I thought I recalled Austin saying that and possibly narrating it on a video? I could be off on that though.... -

Totally agree. Bruce really won't knock WWE but he does give some insight on things and helps flesh out a few areas we might not know. Again, I like the fact that Conrad pushes Bruce in a lot of areas and forces him to move off the company line a bit. -

http://www.mlwradio.com You will see the podcast feed there. Also on ITunes. -
Brother Love Bruce Prichard has a great podcast with Conrad (Flair's sidekick) walking through old WWF events in their entirety. I've listened to 3 of the 4 episodes (Dusty Rhodes' WWF run, The Mega Powers feud, The Lex Express). Conrad and Bruce walk through things chronologically and it's a great listen. Conrad also challenges Bruce quite a bit on things the Internet might say or when he feels things are being presented as B.S.. Anyway, I'm getting ready to listen to the podcast on The Ultimate Warrior. If I had to draw a comparison it would be to the podcasts the PTBN guys did with Kevin Kelly about what happened backstage during his WWF tenure. So far the episodes have been: Dusty Rhodes in WWF The Mega Powers feud The Lex Express The Ultimate Warrior BTW the first 20 minutes or so are Bruce and Conrad talking about the current product so I usually skip to the first commercial and then the topic starts.

http://www.pwtorch.com/site/2016/06/17/jerry-lawler-fiancee-arrested-early-friday-morning/ http://www.pwtorch.com/site/2016/06/17/wwe-announces-jerry-lawler-suspended-indefinitely/ I meant to say assault. Apparently Lawler and his fiancée got into it and have different versions of the story. He's also been suspended indefinitely by WWE.

I wonder how the company will be viewed in the future by today's youth? It seems as if a lot of the current roster grew up as fans and wanted to do this since they were kids. With so much information out there on how WWE is truly run plus guys walking away rather than working there, will the investment in the product from potential future generations of WWE "Superstars" be even less? Once Vince is gone can HHH correct this issue? Kudos to Cody for standing up for himself.

Thanks Tim! It's already enlightened me quite a bit.....

Bryan was good at being a more pure babyface, IMO. Punk's sarcasm, especially towards authority really helped him as a babyface. Cents has it but seems handcuffed by Creative as to the image he is to project.

Really sad. Loved her gimmick and winning the IC title from Jarrett. To me it seems like once HHH and Stephanie hooked up she never really recovered. Not to dump on HHH and Steph but since they did get together while HHH and Chyna were an item I wasn't really a fan of Steph sending the condolence tweet, unless they made peace (Which I'm not aware of). I know Steph represents all things women to WWE but given the circumstances and how high profile Chyna was a tweet from Vince would have been better, IMO.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot......ERNIE LADD!! WAY ahead of his time! Heels getting shown up by the babyface is something I miss....also heel rationale on why they did certain things.

Mr. America's debut: My favorite part is when he tells the crowd of about 10,000 "SSHHH", like he's saying, "Don't tell anybody it's me!". LOL! To piggy back on this I love Hulk Hogan's interactions with the crowd. "The Orange Goblin" has GREAT timing whenever he's in the ring.

I LOVE the obvious face in mask gimmick like Charlie Brown from Outta Town, Stagger Lee, Mr. America, Midnight Rider, etc....so obsurd but they crack me up every time. "The Big Wiggle" from Norman Smiley "Screaming" Norman Smiley as hardcore champ Norman the Lunatic and him being controlled by a key. Teddy Long as a manager. CRIMINALLY underrated!

I think Beau from Between the Sheets Episode #33 would be a great addition/part time analyst if he has time to do this and if this podcast is still happening.
-
I finally listened to this episode and it was great. I would LOVE to hear more Memphis stuff as well. Wasn't there a guy not too long ago who was new, wanted to do a Memphis-centric podcast, and needed someone to help out? I think Beau would be great in that role if he had the time. Great job all the way around!!

Slasher, I took that to mean Vince didn't create Hulkamania. Vince and Hogan tweaked it and got it where it needed to be but it wasn't his idea. I could be misreading that though.... When I thought about it, was The Undertaker Vince's greatest creation, start to finish? He was the biggest guy I could think of without putting too much thought into it.

Vince knows EXACTLY what to do, IMO, he's just being stubborn. I found this article on pwtorch.com that essentially summed up what I'm feeling on the issue: http://www.pwtorch.com/site/2016/02/22/tuckerfastlane/ Excerpt: Vince McMahons wrestling organization has almost always featured one individual as the flagbearer of the company. From 1984 until 1993, that man was Hulk Hogan. Afterwards, Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart took the mantle. Then, Steve Austin would follow during the Attitude Era. Today, the face of the WWE is John Cena. What do these individuals have in common? They werent the men that Vince McMahon wanted. As early as 1987 there were reports that Vince McMahon was looking for a new Hulk Hogan, taking into consideration Hulks age at the time. When he could no longer be relied on, McMahon put his faith in the All-American Lex Luger in 1993, then Diesel in 1994 into 1995. Before John Cena became the face of the company, Vince had his eyes set on Brock Lesnar. Then Randy Orton. Then Batista. McMahon has never been able to mold his guy from the ground up. Hes always had to settle for who the crowd wants, not who he thinks would be best. And while in the past he has relented by giving Bret Hart the mantle over Lex Luger, ending Diesels title reign two years early and making his fourth-best pick John Cena the face of his company, his attempt to make Roman Reigns is different. This time may be his last shot to get his guy. Thats why McMahon will not relent anymore. This is his final opportunity to make his man the way he sees fit, come hell or high water. Fastlane was the latest example of a 70-year-old man trying to come to terms with his own mortality as he rejected the crowds support for Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar to push Roman Reigns as WWEs future. Tonight was Vince McMahon putting his foot down; Roman Reigns will lead WWE into the next decade, whether you like it or not.

Does Batista have beef with WWE? Why would he publicly tell fans that he told Titus to quit? Just curious.....
