  1. The women are back to being filler no one cares about.
  2. These HBK cosplay tights on Ziggler are just sad. Guess he didn't listen to the Stone Cold Podcast with HBK where bald old Shawn all but buried him for never going beyond being an imitation.
  3. Way to go, WWE - spell it out that New Day is definitely retaining, because no way does a paranoid burnout like Paul London get to keep any record.
  4. What device are you using? Granted, the WWE Network seems to be built on a foundation of sand in general, but the quality definitely varies depending on how you're watching. Edit: There are known issues with Xbox One tonight. http://wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2016/0619/612801/wwe-network-alert-for-xbox-one-subscribers/
  5. Great, one of the few matches I was interested in and I missed it. (I realize I can always go back, but ehh, sounds like the match was treated as a joke anyway.)
  6. I thought the kickoff started at 7:30, not 7. Did I miss any of the pre-show matches?
  7. Sounds like he's planning on staying with her. If so, he's an idiot (or she is, or both). I almost wish WWE could tell him "either her or us," but that didn't work last time with Kat and wouldn't be legal anyway.
  8. I was going to post this in "Comments That Don't Warrant a Thread" but Part 3 is locked and there's no Part 4, so this will get its own thread unless a mod wants to start Part 4 and merge this into that. Moolah gets a baaaaaad rap here and elsewhere, but this shows another side of her. Also, I thought this presented an interesting perspective from a woman who wrestled for only a couple of years - Sandy Stevens - but generally has more of an "outsider's" perspective on the business. It didn't consume her, it wasn't her life, but she was a fan and loved becoming a wrestler. 9. None of those names excite me... RVD is played out. Finlay who I love, has to be getting up there in years. Shelton never drew a dime or connected the dots. Even though people were always clamoring for him to get a bigger push, he was overpushed if anything. NAO, been there done that with The Ascension and no one gave a fuck. MVP, maybe, but if they were going to do anything substantial with him, it would have been years ago, not now.
  10. I got no beef with country music. It's the endless number of awards shows they have for it. Damn it, I meant to say reckless, not restless. I corrected my post.
  11. Geez, you guys, country's not my favorite either, but does listening to it really excuse a reckless fistfight with your aunt!
  12. Vader unleashed a series of increasingly unhinged tweets toward Ospreay. Ospreay responded by acting like he was cosplaying The Young Bucks at a comic convention. In other words, being a smug douche. Kinda warranted in this case though, as Vader brings on the cray-der. I'm sure this will end with Vader proclaiming, "I'm just working an angle, brother." http://wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2016/0617/612759/will-ospreay-involved-in-twitter-fight-with-pro-wrestling-legend/
  13. I know of instances where a "May-December romance" have worked, but those are rare. And the couple I'm thinking of (no one famous) didn't get together when the female was barely out of her teens, like The Kat (not sure about this latest one). Hopefully things are okay with her and her daughter now. You did a good thing there, but I imagine how exhausting it must have been doing it again and again.
  14. Well, that and many other reasons. In addition to dating women young enough to be his daughter or even granddaughter at this point, he seems to pick real head-cases. Ms. Kitty/The Kat and now this drunken child girlfriend of his. I'm sure the lives you potentially saved would consider you heroic, even if they'll never know what you did.
  15. Okay, I have to admit, this made me laugh. Edit: I somehow missed this part in the news story. Yeah, that sounds bad. :\ Really hope he just forcibly restrained her to prevent her from driving drunk.
  16. Agreed! This is by far the most embarrassing thread I've ever seen on PWO. If he laid his hands on a woman, absolutely, that's horrible and indefensible. However, if he in fact stopped her from driving drunk, then he's a hero who possibly saved innocent lives. It's well-known that Jerry doesn't drink alcohol but does have poor taste in women. If it's true that she was intoxicated during the CMA Awards last week and got into a fistfight with her aunt (Wrestling Inc.), he should've dumped her right then and there. But love is blind. A tragic situation all around, but most of the posters here are only concerned about his commentary career and happily celebrating its demise. Never mind the real issue here. That isn't important, right? Pathetic!
  17. Officially confirmed: Will Ospreay is a smug moron who makes stupid and offensive comments without batting an eyelash. "I want to address something and it's not about what time it is. I tell you what, you know what time it is? It's time to get with the times! The IWC wants to say Ospreay doesn't tell any stories. Now I don't know why they'd want a dyslexic kid to read them Harry Potter...." http://www.cagesideseats.com/indies-independent-wrestling-indy-promotions/2016/6/14/11938506/will-ospreay-shoots-on-iwc-tells-his-detractors-to-get-with-the-times
  18. Matt Hardy is the best Hardy, both as a character and in the ring, and he always has been. I'm glad other people are finally beginning to realize that.

Tye Dillinger deserves every bit of the popularity he has IMO. He's an unsung hero, much like Tyler Breeze before him. Almas did not impress me one bit in his first outing, which is the only thing I've seen of his. Bad costume, bland ring style, just a massive disappointment all around. I hope Tye gets a much bigger push soon. I was also one of the fans of his "crappy" tag team with Jason Jordan. Were they American Alpha? No. But they were decent. Definitely for the best though that Tye is by himself now and Jordan is with Gable.
  20. I think the shirt actually showed up a few weeks before the Taker match. It was a massive spoiler, but of course no one saw it coming. Edit: Never mind. The Conquer "the Streak" shirt was different.
  21. Mine froze up a couple of times.
  22. The End ... of American Alpha's Tag Team Title reign. To be fair, The Revival has been doing awesome work as of late.
  23. The horrible Steiner tights are less appreciated though, at least by me. They scream "we're still in developmental" to me. What happened to the sleek red, white, and blue?
  24. Tye Dillinger is over as rover. Andrade "Cien" Almas has an awful outfit and look, but all of that will be polished in developmental. Terrible match IMO. Not impressed by Almas so far.
  25. Austin's thoughts: http://wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2016/0607/612439/steve-austin-on-what-he-thought-about-ricochet-vs-will-ospreay/
