Brock is already getting babyface reactions and if they can't help but fuck over Roman by horribly booking him as a face, then turn him and at least have some fun with the boos. Hey, his real personality might show for once and he might find a legit character. I couldn't help but remember what they did with Lashley in 06' at the Elimination Chamber. The day Heyman left after Vince told him Punk and RVD where going to be the first eliminated so the crowd HAD to get behind Lashley as he was the only face left. That was 9 years ago, the lack of awareness from this company is something else sometimes. I wonder if Hunter buries creative when Austin interviews him.

Anyone else liked the Rusev/Ryback match as much as I did? Thought it was the best non-Daniel Bryan match Ryback has had.

Wow. Incredible write up. Answers a ton of questions. We were right on pretty much all of them. Bryan was taken out of the main event scene because of the Summerslam buyrate. Not really surprising but interesting to see in print. Bryan revealing Hunter wanted to work with him at Mania to finish the story. Steph revealing she has improved because she was away for awhile and got corporate boardroom experience and had a new perspective on life as a mother. This was said several times on this board. Again it seems Hunter and Steph were fighting for him against Vince WWE ended up releasing a revised Summerslam buyrate at about this time last year that showed numbers only slightly behind the big 2012 number with Brock-HHH. That didn't get much play when it was reported in the WON for reasons I never understood, as the original number set the events in motion that led to the WM30 main event. I guess he might have won it earlier had the original projected number of buys for Summerslam been accurate. Yeah. Summerslam buys went from 296,000 (the bad number) to 332,000 as the final number.

I'd be happy with that scenario and I think most fans would at least be content with it. I don't see fans "hijacking" shows if they know the end game is Brock vs Bryan, regardless of the title. Don't know if putting Reigns against Rollins will stop the backlash from the "he's not ready yet" crowd but It wont be nearly as bad if he gets the Rumble win AND Brock.
