We're just waiting on you now, Heath! We could actually have a 3MB member in a top role on each brand!

Did one of the Usos get hurt right after the heel turn? That definitely didn't help things. I had such high hopes for heel Usos. Love the superkick to the knee as a killshot. But once they turned they started losing matches left and right and then they're off TV completely. And they act like faces on Talking Smack while Rene and Bryan drool over how cool they are and how much they want to hang out with them. Let's see them act mean on SmackDown. As mentioned a big problem is that their tag division gets no time at all. You might go two weeks without a single tag team match on TV. And as far as I know, Smackdown has no B-show presence so you're not going to see the lower teams on TV at all unless they're in big 10-man tags with the entire division.

Between the Sheets #90 (April 5-11, 1999)

Those "fake" WWF/WCW CDs havent crossed my mind since 1999. I received one as a "gift" and I can vouch that they were indeed horrible. -
So last year Braun Strowman went from tagging with Erick Rowan on Superstars to becoming the Lord and savior of wrestling overnight. There's always somebody that comes out of nowhere to benefit from these things. Any guesses who it is this year?

Metalik has been wrestling on Main Event but not Raw or 205 for whatever reason

Oh dear lord a Wyatt vs Balor feud.....kill me

I loved Jeff Hardy in 2007-2008 and I'd definitely be open to a Jeff Hardy push. I can't believe he's only 39. Here's a question, I know he's got a ton of mileage on him, but has Jeff ever been injured? I don't recall him ever needing surgery or kissing time for injuries. And does he still have 2 (2.5?) wellness strikes against him?

Simon Gotch had been released, mutually agreed. Can't say that's a surprise.
-
He's really not even that over anymore. You would think this type of crowd would be behind him.
-
How on Earth can fans be chanting "we want Balor" while there's a BROCK/STROWMAN STAREDOWN???
-
Dana Brooke as a babyface feels wrong. I don't see that working out well for her. Great to see Emma and her awesome entrance music back. The first Emmalina vignette aired in OCTOBER. That's insane.

How would you book Roman/Taker? I think Roman needs to completely annihilate him. If they want a "star making moment" I think that's the way to go. Then sit back and watch the internet explode.

So in this case I guess the reason for uploading these is "just because." I'm all for it!

I seriously thought Haystacks Calhoun was already in. Pretty good group there.

Between the Sheets #87 (March 15-21, 1997)

During the brief period where the new DX were heels and feuding with LOD 2000, HHH would absolutely tear Sunny apart on commentary and interviews. I didn't realize he was doing that stuff this far back. He definitely didn't go that far with Marlena or Sable during the Goldust and Mero programs. -
Goofy shit aside, you could almost make this work if Orton and Wyatt were seen as equals. Orton feels so above Wyatt it's ridiculous. I wish this was used as a vehicle to make a star out of Harper but I'm afraid he's going to get lost. "If you can't beat them, join them" is another classic wrestling angle, but didn't Orton humble The Wyatts at every opportunity?

Is there anything in history like the Roman push? We're in our third straight year now and as Matt D stated above we're probably going to roll the dice for another year with him. History shows that when they pull the rug out from underneath someone, that's usually a sign that the company realizes the push isn't working and they try something else. But this has happened multiple times with Roman. The only similarities with the initial Cena push are the crowd dynamics. Cena was clearly the number one guy in the company and beat everyone clean for over a year after his "crowning moment." Another Brock title reign seems so out of left field right now. But they HAVE to do that result, right? There's no way Goldberg sticks around past Mania, or is there? I wonder what the original plan was before Balor got hurt?

That's been the problem with Bray since day one. There's nothing wrong with a wrestling cult leader character and with the right worker you could get a lot of mileage out of that. But they never really go that route. Bray Wyatt is 15 different writers idea of a character written down on napkins and thrown together with nothing to tie it all together. There's vague and mysterious and then theres vague just for the sense of being vague, which is dumb.

If I'm reading the OP's question correctly, I'll say Dick Murdoch vs. Afa from MSG, late 1984. It's literally Murdoch wrestling nothing for twenty minutes and somehow making it entertaining. It's the wrestling equivalent of a Warner Brother's cartoon. Great, great match. Murdoch was so good when he wanted to be.

Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard
The Chief replied to Lust Hogan's topic in Publications and Podcasts
I'll admit I haven't listened to Prichard's show yet but I liked Conrad when he was paired up with Flair and I seem to remember the general consensus on him being positive. What happened? -
Nord can still lay claim to having the greatest bad T-shirt of all time during his WCW run. Phil Schneider on Between the Sheets convinced me to check out some early Berzerker squashes and I just caught the knee-first-dive-to-the-outside for the first time. Holy shit! I have no memory of him doing that.

Wow, Titans had a Pete Best? I had no idea.

Tekno Team 2000 actually came back to WWF TV briefly in 1996 with a "NEW ATTITUDE." But I don't remember Erik's name popping up in any of the usual developmental spots in between that and WCW. Cagematch doesn't list any matches at all in that period. Great Louie Spicolli tribute. Louie as a Chris Farley character would have been a lot of fun. Now I wanna hear you guys do a 1997-1998 Shotgun Saturday Night show... -
Strowman vs. Big Show had the most "epic" feel to a TV main event that I can remember one having in a very long time. Maybe since Punk/Ryback? Fun match! I'm looking through the Raw roster and there really aren't any potential Mania opponents for Strowman. Henry and Big Show were both possibilities for a "passing of the torch" style match but that's in the past now. Both guys would also require a lot of rehab booking since they've been pretty low on the totem pole for the past year. Depending on what happens at Fast Lane, Reigns is still a possibility unless he's getting Taker, which the odds favor. Could they turn Rusev babyface? A babyface Rusev vs. Strowman would be incredible. You know Rusev could make it work since his character work is so strong. If Strowman isn't in the Battle Royal, that's an out of left field angle I could get behind.
