    WWE Fastlane 2019

Fair enough. Hard for those to be anything more than "fun" at best.

    WWE Fastlane 2019

Yeah, because I'm psychic and knew it would last only 12 minutes...

    WWE Fastlane 2019

Maybe my expectations for The Revival are too high?

    WWE Fastlane 2019

That was a surprisingly underwhelming match.

Not sure what the point of that Bar match was, unless they're the newest members of Bryan's environmental entourage.

I am enjoying it, and I'm glad Shane was the one who turned. I wanted MizDad to turn too, but you can't have everything.

    WWE Fastlane 2019

Big test for Mandy Rose... ...let's see if she can carry Asuka to a passable match.

    WWE Fastlane 2019

Can MizDad be any more lethargic about all of this?

    WWE Fastlane 2019

These surprised fans have to be plants, right?

    WWE Fastlane 2019

What the hell was that nutty top rope spot? LOL.

    WWE Fastlane 2019

Maybe they're saving it for WM, which is the better idea, honestly.

    WWE Fastlane 2019

If there's going to be a pointless turn between Miz and Shane, I hope MizDad turns on his son and aligns with Shane.

    WWE Fastlane 2019

Really fun pre-show match, especially for something with no stakes that I didn't care about at all going into it.

Anyone hoping against hope for Dean to turn on Roman? The Lunatic Fringe vs. The Big Dog would actually be a compelling WrestleMania match with history, emotion, etc. and the perfect way to send Dean out of the WWE (if he is indeed leaving). Sure as hell beats Roman vs. Corbin or whatever the hell is rumored.
  15. Dave Scherer apparently posted this phony baloney on his website: (I've never been there because it used to have a massive reputation for infecting its readers' PCs with spyware. Whether that's still the case, I don't know. But I will never support or respect a site that doesn't care enough about its own fanbase to give them a safe browsing experience at the very least.) 1. I do not believe for a second that a fan - much less multiple fans - actually wrote these letters and/or cares what Scherer, of all people, thinks about Meltzer (who has laughably been given the Voldemort treatment here). 2. Even if multiple fans who obviously have no life did indeed write these letters, Scherer's fake "white knight" act is so nauseating and disingenuous to me.
  16. Agreed, but at least Bryan is still entertaining even within WWE's limitations. Gallows and Anderson don't get that much. I'm not saying they're this amazing act, but I was surprised when I saw how charismatic and charming they could be when left to their own devices. That, and tag teams have never been a priority in WWE.
  17. Maybe, but when you see that they have zero personality on WWE shows but tons of it outside of WWE or even on WWE YouTube videos that aren't as tightly controlled, there's obviously a massive disconnect. At the very least, WWE could be tapping into their innate charisma and charm a little bit more. No one is suggesting that they're suddenly going to be megastars, but their presentation certainly has the potential to be more entertaining than it is right now.
  18. I feel the exact same way. I think they have the potential to break out as big personalities, but their ring work has never wowed me. I'm surprised they weren't a massive success, actually, because character > in-ring in WWE usually. Then again, it's not like they got a chance to show off their natural charisma and charm anyway.
  19. It doesn't help when you have bottom feeders like Dave Scherer and Ryan Satin (a friggin' TMZ guy somehow being a respected professional wrestling journalist tells you how low the bar is) piling on Meltzer for something they probably didn't hear him say firsthand. I'm no Meltzer apologist, but this rush to judgment by other "reporters" on Twitter strikes me as gross and jealous.
  20. My friend found this. Haven't watched yet, so I can't say how good it is. Cool find nonetheless.
  21. I know, @The Thread Killer. You don't have to defend paying $9 a month. Sorry if it sounded like I was attacking that. I wasn't. From what you've described both now and before, it seemed like a really good deal at first. Since then, the content has dried up for whatever reason. But yeah, if it ever goes back to what it was those first couple of weeks, I think $10 seems like a good value for something you obviously really enjoy. $100 a month is insane no matter what it is. If Bischoff is getting even a few people to spend $100, I have to imagine Russo and other fringe/niche characters are probably making a bit of money too. (Not that I'm equating Bischoff with Russo - not at all - I'm just saying that there's clearly money to be made.)
  22. It doesn't even bother me that none of them got a World Title run. That simply wasn't how things were done then. Even the most naive 12-year-old fans had no expectations of any of those guys winning the World Title. The big problem was, all of those guys lost ALL THE TIME - Bam Bam to LT being the most obvious example, but even Sid and the Kid was a midcard fodder team that went nowhere, Tatanka went from undefeated to undercard, Bundy was neutered as a threat, etc.
  23. I'll defend the "Richard Fliehr" speech. Other than the cringey "this is not a character" and "Bad Guy 101" Russo-riffic references, I thought it was a very powerful and well-delivered speech - maybe H's best ever. It did make Flair look like a sad old man though. I am hoping against hope that Flair is in on this with Batista (we never did see the attack), with his rationale being, "Hunter, you look at me like an old dog ready to be put to the pound, but Big Dave realizes that I still am and will always and forever be the NATURE BOY! WOOOOOOOOOO!!!"
  24. Sadly, I didn't become a fan until Bundy's lackluster run with the Million Dollar Corporation stable (although I'm sure I saw Hogan/Bundy at WM2 somewhere along the way). Even then, I knew of Bundy's history and knew he wasn't being used to his full potential. Still, Taker-Bundy being booked for WM shows that they still saw some mileage left in the big man. Has there ever been a worse stable than the Million Dollar Corporation when you consider how many talented people it had and how badly they were all used during that period?
  25. I like Foxy more than most people on the internet seem to, but she's doing herself no favors with babbling posts like this one:
