  1. Seriously? Lashley is a big guy with little presence and a not-tough -looking-at-all fairly creepy baby face. A mega push would go down more like Vladmir Kozlov than Lesnar. He’s booking early on was definitely shit but they’ve corrected the course. The lashley chant can be annoying and you can imagine Vince screaming in Rush’s ear but the closing beatdown got over pretty huge. Lio is Jimmy Hart and it’s gonna be great when somebody finally gets a hold of him.
  2. Eh what? Rush is great I’m his role. Lashley Is a thousand times more watchable now
  3. Sorry to hear that @KawadaSmile . Hope you keep watching and posting, always good to hear a more positive take on things. I echo what Jimmy Redman said, evolution was a fun easy watch.
  4. Has Steph ever said this on tv?
  5. Hey, what happened to the industrial suplex forum?
  6. Oh God no! The women's division is pretty rocky as is Seriously, can she talk? I'm not sure I see the positives in a Tamina push. But Rousey, she's something else . What started as a whiney insider cringe promo picked up somewhere in the middle and rocketed into orbit as Rousey revved back the intensity FULL ON and was ready to tear someone's arm off. It's was an amazing recovery from some awful material and a reminder that yeah she's ass kicker, that's what she should be doing. And she did. Has Brie always been this strong a talker?
  7. 'Triple H guy ' has been applied to almost every fucker on the roster the last few years. It means nothing.
  8. Kacy Catanzaro was the clear standout of a disapointing second show. She seems like she’ll be an interesting talent to say the least. Zeuxis vs Monroe was terrible which is a shame because Monroe Is charismatic as fuck. Don’t know how Martinez is juggling two jobs when she should be on TV or a least NXT in a Chris Hero type role. Were any angles shot on last years show? This could do with something to spice it up a bit.
  9. I should have qualified that by saying she was a stand out in terms of what the WWE are looking for. (I've since seen her and Ripley are signed). I didn't see much wrong in her match from what I remember to be honest. And yes Meiko is on a completely different level to everyone else. Let's be frank though, women's wrestling has been taken seriously for a very short time in the U.S. It's fascinating to think of how the scene will look in ten years.
  10. Night one was a good watch. I’m so out of touch with indie wrestling in general that I’d never seen any of these girls before (excluding Meiko). Tegan Nox and Rhea Ripley were the stand outs for me. First time I’ve seen Satomura in a few years. Still as great as ever.
  11. Can the Bryan push talk be shuffled along into another thread please? Sorry, Its so tedious at this point. The Flair/Lynch interview was quality. Lynch in particular is PHENOMENAL. Her and Ronda are the shining lights in the women's division, which seems to have regressed significantly since the first half of the year. It'll be interesting to see what will happen following the Mae Young classic this year. The Miz is fucking kingly right now. Incredible to remember how much hate he used to get.

    NXT talk

Wow, Johnny Gargano sure feels like a chump these days. I'm long done with that feud to be honest
  13. Without spoilers, how were the the quality of the shows and who impressed?
  14. Extreme rules was poor and baffling decisions are part of the show as ever but generally WWE has been solid this year. Somebody the other day said there's only two or three guys on the roster that seem to have any direction and i think that's nonsense. In fact I'm finding it increasingly hard to relate to the negativity on this board. There's been a noticeable uptick in promo quality the last few months too. A lot of this of course is down to the roster, some of which is transcendent.
  15. Have any iron man matches been significantly over?
  16. This card looks like it could be really good. It wouldn't be surprising at all. And yes lashly/reigns has been great. Also it's great to see Axel and Bo finally doing something and being successful, why hate on it?

    NXT talk

It was great. Hopefully it leads to Tyler Bate leaving behind that awful moustache guy.
  18. What are examples of this? Be interesting to hear.
  19. The Braun and Kevin Owens relationship has made KO interesting and watchable for the first time in forever.
  20. I don’t remember raw being this wildly inconsistent before. A couple of weeks back was a mess but this weeks show was excellent. The women’s title stuff was trash but that was the only down point of a long ass show. They’re giving long neglected acts something to do - the awesome Mojos disdain at the conga line, Titus and Crews sticking up for the hard working crew, the continued Bo and Axek success story . . . It was all enjoyable. Bayley beating the shit out of Sash Banks was an awesome moment. Also, holy shit, the San Diego crowd were a massive surprise. Best American wrestling crowd I’ve heard for years.
  21. Absolutely one of a kind. Had an aura of true unhinged violence that almost nobody else in wrestling has captured. THE best big man of all. RIP Big Van.
  22. Gauntlet was brilliant and was perfect use of Bryan, Miz and Rusev. Even the handshake with English over stepping the mark with Styles was well done. Gosh though, that botched powerslam was one of the most horrific things i've seen that didn't result in an injury. Also, it's a shame I can't stand to watch Nakamura between the ropes, his promos are solid gold right now.
  23. Yeah Raw was very good. I liked the story they told with Rollins, karma bit him in the arse. Rousey was phenomenal in the opening segment. They pushed her to her strengths for once and Alexa is just the right person for her to bang heads with. I enjoyed Lashly tonight, more tough talk in promos like that and he may even get over. They really could do with the AOP right now. As much as I dig the individual teams, the tag division really is a comedy division right now. The lack of credibility is hurting the teams in terms getting over. Splitting American Alpha was really really silly.
  24. Move along then. Strange to see the backlash on Alexa. She was always the golden girl, that's been obvious since she showed up in NXT. She's a stronger character than any of the other Raw women, a feud with Rousey should be fun (if its competently booked.) and have a clear heel/face dynamic. She's perfectly good in the ring, puts things together better than Bayley for example. Moon and Riot have been on the roster all of ten minutes and will get their moments. And Rousey . . Wow. How long has she been in training for, a year maybe? She's already the best worker on the women's roster by a fair distance. It's crazy. Jaxx also put in a good performance, hope she continues to build on her heel work. I skipped AJ/Nak but the rest of the PPV was tremendous.
  25. What's the point of posts like this? I love Miz but it has to be Braun for me. He needs to mixing it with the big boys already. The MITB matches are very intriguing though.
