It's clear from my posts that I don't like Charlotte and I am a massive fan of Becky - so much so that I named a street dog my family rescued last month Becky cuz of course I did - and Charlotte absolutely was unprofessional if she sandbagged Becky in the segment, but this Keller report seems like a source who has a particular axe to grind with Charlotte. As susceptible as Dave is to being worked by his sources, Wade has historically been worse. I am not denying that a lot of the talent hate working with Charlotte, but there was also a report that she fought hard to lose clean to Bianca, thinking it would really elevate Bianca, and if correct, she was right to think and do so, and should be applauded for it. That's certainly doing more for Bianca than Becky has in the last two months. That part of the story has not caught any traction. IIRC, she has also advocated for Naomi in the past. I can't imagine that she has no friends or support backstage. Obviously Becky is the bigger star and also the locker-room leader, so Charlotte won't get any supporters if Becky confronts her, but that report made her sound like Scott Hall in 2002.

Having slept over it and subsequently thinking over it with a cooler head: fuck Cody, and fuck him for beating Black. Is there any good kayfabe explanation why, in a promotion where rematches are so hard to get, you don't get one even when you are screwed out of winning a title, he is constantly able to get rematches, and all he has to do to get a second rematch is have his dumbass students throw garbage at him? Fuck this shit.

The WON report crediting TalkSport says though that the "timing was off" when Charlotte did the back and forth, which makes it feel milder and a timing issue, unlike what PWI is reporting.

Dave has said that Vince relied heavily on the New Japan checks until all the revenue from the first Wrestlemania came in and he could finance the expansion on his own. Those TV bills were coming up around Wrestlemania and he had a lot of debts due to the expansion; a New Japan check shortly thereafter was crucial in giving him some breathing space to execute his grand vision. These women's matches need better agents. Too often there seem to be disparate parts in every match, none tied structurally together, weak transitions like the particular one that led to the finisher. I don't know if Britt botched that little Bret-Piper/Austin tribute spot or whether she was always meant to fail, but they did recover from it well.
