  1. Good show lads, love all the detail in these episodes. One thing - you think Austin/Rock at Backlash was better than any of the preceeding Foley/Rock matches in 1999?
  2. Yeah, one of the few times I didn't mind Conrad digging his heels in on a point
  3. Austin's 2002 departure episode is really good. Honestly, when Conrad's got a big topic, does loads of research and hasn't time for fucking impressions this show still works.
  4. What about 'if you haven't anything nice to say about (whatever - in this case wrestling) then don't speak at all/don't watch it'. I really can see both sides on that one.
  5. Really liking your jaunt through 1986. There's an absolute bucketload of WWF from 1980-87 I really should settle down on and watch. I like that you're starting to call Scott out on some of his barmy theories too
  6. Just listened to the Sep '89 NWA Power Hour episode. Yeah, interesting podcast. Looking forward to more.
  7. Cheers, I'll give this a go.
  8. Brian Last checks his ego at the door whilst interviewing, however.
  9. Hi guys, Good first episode. One thing I'm wondering about though is whether Orton deserved all that hostility. Granted, he made himself a target as soon as he chipped in on this, but arguing that he's contributed little or no excitement apart from the Foley and Christian feuds is a bit much. He's not everyone's cup of tea, but even in the past year I've enjoyed him occasionally. Anyway, best of luck with future episodes.
  10. Another idea would be letting schiavone do (proper) commentary on at least one of the Flair-Steamboat trilogy. Or Flair-Funk.
  11. Yeah, KC would be right up my street.
  12. Uncensored 95, the general fondness for wrestlecrap.
  13. Really? I like him alright, but Conrad takes the show in undesirable directions imo. The Uncensored 1995 episode, for example. I'd love to see what Cornette, Last or a multitude of other podcasters could get out of Tony. Conrad seems such a waste.
  14. Wow, that was thorough! Great work lads.
  15. The WWECW episode was a drastic improvement on recent ones. Conrad did his research and Prichard had plenty to say. When it's good, it's good.
  16. Oh God, you two haven't met, have you?
  17. Bumping this to mention the Shane McMahon interview this week. Quite enjoyable, especially a bit when Shane refers to the territories 'starting to dry up' in the late 80's and Austin smirks....
  18. Do you disagree? I love the show. One of my favorite podcasts. I just find it puzzling that the same people bash it every week yet continue to listen. Must love punishment Have you noticed a change in the presentation over time? It's become a lot more schtick, box of gimmicks etc and a lot less insightful as time has gone on.
  19. The show is close to unlistenable for me now. The judgment day episode consisted of endless ads and tiresome impressions. Conrad's really running this into the ground.
  20. 20 minutes in to this. You're doing good, Justin. Really daunting prospect, for both you and Jeff. I'd have no idea where to start with a novice.
  21. Terrific show boys. If any of you find yourselves in Belfast I'd meet up for a pint.
  22. Other way around - if 1994 Pillman was let loose on 1997 WWF.
  23. Bret v Rocky Maivia in Spring 1997.
  24. Great concept. Could you perhaps do a feature listing your Top 5 WCW matches from various years in WCW?
