Oh shit, my list being gutted now. Kandori, Lex, Marty, Devil, Ozaki, Inoki . . He's got his flaws but I don't get the hatred for Inoki. Love the carny bastard.

Matt Hardy's run after his Edge feud on Smackdown is one of the most impressive feats in WWE history. Here's a guy that looked and sounded like a total dork, and he was kinda exposed even more so during the Edge feud. So after that feud they just let him wrestle decent length matches nearly every week and he kept getting more and more over without talking or character development. He was just that good match guy, and he probably had the best matches on TV anywhere during that period. And that's before he made MVP in that tremendous feud. Also if you get to watch him live it's a whole other experience because he plays to the back in a really beautiful way that not many on the roster can do without seeming totally ludicrous. He's not the total package by any means but based on just wreslting ability Matt Hardy was pretty fucking amazing for a good length of time. I did find the dorkiness, bow legs and the all round look quite off putting, in the same way Kevin Owens critics dislike him. Aside from the punch I didn't care for his offence at the time. But he's with Finlay and Benoit as WWE guys from that period I need to rewatch.

I've seen one Terry match, the trios where he Navarro and Solar teamed against some CMLL guys. My first thought on him is that he must be the scuzzy, heroin addicted, long lost Chuckle Brother. I loved him straight away.

Hardy's a guy I need to give a post project rewatch, People I Trust seem to rate him. In real time I found him as ugly to watch as Edge.

Massively regret putting Ogawa so low. He's the only one of them AJ guys that I'd go out of my way to watch these days.

Hoping Luger makes the top 150.

One two punch with Hamada and Cota there. 'Motherfucking Charisma' is all you need to know. And that hair.

I'm playing catch up and I've had several drops now (Clive Myers, Yumi Ikeshita, Dean Allmark, Mick McManus, Alan Sarjeant, Stan Lane, Super Astro) but it's Emilio that joins Dump as the two that really hurt. Love that rough house sleazeball.

Matches that would peak your interest ... What's on the table?

Wrestlers who had a lot of great matches but aren't great
Badlittlekitten replied to Grimmas's topic in 2016
Hell yes! In fact he'd be about 1024x greater. -
Note that with the appearance of Ikeshita, Kuniaki Kobayashi and Jr Hayato the three coolest Japanese wrestlers of them all were too cool for our list and they don't give a Fuck.
-
Yumi Ikeshita Only the second of my hundred to make an appearance. All along I thought Ikeshita was my pick but I'm stunned to see not only is there two other voters, but it turns out I'm the fucking LOW vote. Rest assured if this was a favourites list she falls no lower than top 10. Notice how there's no goofy pics of Ikeshita floating about. Coolest as thee fuckest. The high vote is anon so I'm breaking rules and using the pic. I'd love to know who them voters were btw. Boatloads of swag.

That's awesome, that.

That's well harsh, that. Sure he's limited but Octagon was good at taking a beating, had fun comebacks, and got kids on the edge of their seat. I kinda love the guy. Just not top 100 love the guy.
-
God bless Mr White with his top 30 Octagon pick. This is way more exciting than I imagined.

WWF crowds were pretty quite for Benoit. Even after the 2004 push he wasn't as over as somebody in that position usually is. Not sure Benoits a good comparison anyway. His sheer physical charisma blows away the Misawas of the world.
-
Doubt Benoit would've been as over in the WWF as WCW. In fact he wasn't.
-
Kobashi's the exception.
-
Not sure WWF crowds would be into the 90s AJ boys. Unclear heel/face divide, no colour, no personality.

Kris is the best orator in podcast wrestling. Jim Barnett impression is priceless. These 'solo' shows have a nice feel to them.
