  1. Doesn't the fact they are in their own section indicate that they are going to be taken down? Why do that? Why not just add them to the main Raw section?
  2. That guy should watch Wrestlemania every year - all his favorites from the Attitude Era will show up and it's as good an excuse to have a party as the Super Bowl.

    WrestleMania 31...

Rollins also has had very recent issues with Cena, as well as with Ambrose (a proper main event match between the two could be excellent). You have your pick of programs in a way that no one else on the roster is setup to have. Also, frankly, the heel side of the roster is so thin that a heel champ was almost a necessity. Who were the heel challengers lined up for a babyface champion? Big Show and Kane? No thanks.

  5. I liked this, but I think it was more impressive for the heat than the match itself. It really felt stuck between the more traditional ladder matches of the past and the ones that would occur in the following two years that really escalated the violence level. But it certainly worked, with Rock getting a monster reaction for the People's Elbow and Triple H getting a star pop for the title win.
  6. What was it? While it might not make Bryan more money to be on the indies, I wonder where the cutoff is for the current roster. Obviously the NXT guys would make more money on the indies (but are specifically accepting a pay cut in exchange for growth potential), but is a guy at the level of, say, Ziggler, leaving money on the table?
  7. The WWF discussion was interesting, because a lot of matches got praised specifically for being different than standard WWF style. The Brisco-Murdoch/Adonis, Valentine-Garvin, Glamour Girls-Jumping Bomb Angels, and most egregiously Murdoch-Windham, which seemed to get praise primarily because it looked like it was wrestled in Tampa and not Philly. I find it disconcerting when people praise deviating from the norm only to argue that one style is superior to the other. Is it cool to enjoy a southern style that the WWF generally did not present in the mid-80s? Of course. But I do think it's an odd argument to say that a match worked in the southern style was "a good WWF match."

  10. Such a great feel to the old MSG - gives everything a bit of an extra energy.
  11. I liked the Batman style exclamations to the impact of the moves, but this was pretty low on my list of ECW music videos.
  12. It's been months since Nitro was entertaining.
  13. My wife, who grew up in Buffalo, definitely got a kick out of this.
  14. Worse moment - Goldberg talking or Chyna talking?
  15. In terms of a definitive blow off - it's always looked to me like Bigelow was definitely reaching for the ropes and not tapping. Not sure why they left that uncertainty in there when they showed Bam Bam clearly tapping in the first match.
  16. That big spot also played nicely off their previous ECW singles match at the Elks Lodge, where Tanaka took a nasty power bomb through a table to the floor. I think this match still holds up, but these two had a style where it just didn't produce very different matches each time they went out. As a result, it's hard to really tell the matches apart, other than a couple of memorable finishes (like the N2R 99 match).
  17. It should of course be noted that this was the summer - all those shows they mentioned beating in the ratings were reruns.

So, has anyone credible reported that Reigns failed a drug test? All I've seen is the unsourced post on Reddit.

  20. Which is why he's exactly the person you book your golden boy against.
  21. Reigns looked really good, honestly.
  22. The Rusev build was really worth it for that. And Cena did that totally right.
  23. Nikki's Alabama Slam was better than Rusev's.
  24. This could maybe have worked if he said a couple of sentences, but this was too long and not good.
  25. This needed more of a brawling style, and probably blood.
