  1. Different eras and all of that, but like you said, The Shrinkers were believable. They were also intimidating and looked like they could kick ass. The Usos, on the other hand, seem like they could be swallowed up whole by a gust of wind. Sure, there's a size difference, but that isn't what I mean. I think it's more down to their demeanor. Like you said, The Usos get too cute - not only with their moves but also IMO with their promos and mannerisms. I realize forced catchphrases are an unfortunate fact of life in WWE, but The Usos are particularly bad in this area. Having Braun win the title at WM would've at least felt slightly special, but I'm guessing the reason it happened now because Sami can't take a Saudi vacation. (Lucky him!)
  2. Glad I'm not the only one here who can't stand these overrated clowns. In a few years, there will be rumors about them jumping to AEW (spoiler alert: they won't), and everyone will be beside themselves acting like The Usos would be big draws and difference makers to AEW - when the reality is, they wouldn't move the needle one centimeter or add much of anything to a tag division with younger, fresher, hipper, and more exciting acts than them.
  3. The great commentator of our generation, Mauro Ranallo, addressed the Corey Graves situation: https://www.cagesideseats.com/wwe/2020/1/30/21115955/mauro-ranallo-addresses-corey-graves-incident-leaving-social-media-wwe Whether you like Mauro or not, it's hard to disagree with that.
  4. No show thread this week? I didn't even have any desire to tune in. Is the bloom finally off the rose? Cody vs. Dustin deserved that MOTY though, and man, what a swank plaque.
  5. Heyman seems to cool off on people though, or Vince cools off on them for him. We've already seen it with Cedric Alexander, Mike Kanellis, and Vic Joseph. I'm astounded Buddy Murphy is still being featured. I wonder if Seth took a liking to him and lobbied for him.
  6. This pretty much proves that Humberto is dead in the water. If he didn't get the title tonight after that, WWE clearly doesn't see much in him.
  7. Amazing segment!
  8. Time for Drew to Claymore two geeks. OC is the lamest shit ever. They make Undisputed Era and White Supremacy Imperium seem good.
  9. Honestly not looking forward to the next few weeks of shows, as they'll all be builds for SaudiMania, which I won't be watching.
  10. Hiya, Bubba
  11. I'm kinda hoping one of the WM matches is Seth, AOP, and Buddy vs. Ro, Joe, KO, and Show. Much preferable to Roman vs. Fiend.
  12. It's going to come down to Drew and either Orton or Corbin, isn't it? (With Edge also in the Final Four?) Edit: Well, not Corbin...
  13. Don't worry, he'll lose to Brock in under 10 minutes at Mania.
  14. Is Drew going to eliminate 13 himself? As boring as that would be, I kinda hope so.
  15. Well, he didn't look like shit, but that was hardly the best use of him either.
  16. At least the hug stuff was different and fun, and a nice acknowledgement of their legit background, past, and friendship.
  17. Well, it sure as hell won't be Shelton Benjamin, who has been a colossal waste of time since returning.
  18. Fuck this match. We didn't even get the annual Kofi stunt hope spot.
  19. What a waste of Morrison. Bet he already regrets re-signing with this dead end heat sink of a company.
  20. Santino and James Ellsworth, of course.
  21. Definitely true. Did any kind of concussion or injury result from that though? No. While I agree that a concussion can happen at any time for any reason, I do think he's safer in WWE, where they'll pull a guy out the minute something is amiss (like Wolfe).
  22. WWE isn't perfect, but they're a lot safer than the alternatives. Wolfe being taken out of the match last night is proof that WWE bends over backward usually with stuff like this.
  23. Man, Bryan getting multiple concussions and ending up a drooling vegetable in Brie's lap after working an unsafe Japanese/indie (AEW) style makes me hurt inside too. Yes, tons of dream matches in that scenario, but this really is what's best for Bryan the man and his long-term health.
  24. Well, they could've made the belt another color. But I wonder if this was really a case of DBry putting his foot down.
