammy in promo after talking about bringing Ron Wright into their home and feeding him like he was a stray dog.
  24. Kicking contest at the start though not the most stiff kicks. Tanaka does get a sweet leg sweep counting a high roundhouse kick from The Kid. Heh. Tanaka flip sells a Kid clothesline like it is Hansen's Lariat. Lots of kicks from Kid. Nice TV match. Tanaka was solid enhancement talent.
  25. Fun commercial with Yokozuna as Godzilla in Japan. I always hear the Unbelievable in Vince McMahon voice. A year later they would use a similar set up for Bundy's return to WWF.
