I don't know if this is the right spot, but I wanted to clarify that I'd be running in Houston with Mid-South. I hope that doesn't ruffle any feathers. Sorry for hijacking the thread, but I thought this was all inclusive for running towns.

That would be great. I will be upfront about the NWA stuff. I know it would be difficult to try and hide the fact that I have ties to Beast. I know Mid South isn't "part" of the NWA, but there's no reason that the two parties can't work together. I would like to showcase NWA talent as Watts did in real life. I know he had a great relationship with Flair and there was plenty of NWA title defenses on Mid South. I think this will be the beginning of a great working relationship.

As with these three Superdome dates: SUPERDOME EXTRAVAGANZA - 9/24 SUPERDOME EXTRAVAGANZA - 11/5 SUPERDOME EXTRAVAGANZA - 12/17 I will be open to holding other regional contests and bigger matches for any promotions that would like this kind of a showcase. Just contact me and let me know what you'd like.

- For immediate release... From the desk of the "Cowboy" Bill Watts Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to address the recent concerns over the future of Mid South Wrestling. Here at Mid South, we rely on double tough wrestling with some of the best competitors in the world. Over the past 48 hours, I have been able to work with a very good friend of mine, Jim Crockett. We negotiated the transfer of talent, including his head booker, Low Blow. Under this new regime, myself and Low Blow have put together one of the most prominent schedules to showcase talent from all over the world. In the Mid South area, such stars as Ted Dibiase, the Junkyard Dog, The Wild Samoans, Don Muraco, and Mr. Wrestling II... these are men who are double tough and some of the biggest attractions anywhere in the world. Such names like Andre the Giant, Ricky Steamboat, Wahoo McDaniels, Bruiser Brody, Stan Hansen, and the Sheik have already lined up dates. As part of this team, we are also going to be working with Houston and running shows in the Sam Houston Coliseum. Those fans deserve great wrestling and we will give it to them. We will be taping television on Wednesday evenings and it will air on Saturdays at 4:30 on Channel 26, WGNO out of New Orleans and the closest affiliates in your local markets. We would like to let everyone know when Mid South will be coming to your area so that you can get advance tickets as soon as possible. Here are our upcoming television, Wrestling Spectacular, and Superdome Shows for 1983! Burrhead Jones can come to Mid South if we are snaking. -
I am looking to revamp Mid South and would like to look at some different directions. Ted Dibiase is the only one who is locked down, everyone else is up for discussion, let me know if you're interested.

I drafted Don Kent already. I hope it will be okay that I put up a new Mid South page and results page for the month of August.

Mid South formally selects Don Kent - so long as the ownership switch is final. -
Well that makes it official then right? If so, I have spoken to Beast and I will finish my commitment to JCP through the end of the month and Mid South will start fresh August 1st. If you have dates set with any Mid South talent, I ask that you please message me when they will be with you and what the return trade was. I am pumped for this opportunity.

When I first started the Territory Wars, I took over Mid South, I love the Territory and what it was for wrestling... I would plan on getting it back to that status.
-
My first question is whether Mid South is officially open, yes or no? If it is open, I would love to step in with that roster and take control. If it is open, I will definitely speak with Beast and discuss our plans moving forward. If someone has dates that are set for Mid South talent (WWF and others), I simply ask for your dates so I can make a plan accordingly. It is not my spot to ruin someone's plans, but simply send me a message and all will be worked out.

If mid south opens up as a free territory, there will not be a draft. -
I am kind of homeless (in transition) right now with spotty internet. Once I move, I will definitely contribute more.
