  1. That last sequence was very weird but a really good main event, loved the atmosphere. Would've love for them getting a couple more minutes for bigger entrances to make this feel bigger. Regardless, it got the job done and I truly hope Ricky gets big feuds in 2023, just continue to elevate the guy. I guess Dragon is jobbing to MJF in Seattle. Gotta wonder who steps in for Revolution in March, maybe they do Omega vs MJF?
  2. Props to Jericho for that one, worked perfectly.
  3. Heel Swerve should be Ricky's next opponent. Money feud and promos written all over it.
  4. This been the hottest crowd for Dynamite since NY?
  5. "Even though this JAS and BCC thing is over it's not for me and Moxley!"....what in the name of shitty booking is this?
  6. Is this a common sentiment or is it just us in PWO?
  7. I pray to Terry Funk it's not Ricky....
  8. At this point I can picture even the Vince faction of the board (Linda and Steph) voting against his return, lol.

  10. Yeah, at first I thought Sasha being Saraya's mystery partner was just wishful thinking. I was under the impression that if she could've made the jump to AEW she would've already done it. But her taking the WK booking and either having a match or showing up to build to a future match in Stardom opens up a number of possibilities. And showing up in AEW seems way more realistic....or maybe Nick Khan/HHH were able to strike a deal with NJ/Stardom like Vince wanted to do when trying to retain Danielson?
  11. That's fucking awesome
  12. This Dynamite felt like the reset we've been waiting for the last 6 months. Also, it's too bad Eddie is a beloved babyface because I think he would be a perfect follow up for Starks after he losses to MJF. A guy he can have promos battles with and will force him to continue to get better at them and a wrestler than can give him all sorts of different (great) matches to keep building momentum. Sadly, I don't see Eddie being able to turn successfully, the crowd will cheer him no matter what lol.
  13. That Starks promo was such an statement. Tony better not fuck up his booking again after the title match. That dude has to be a weekly feature cutting promos or wrestling and he better get some compelling feuds and opponents for the foreseeable future. Dude is fucking money.
  14. I think you can make a "it's still good if you watch it on your own terms" argument with most wrestling companies in the world. That Matt post reminded me of Johhny's when he watched RAW on Hulu and found every complaint we had about the booking too over the top. TK hasn't had to deal with injuries for close to six months now, not sure how that's still an explanation of the booking. And the ROH stuff has clearly rubbed a lot of people the wrong way so it's no question an issue. Like, I still love strong Big Japan but it's booking has been down right atrocious for at least 4 years straight, no matter how much a pick and choose matches and still love what I see.
  15. If Argentina takes them out AGAIN, bubba Kawada might have to shut down his internet connection for the next 4 years.
  16. I remember Danielson taling about phones in the AEW locker room... I guess that's one way to tackle that problem (?)

  18. I think TK's main concern should be losing the demo that was carrying their ratings 12 months ago. Feels like they've had a significant fall on the one thing they had big success with. I know the network would still be happy with these ratings but the audience is telling them they are not "hip" right now.
  19. Thing about 2010 is that the Netherlands game was probably the best a Brazilian squad ever played under Dunga and somehow they lost. Kinda similar to 2018, I felt they were finally showing something fun to watch against Belgium and then got fucked on counters . My thing with Tite is that once his initial plan doesn't work, it never looks like y'all can't overcome adversity. 2018 WC and the last Copa America are prime examples of that.
  20. Y'all better stop chocking though. 2010 was bad, 2014 let's not talk about it and 2018 was face palm status.
  21. Yeah, my guess is that if he's going back to WWE it's because he asked to be released and it granted by TK. I think it's a loss off screen for AEW, as I think Regal was still working out with people before shows (doing it with Danielson) but as an on screen personality I think he was a huge let down. The best thing he did was the first vignette of the BCC and everything else was a mix of him being kinda lost out there and never finding his footing as the manager of a group that lost it's purpose very, very early on.
  22. Kawada looks exactly as the ramen shop owner he currently is, I don't think even Eddie would like to fight him currently. I don't want Tony to support the heavy doses of HGH needed for him to go back to wrestling shape. Eddie vs Yuki Ishikawa though....book it Adderall Man!
  23. LMAO at Tony repeating the same title matches now for ROH. The fuck is going on with him?
  24. What the hell happened to the camera at ringside? couldn't see shit of that final submission. Match did not disappoint.
  25. Not a bad call to make Hangman be the one to give Mox his vacation.
