  1. I think the few of you who have everything on disc already are the super, super, super minority in this case. I can see why you guys are disinterested but I've only scratched the surface with the Network. I have just about every WWE PPV from 1987-2001 on disc, but nothing of WCW, nothing before that and very little after that. Just catching up with WCW, ECW will keep me occupied not to mention consuming the TV I've never seen before and much more.
  2. Bingo. Like most shows, the less Vince has influence on the better it seems to be.
  3. We’re back with a brand new podcast talking all the latest news in professional wrestling including our initial thoughts of the WWE Network, WWE’s Elimination Chamber PPV, Hulk Hogan’s drawing power, Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling co-promoting shows in May, title changes in Dragon Gate USA and a bevy of other topics! http://www.voicesofwrestling.com/2014/02/26/wwe-network-elimination-chamber-rohnjpw-more/
  4. Found out WWE Network is blocked at my work, so I'm going to have to wait to get into it and play around. Turns out, that may be for the better as I don't think I'll have much luck now anyway.
  5. WrestleMania 25 always comes to mind for me. Just an insanely hot crowd for Taker/Michaels, a quiet buzz for Cena/Edge/Big Show then absolutely not a peep out of anyone for Orton/HHH.
  6. Everyone is pretty aware now and I just own it. Yeah, I watch wrestling, yeah I study it, yeah it consumes most of my life. I figure, at this point, I'm 26, if you think it's weird then whatever I don't need to associate with you.

  8. I've heard Voices of Wrestling is pretty cool. http://www.voicesofwrestling.com RSS is at http://voicesofwrestling.com/rss
  9. Thanks for letting me join in, guys! I had a lot of fun, can't wait to do it for 14.
  10. ACH of Inspire Pro Wrestling, Ring of Honor, PWG, AAW and well, just about everywhere fame joined us for a wacky interview talking Texas BBQ, NBA 2K14, anime, Whataburger, and at some points wrestling. We talked about ACH’s future wrestling in Texas, Inspire Pro Wrestling’s “Light the Fuse”, differences between working singles and tag-team, the grind of traveling across the country, exposure in Ring of Honor, his potential return to CHIKARA, why Kevin Steen and Jimmy Jacobs don’t like him and so much more! http://www.voicesofwrestling.com/2014/02/14/ach-inspire-pro-wrestling/
  11. I feel like there was some random Cruiserweight match perhaps something with Jericho in late 96 ending during a commercial break. I could be totally wrong though.

    CHIKARA

Wrestling Is Fun draws fairly well. 400-600. I imagine the students work for little. Wouldn't the students partially pay to work anyway? Bingo. Plus, guys can double (sometimes triple) dip in CHIKARA. They just have to put a new Ant costume on. There are a few names I know for a fact that will work as a few different characters in the universe.
  13. They didn't use to bother me years ago because JR would always say "We have to go to break but this will be the last one of the night!" or something to that effect. Made it seem a bit more rational that they are cutting away, it's not something they WANT to do but they HAVE to do it but there was transparency in knowing it was the last commercial break. I also felt like more of those 1996-1998 commercial breaks happened during an interesting point in the match so there was a bit more intrigue in not only sticking with the action to see what happens but also a more transparent "SHIT WE HAVE TO TAKE ONE MORE BREAK, SORRY!" Today, guy goes outside the ring and you know what's happening. Cole just rambles about coming back soon, return to action and somethings happening when nothing was happening when we left. You know nothing of importance happened and it's just overall very aesthetically jarring.
  14. I've only listened to a few minutes but thus far it's been great. These are two great minds in the wrestling world so having them talk is like a dream come true. Can't wait to listen to the full thing.
  15. EDIT: Nevermind!
  16. No, no, don't apologize. It's a confusing mess to try and understand but hey, it results in tons of hours of awesome podcasts so just enjoy the ride. Thanks for listening though!
  17. It’s another jam-packed show as Joe and I talk Dolph Ziggler’s WWE App promo, what we thought of it and what it could possibly mean for Ziggler. We also quickly discuss CM Punk’s departure from the company, what we’re looking forward to with the WWE Network as well as the rumors of Pro Wrestling NOAH’s KENTA possibly signing with WWE. Lastly, we switch gears and discuss CHIKARA’s return at National Pro Wrestling Day, independent workers improving in major companies and last but not least, listener questions. 18. I meant to post in the Royal Rumble Thread that I've enjoyed the Rewind shows. Glad you guys are doing Mania. Well, "I'm" not doing Mania this go-around. Technically, as confusing as it is Voices of Wrestling did the Rumble Rewind series but were helped out by a number of the PlaceToBeNation guys. Because I enjoy my sanity, I've decided to NOT do a Mania series but PlaceToBeNation WILL be doing one and I'll be a guest on two of their podcasts. That's confusing as hell, glad you enjoyed them regardless haha!
  19. I love the change guys. If you need any additional help prettying the skin up, don't hesitate to ask
  20. Yeah, I'm guessing annoying. I don't get the point honestly but I'll take a free ticket.
  21. I just got a ticket bought for me to the March Raw in Chicago for the sole purpose of "WE SHOULD GO AND CHANT CM PUNK! TAKE OVER THE SHOW" Not even kidding.

We may have bitched about three-hour Raws but these types of matches (main event) was a by-product of them needing to fill that time. I loved that main event. Wasn't the most exciting match ever but told a great story and really made both guys seem important. Am I completely out to lunch in thinking that's Orton/Bryan's best match ever?
  23. Oh man, I can't wait to listen to these. Thanks guys!
  24. I've seen this happen at boards I frequent. Try to stay away from the feature if you can.
