  1. Focus man, focus. Don't get distracted by shiny toys if you don't have use for them.
  2. Ask goc, he seems to be the go to guy for proxies at the moment.
  3. I've got 19 names still left on my list, need to look over the available wrestlers to see who I can add.
  4. Okay, I'm back. About Barrabas, he was one of the original Capitol Sports Promotion wrestlers when the promotion started up in the 70's. He was a masked tecnico called El Rayo de Bayamon. The story goes that he ended up turning on Miguel Perez Sr. during a tag match. This was basically the first big turn by a wrestler in Capitol Sports. In an interview addressing the incident, Perez angrily said "You are nothing but a Barrabas". He probable meant a Judas, but instead said Barrabas. El Rayo ran with it, naming himself El Rayo Barrabas, which eventually got shortened to Barrabas. He basically became the first notable heel manager in Capitol Sports, adopting Shag Thomas as his first charge. Barrabas would first lose the mask, and then lose his hair in his feud with Perez. This would lead to his trademark bald, sideburns and beard look. Barrabas would leave Capitol Sports for a long period of time (due to apparent legal issues), and would work on the PR indie scene during that time. He would return as a manager/wrestler in the early 80's. He would end up taking along sabbatical from wrestling from the mid-80's to about early 91 due to injuries suffered in the Dupont Plaza tragedy. Since then he has remained active in on and off spurts with different companies locally. Here's a clip of Barrabas in action in 1977: And here he is having a communication breakdown with Apolo during a match:
  5. I have to step out for a moment so cannot elaborate now, but I'm sure Dylan can provide detail.
  6. How long are we waiting if we hit five people after an expiration?
  7. WWC selects Barrabas.
  8. I was just about to post that about the champ working weekends in Puerto Rico. In that case, I would request the champ for July 1-3 (or 2-3), September 16-18 (or September 17-18), and December 16-18 (or 17-18).
  9. If we are requesting dates, WWC respectfully requests the NWA World champion for July 2, September 17 and December 18.
  10. There are a few names I'm surprised have not been taken considering their name value in certain regions.
  11. If anyone wants to stop after a certain point, they must post that they are dropping out of any more drafting. In those cases we would then continue the same order while skipping them.
  12. Glad Jesse got his pick in, hope he didn't miss out on anyone. Now back to our regularly scheduled program.
  13. Okay. If Abdullah is available for the 26 then I would like to book him.
  14. If the 26 is taken for Abdullah, then I'll take Nov. 19 and 20, plus 27 and 28.
  15. Abdullah for Nov 26, 27 and 28 please.
  16. To recap: Jesse Ewiak's time has expired, he can make his pick as soon as he can, but the turn moves on.. RocketCrypt is currently on the clock to make his pick, he has a little under two hours before his alloted pick time is up. Beast, TravJ1979, and dawho5 are next in line.
  17. More so if you already have guys you are working with in either running your territory or sharing talent. Long delays in making the pick during your window may cause others to miss theirs later as well with the shorter time window.
  18. Technically, once the 5 hours are up, the next guy gets to go. in this case, it's Parv since he's the second pick. So, technically, he has 10 hours due to the quirk of being back to back.
  19. The D stands for draft whisperer.
  20. Also a former NWA champ. It's a bounty of riches.
  21. Or Johnny Rodz in round seven.
  22. You're welcome. P.S. Don't forget the u in Boricua.
  23. That's a kind and generous offer. Thank you Stu!
