  1. I wonder how Delirious feels about that. If that guy has any kind of executive position or influence, what a terrible idea... I don't care how "creative" he is - he has shown himself to be a massive liability in every other way. It boggles my mind why anyone is still interested in this guy in 2020.
  2. If this is true, I really question Scurll re-signing with a dying brand for a co-booker role where he'll potentially be undermined and overturned every step of the way. Co-ANYTHING usually doesn't work in positions such as this one.
  3. Except, I'm not sensitive, offended, or outraged by what you choose to watch or not watch, or anything you've posted. We're not living together, so why the fuck would I care? I was just wondering if you felt the same way about a similar situation (Hulk) - that's all, nothing more, nothing less. I had a little fun with my post, which seems to have triggered you for some reason. Please accept my sincerest apologies if I've upset you. You okay, man? You usually seem more even-keeled than this. While it's now clear that you don't particularly like me, my posts, or my opinions, I still enjoy reading yours.
  4. Who wouldn't be jealous of an Impact main eventer? That's like being the head chef at McDonald's.
  5. Tessa's lone defender?
  6. Agreed. And we've all experienced countless examples of that in wrestling, never mind mainstream media.
  7. Or I saw an opportunity to type a post like Hulk and took it. On a more serious note, I was just wondering if you would defend Hulk for "being in a different place in his life" when he made his racist rant years ago like you are for Tessa now. I think that's a fair question to ask, don't you? I'm not sure I've ever read this Scott Keith that you speak of, but yes, I did run off on a bit of a tangent there. As for The Usos, I think they're straight up trash people, overrated wrestlers, don't draw a dime, and I'd be fine if I never saw their cringe-worthy characters or lame-ass catchphrases on my TV ever again. I've no idea how you feel about them, however, and don't really care either way because it's not like you'd change my mind and they're not worth the energy to debate as far as I'm concerned. BTW, yes, I suppose I am "one strange cat, jack." Never denied it!
  8. Did you give The Hulkster the same leeway...brother? Or does Tessa get a free pass because she's a "better worker," JACK! (Even though she isn't. Hulk is a better worker than 99.9% of the pimped darlings on this forum and on the internet in general...brother!)
  9. Here are the tweets from the other thread: Shockingly, there have been even more since then. But someone else can gather those up.
  10. Tessa responds to someone else. Not sure who, but I assume Sienna/Allysin Kay. Tessa's fangirls are out in full force on Twitter, but IMO, when there's smoke, there's fire...
  11. More: Like @SirEdger said, I don't think it will make a difference to Tessa's Impact push - but she is absolutely done on a major league level. WWE already wanted nothing to do with her, and now AEW won't go near either IMO (even though daddy works there). Update: I think this is about Tessa too. Tessa responds to Chelsea Green:
  12. Not sure where to post this, but Tessa Blanchard is getting absolutely eviscerated on Twitter right now. We knew she had a horrible, toxic reputation, and we figured there was a reason WWE steered clear of signing such a "sure thing," but now we have evidence...

    NWA Powerrr

Reminder: The $15 preorder price for NWA Hard Times on Fite ends in a couple of hours. I'm debating on whether or not to order it, even though there's no announced card and I'm woefully behind on watching Powerrr.
  14. I will disagree slightly with @Coffey - I think the fans would have wholeheartedly embraced Punk if he had returned to the ring for WWE or AEW (and probably still would if he shows up in the Royal Rumble). No one cares about Punk's UFC background. Unfortunately for Punk, no one cares about WWE Backstage either. That's why it was easy for everyone to side with Miz in this. 1. Punk was wrong and an asshole. 2. Miz is actually wrestling week-in and week-out. The fans can easily see him and respect what he's doing. No one is watching Punk on a late night talk show. "Out of sight, out of mind" and "what have you done for me lately?" both apply to Punk. True, Punk was never a fluid "worker." It was all about charisma, attitude, and mic work. Further proof that rasslin' doesn't matter and is never what draws. I'd also take Miz over Punk, but Miz is successful for mostly the same reasons.
  15. Which makes me wonder: How the hell is As for Brandi... 1. Pairing Brandi and Kong was a solid idea. 2. Pairing them with other female wrestlers is also solid. 3. The disconnect comes with Brandi trying to do an evil "Wicked Witch of the West" Halloween gimmick. In addition to being the drizzling shits, it's not real. People know Brandi, and they know that's not who she is. You can't really get away with that anymore, especially in AEW.
  16. Mad Dog: The Maurice Vachon Story is currently on sale for $4.99 on Kindle. I really liked Bertrand Hébert's Patterson book, so this should be good too.
  17. 1. Bret is a multi-millionaire. 2. It's his daughter - the fruit of his loins, daddy - not a random family member.
  18. Don't think the workers and families affected are going to take much comfort in that. No, it's not Bret's responsibility, but he can easily make it right. His daughter may be a grown woman in age, but she certainly isn't one in maturity or behavior.
  19. Proof that the Harts are just as sleazy and slimy as any other carny rasslin' family. Slam Wrestling: Hart wrestling family's Calgary restaurant shuts down, owing staff thousands Bret can easily afford to cut one check and pay everyone his deadbeat daughter stiffed. I don't think he should bail her out to keep a failing business afloat, but I do think he should make it right for all of the workers affected by her lack of business acumen and basic human decency.

    NWA Powerrr

I'm woefully behind on the NWA and want to catch up. I missed the clip show (two episodes before Into the Fire) and haven't seen anything since. I don't have time to binge-watch a bunch of hourlong shows. Can anyone give me a playlist of must-see moments, matches, and promos? Thanks.
  21. I thought it was an immensely watchable show. A huge positive is that they're finally setting up things on one show that leads to the next, which was seemingly a lost art WWE forgot about for years. That alone makes these shows so much more tolerable.
  22. His tights look orange to me. Is it my TV or am I colorblind?
  23. Who else auditioned?
  24. Wade Keller is absolutely decimating Corey Graves on Twitter. Between the Mauro shit, "the first rule of punk rock" and other meltdowns, and now this, Corey really has become an embarrassment. It's sad. I wish he'd be more self-aware, cut the shit out, and get back to doing what he's actually good at because he is a talented young man.
  25. @goodhelmet Why did you respond to and then erase a comment to me? I still got a board notification for it, but now I have no idea what you said.
