Jinder will never "wow" anyone in the ring, but I kinda miss his push. The entrance was incredible, if nothing else. Unfortunately, the pomp and circumstance of his entrance has been significantly toned down since his WWE Title days.
My impression was that he switched back to his old gear more as a tribute to Angle, to show him and everyone else who his hero was and who influenced him to become a wrestler (both amateur and pro).
But I'd love for your idea to come to fruition. A legitimate singles run for Gable would be great - but as a babyface against Corbin, not a Corbin lackey.
Randy is going to beat AJ clean as a sheet in the middle of the ring. You all know that, right?
Triple H vs. Sting was positioned as WWE vs. WCW. We all know how that went.
Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles is being positioned as WWE vs. indies (AEW). WWE ain't losing.
I'm hoping I'm wrong and someone quotes this in a month to laugh in my face. I'd laugh right along with you.
No one should ever get their hopes up for a WWE mystery. The "WWE Universe" fails to learn and remember that lesson. Every single time.
(Myself included.)
I concur with all of this. Finally watched the Mark Henry doc last night, and man oh man, it was awesome.
I need to watch Nigel's at some point, but I know that one is going to be heartbreaking and hit close to home.
I watched the two new episodes of Photo Shoot with AJ Styles and Dolph Ziggler. No new information or grand revelations, just a fun trip down memory lane. I think this is one of the more underrated shows on the Network.
