It was reported earlier this month that WrestleMania 2 would be held in the UIC Pavilion, however negotiations over the event have ceased due to closed circuit money. McMahon has since moved the show to the new Rosemont Horizon. This will be the new home of the WWF in Chicago and they will have their first show there on January the 26th headlined by Hulk Hogan taking on Stan Hansen with the WWF Championship on the line!

World Class Championship Wrestling Jan. 1986
LowBlowPodcast replied to GeneJackson95's topic in Promotions
One of the hottest shows on the market today... I like the forecast of what World Class brings to the NWA and the amount of talent you've got here. I am also very surprised and elated to see the Funks on top with the Von Erichs below them... if there was only a 3rd Funk who was a fake Funk to bring it to the trios... oh wait the Von Erichs wouldn't do that. Anyways...I think that it is time for the IceMan to get some serious love here and he is in a position to be a big star not named Von Erich while a guy like Ron Garvin continues to shine. Keep up the great work! -

I agree with others on the formatting of the midgard wrestlers. It makes it that much more important when a main event level guy gets on television and even more important when it is a competitive match. You have really taken MACW to a new level and have done some great work since joining! -
I appreciate all the feedback fellas. That's good to know you guys are reading and like the direction I'm going. I'm going to get around this weekend to getting more in-depth with everybody stuff and providing more feedback it's just been crazy with school starting back up. I think that we are on the verge of something really exciting and 1986 with everything and hopefully Primetime can be one of those fun events that will be a weekly staple. I do think that while the WWF did go with Monday Night Raw, in this era they missed out on the big time TV shows and studio tapings like world class or wcw.

Everyone has talked about Gino Hernandez and Barry Windham but I have got my eyes on you and Billy Jack… I am going to put you down for good! Bull Ganter w/ Superstar Graham defeated Rick Shields The Tonga Kid defeated Steve Lombardi -A good showcase for the returning Tonga Kid. He looks to be in tremendous shape. He gets an easy win with a big dropkick followed by a Samoan drop for the 3-count! The Mercenaries w/ Mr. Fuji defeated Jean & John Blackfield Gino Hernandez defeated Tom Shaw Barry Windham: I got a very important message at my home last week that told me in order to get an IC title shot… it comes down to me and Gino Hernandez. Well Gino… you said it last week that it was a done deal… well consider this your warning pal. When we get into that ring… I am going to show the world why I belong at the top and you are just another step! RUMBLE IN THE BRONX January 20th 1986 Madison Square Garden MAIN EVENT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP CAGE MATCH Demolition vs The Fabulous Ones © INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Billy Jack Haynes vs Randy Savage © w/ Elizabeth Andre the Giant vs King Kong Bundy w/ Bobby Heenan Plus a 30-MAN SPECIAL BATTLE ROYALE WWF Live 1/11 Boston, MA – Boston Garden MAIN EVENT WWF CHAMPIONSHIP Hulk Hogan vs Stan Hansen went to a double DQ Tito Santana & Andre the Giant defeated King Kong Bundy & The One Man Gang Ted Dibiase defeated Brutus Beefcake INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Randy Savage © defeated Dino Bravo Barry Windham vs Gino Hernandez went to a 30-minute draw! WWF Presents: Superstars of Wrestling Hosted By: Vince McMahon & Jesse ‘ The Body’ Ventura Matches from: Providence, RI – Civic Center -Jesse and Vince are putting over the big Prime Time show tomorrow. They announce that we’ll see Bret Hart vs Greg Valentine, Barry Windham & Manny Fernandez vs Rick Rude & Gino Hernandez, and an Intercontinental Championship match with Randy Savage taking on Dino Bravo. They also put over the big MSG show on January 20th throughout the show highlighting the big Special Battle Royal with 30-men and the tag team cage match! Sting defeated Jose Louis Rivera -The new kid on the block. He was known as the Blade Runner and continues to be known as that and Sting. No clear name but his intensity is real. He handles Rivera well enough here and finishes with a big splash in the corner and then goes up top and leaps for a big splash off the top for a roll up and 3-count! The crowd pops for the face painted phenom! Hercules w/ Slick defeated Bob Bradley -Hercules comes out with a new manager… (is that the 3rd in a couple of months?) Jesse puts over how this man is named Slick. He is from Kansas City and has got huge plans for Hercules and a couple of other names he will reveal when the time is right! Greg Valentine & The Fabulous Ones defeated Brady Boone, Mike Jacobs, & Erick Strong -A good six-man here as Jimmy Hart gets on and really pushes the big singles match tomorrow night with Bret taking on Valentine and the tag team cage match in MSG in a couple of weeks! Curt Hennig defeated Ken Campbell -Another solid showing for Curt Hennig. Jesse puts over how Hennig is in the King of the Ring Tournament in February… but more importantly he is in the eye of Bobby Heenan! Jesse says that Hennig would be smart to take Bobby’s offer and become the newest member of the Family! Hennig with the bridging suplex one more time here and he looks sharp and ready to strike! The British Bulldogs defeated Los Conquistadors -Davey Boy and Dynamite are back to a big ovation from the crowd. The Bulldogs look to be in tremendous shape and finish the Conquistadors off with a big powerslam/diving headbutt combo. They look as good as they did when they left if not better and the sky is the limit! RUMBLE IN THE BRONX January 20th 1986 Madison Square Garden MAIN EVENT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP CAGE MATCH Demolition vs The Fabulous Ones © INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Billy Jack Haynes vs Randy Savage © w/ Elizabeth Andre the Giant vs King Kong Bundy w/ Bobby Heenan Plus a 30-MAN SPECIAL BATTLE ROYALE WWF Live 1/12 Miami, FL – The Knight Center WWF CHAMPIONSHIP Hulk Hogan © vs Stan Hansen went to a double DQ Ted Dibiase won a battle royal for $15,000! TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The Fabulous Ones © defeated Demolition via DQ WWF Presents: Prime Time Wrestling Hosted by Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse the Body Ventura Matches from: Providence, RI – Civic Center Gorilla: Welcome everyone to Prime Time Wrestling! I am Gorilla Monsoon joined here with Jesse the Body Ventura! Jesse, this is indeed a happening… a new show… a special one hour edition here tonight… Jesse: All too often we see some of our top stars against up and comers… but tonight, we have got three matches that could main event any arena anywhere in the world Gorilla! Gorilla: That’s right Jesse… we will see the Hitman, Bret Hart taking on Greg Valentine and he will have the Colonel in his corner! Jesse: Jimmy Hart made the right choice with his men and he kicked the Harts to the curb… now he is going to send them down the river! Gorilla: Please… we’ve got a big tag team match with Barry Windham & Manny Fernandez taking on Gino Hernandez and Rick Rude! Jesse: Bobby Heenan has said that he is going to have the premiere family in 1986. It starts tonight with this audience and showing just what they’re made of… at the cost of Windham and Fernandez! Gorilla: And our big main event… the Intercontinental Championship is on the line… Dino Bravo challenges Randy Savage! Jesse: Savage has got a lot on his mind… he may be overlooking Dino but I doubt it… the champion is the best and there’s a reason! Gorilla: Plus, we will see the WWF Champion… Hulk Hogan! Right now let’s head to the ring! Bret Hart vs Greg Valentine w/ Jimmy Hart -Howard Finkel with the announcing here of both men. Jimmy Hart has got this crowd riled up in a big way! Valentine and Bret give the viewing audience on the USA Network a better glimpse at what the future of the WWF is going to look like. These guys pick up the pace for 12-minutes and they work their asses off. Gorilla and Jesse put it over in a huge way and talk about the possibilities of the Hart Foundation without Jimmy. We see both men get some offense but it is the heat that Valentine gets after working over Bret’s knee. He is looking to finish but Bret is able to break free. Bret is able to get some offense in and then an inverted atomic drop that pops the crowd as Valentine sells. Jimmy Hart gets up on the apron and distracts Bret but here comes Valentine and Bret ducks and tosses him into Jimmy and then grabs Valentine for a 1….2….3 roll up and victory! The crowd pops and Bret Hart rolls out of the ring. He walks over to Jesse and Gorilla up the aisle. -Gorilla and Jesse then interview Bret who puts over the match. He doesn’t have the skills to pay the bills yet but he gets it done and the shot of Valentine being escorted back by security is well worth it! *COMMERCIAL* -Gorilla and Jesse are back and they put over the big issue between Barry Windham and the Heenan Family. They put over the NO DQ Match from MSG. They talk about how the team of Hernandez and Rude have been together before… but they didn’t have much luck then when they faced Windham and Santana for the tag titles. Barry Windham & Manny Fernandez vs Gino Hernandez & Rick Rude w/ Bobby Heenan -One of the real highlights here as this contest has got a lot of history. Windham has been at odds with the Heenan Family for quite sometime and tonight he gets his buddy Manny to help him out. This one is a fun 8-minute contest but it is Bobby Heenan who shines. He is outside the ring stirring up the shit and causes Windham to miss a tag to Manny when Fernandez is watching Heenan instead of the action. Windham ends up getting the big tag to Fernandez who comes in and hits the ropes as Windham is slow to his feet and then Fernandez NAILS WINDHAM WITH THE FLYING FOREARM! OMG! Windham is knocked out as Rude, Hernandez, and Fernandez lay the boots to him. They are stomping and kicking away as Gino picks him up for a SLINGSHOT SUPLEX! The crowd is going nuts here. Fernandez then picks up Windham with Rude and they deliver a SPIKE PILEDRIVER! OH MY! Windham is laid out as we see Bull Ganter and Superstar Graham along with Tito Santana run out as the heels walk off. They join Jesse and Gorilla... -Jesse and Gorilla put over the action. Jesse is all about it and he is shaking everyone’s hands. Heenan is going wild putting over the Family. He says that Gino Hernandez is OFFICIALLY joining the King of the Ring tournament next month and he will win! He puts over King Kong Bundy and says that with the Ragin Bull, the Family is all but complete. There is one more spot and it belongs to Curt Hennig. He says that Hennig is the prime choice and he should be where he belongs. We see Windham being helped to the back and Prime Time has been explosive so far… when we come back… we will hear from Hulk Hogan! *COMMERCIAL* -We are back and at the announce booth Gorilla and Jesse welcome in Mean Gene Okerlund and the WWF Champion… Hulk Hogan!! Mean Gene: Hulk, welcome in here to WWF Prime Time Wrestling! Everyone wants to know just how you are feeling after the recent attacks from King Kong Bundy and just recently Stan the Lariat Hansen! Hulk Hogan: Well lemme tell you something Mean Gene. The last couple of months have been tough brother. I have had my ribs broken. I had my throat crushed by Hansen. Well brother… I am here… I am saying… come and get some more brother! Mean Gene: A lot of rumors are circulating… saying that Ted Dibiase purchased a bounty on you and Stan Hansen cashed it in. That along with the money he gave Bobby Heenan for the services of King Kong Bundy. Hulk… is the target on your back bigger than ever? Hulk Hogan: Mean Gene when you’ve got this title right here… this is the biggest target in the WWF brother. I am standing here saying come and test me! Stan Hansen, I know you from Japan brother. You and I have traveled the road brother…. And I am here saying you came to the WWF and brother the rules have changed. I am throwing it down right now… I don’t want to wait… I want to see you in that ring! Mean Gene: Hulk Hogan and Stan Hansen… surely that can be something special for the… wait just a moment… what in the… -HANSEN IS HERE! He comes out throwing that cowbell around and Hogan rips off his shirt! Gorilla and Jesse are putting this over as officials and agents run out. Pat Patterson gets rocked with a nice right hand from Hansen but other than that… nothing happens. Hogan and Hansen are jawing at one another and being held back! *COMMERCIAL* -We are back and Jesse and Gorilla are putting the night over in a big way. They announce that on February the 8th, at Saturday Night’s Main Event… it will be Hulk Hogan and Stan Hansen one on one! We will hear from both men more next week! We are going to finish things off with a big Intercontinental Championship contest… let's head to the ring. INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Dino Bravo vs Randy Savage w/ Elizabeth -A good finale on what has been an awesome night of action, matches, and angles. This one goes 11-minutes and it is a great showcase of both men. Savage is still heel and acting like it. Jesse is putting him over in a big way and says he should be next in line to face Hulk Hogan for the title. Gorilla agrees but also says that Savage has to hold on to the title and Bravo is putting forth a great effort tonight. The big moment sees Dino Bravo hoist up Savage over his head and toss him on the other side of the ring! Bravo comes with some big clotheslines and Savage goes out of the ring to the floor. Bravo comes to follow but Savage is able to counter and get the upperhand. He lures him back into the ring and sets him up for a big double axe-handle smash but goes for another and Bravo catches him! He puts him up in the airplane spin and Savage is out of it! Dino is looking to finish with the sidewalk slam but Savage goes behind and rolls him up with a handfull of tights for the 3-count! Savage steals it! He grabs the title and shows the world that he is willing to do whatever it takes to keep the title. -Jesse and Gorilla put the night over one more time. They talk about Savage and Bravo and Savage’s ability to keep the title. They put over the issue with Fernandez and Windham. They talk about how next week we will see the British Bulldogs right here on Prime time along with Tito Santana taking on Nikolai Volkoff and Billy Jack Haynes vs King Kong Bundy in the main event!

I like the addition of the UWF to the NWA to just stock up on the all around talent. I would like to see how some of the bigger names fit into the overall mix of talent. I'd say the Road Warriors definitely make a claim to be the top tag team in the alliance for sure with others right there to give them a fight. In terms of the storylines... the King of the Mountain has got a lot of eyes on it to b a legit game changer. I am looking for someone like a Dr. Death and Duggan to come out of this in a big way but wouldn't be surprised with some others making a big time name for themselves.

I really like to see the format of the shows. They are very easy to read and allows for growth with the characters which is the most important thing. You've got some names to bring into the fold with the NWA and MACW continues to be the standard bearer within the NWA. Keep doing work. -
I always loved this one

WWF News -Lots of roster movement in the WWF... in comes the Coming in... Tonga Kid (Back after a stint away... looking to b a possible teammate or mid card singles wrestler) Sika (wasn't really gone for too long... but back with Mr. Fuji) The British Bulldogs (gone for the past couple of months) The Midnight Rockers (back after a brief cup of coffee) Rick & Scott Steiner (Scott is a rookie and Rick has had a successful rookie year... both will be reporting elsewhere for the time being) Slick (Manager from Kansas City... said to be taking the role of Freddie Blassie) Lord Alfred Hayes (He'll be moved right to an announcer role to fill in with the upcoming television changes.) Going... Scott Casey MACW The Iron Sheik MACW the Sheepherders WWC The Fantastics Lutte Freddie Blassie Free Agent Staying around... Barry Windham has signed an extension with the WWF starting the new year. There is a lot of hype around his recent program with Rick Rude and he could be next in line for a title run given the title situation with Gino Hernandez & Randy Savage TV changes... The WWF will be expanding its television universe over the next couple of weeks. All FOUR... yes FOUR shows will be taped on Tuesdays with television tapings starting around 3pm and going until around 7 or 8pm. Here is how the shows will look... Wrestling Challenge Shown on Saturdays Hosted by Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby Heenan All-American Shown on Sundays Hosted by Gene Okerlund & Lord Alfred Hayes Superstars of Wrestling Shown on Sundays Hosted by Vince McMahon & Jesse Ventura Prime Time Wrestling Shown on Mondays Hosted by Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse Ventura On top of these four shows... the WWF will continue to broadcast on the MSG Network once every four weeks with their shows... Once every 8 weeks on PRISM for the Philadelphia Spectrum shows... Once every 8 weeks on NESN for the Boston Garden Shows. Needless to say there is a LOT of television out there for the WWF on top of the fact that there will be two NBC Saturday Night's Main Events between now and WrestleMania which itself will also be broadcast on closed circuit. This expansion is all in retaliation to the expansion of the NWA. With Lutte International, Mid Atlantic, World Class, World Wrestling Council, and now the UWF... the WWF has stiff competition all around the country and is looking to do anything they can to stay on top of the wrestling world. Who knows what they will do next?

WWF Live December 30, 1985 New York City, NY – Madison Square Garden Hosted by Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse the Body Ventura -A special video shows some of the top stars of the WWF as we cut to Jesse and Gorilla at ringside. They put over the HUGE night of action we’ve got. They put over SNME and talk about how that was a major turning point for some of these superstars. Jesse puts over how the holiday season may be over but there are still some season’s beatings to come! The Fantastics vs The Sheepherders -It what proves to be a fast contest… these guys go twelve minutes and put a lot of action out there for the crowd. The finish sees both teams head outside the ring and then it becomes an all out brawl. The referee tries to call for the bell but he gets thrown down by the Sheepherders. The Fantastics then take the brawl into the crowd as security and officials comes out. This has got out of hand but with a double DQ… this one is all done. Manny Fernandez & Curt Hennig vs The Hart Foundation w/ Jimmy Hart -A pretty good contest but the story unfolds with Jimmy Hart & the Hart Foundation. There have been a lot of issues with them but tonight it all comes to fruition. Outside the ring we see Jimmy Hart call out Greg Valentine & the Honky Tonk Man. They come out and join him and we see a great little showcase with Hennig and Bret… but it is just a taste. We see Bret go flying out of the ring to the floor. The referee is holding Hennig back and then out of nowhere it is Jimmy Hart with a huge SHOT on Bret Hart with the MEGAPHONE! Honky and Greg act as shields for this. The crowd is going nuts as is Gorilla. Jesse says he missed what happened. The referee continues to count as Jim Neidhart walks out and tries to help his partner as he missed what happened. The referee counts to 10 and the bell rings. Hennig and Fernandez win via countout but just as the Anvil is questioning Jimmy, Honky and Valentine come from behind and nail him! They are beating him down as the crowd is going nuts. Hennig and Fernandez come over to shake things off as Jimmy Hart has shown his colors here and the Hart foundation don’t appear to be under his guise anymore. Brutus Beefcake vs Gino Hernandez w/ Bobby Heenan -The action may slow down here a little bit but the heat continues. Gino is a furnace right now and Heenan continues to put the coals in. Beefcake is coming along and has got himself into great shape. He does some decent work in the ring but it just isn’t enough to do anything as Gino works him over in the biggest way and we see a hot shot suplex for the clean finish. Gino looks very strong and says he is coming for Randy Savage! Dino Bravo & Billy Jack Haynes vs Greg Valentine & The Honky Tonk Man w/ Jimmy Hart -Part two of this story unfolds here with Valentine & Honky working well enough together for a couple of minutes against Bravo and Haynes. The crowd comes unglued though when we see Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart com down and they pull Honky down and then Valentine and we get a brawl outside of the ring! It costs Bravo and Haynes the contest but the story is bigger. Officials and agents come out as this is pure chaos outside the ring. Gorilla and Jesse put it over in a big way as Bravo and Haynes cheer them on as they battle the Hart Family. NO DISQUALIFICATION MATCH Barry Windham vs Rick Rude w/ Bobby Heenan -This one has been building for quite some time. Windham and Rude have both busted each other open here in MSG and they get to it tonight. It is a NO DQ match and we see Rick Rude come out in jeans and cowboy boots as does Windham. This one is hard hitting and early on Rude is able to bust Windham open again after throwing him into the guardrail. This is a gusher and Windham is in a bad way. This one is only 11-minutes long but damn it is furious. Windham ahs to fight from behind and he mounts a big offensive flurry that is highlighted with a bulldog outside of the ring and Rude gets up and he is busted open now. Both men get back into the ring, beaten and bloodied… and then we go into the finish. Rude nails some big strikes and looks to go for the Rude Awakening but Windham breaks free and turns him for a BULLDOG but Rude pushes him away and Windham goes flying. Rude struggles over and picks him up for another Rude Awakening but Windham rolls through and then we see a backslide for the 1...2….3!!! The crowd with a big pop and it is Windham who has vanquished Rude! He holds his arm up but he’s lost a lot of blood. We see Heenan trying to help Rude who is in a serious way. TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP Demolition vs The Fabulous Ones © w/ Jimmy Hart -This is part 3 of the night that Jimmy Hart will never forget. This is a good contest with Demolition just beating the living shit out of the Fabs. They are great fodder for the overpowered and scary Demolition. Demo is able to once again throw them around the ring and make them look like they are on the cusp of being destroyed. Just like earlier though, we see the Hart Foundation come out and they are now after Jimmy Hart! They chase him around the ring and just as it looks like Demolition is going to win the titles Kiern and Lane jump out of the ring and make chase for Hart and the Foundation! Demo does win the contest via countout but the titles are not theirs. They are pissed here and show their frustration. Gorilla hopes they get another shot but it is Jesse who says that they need to blame the Hart Foundation for the loss! INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Tito Santana vs Randy Savage © w/ Elizabeth -Another contest that has been built and built for a long time but it is now time for it to come to fruition. We’ve seen them do battle before. We’ve seen the big 10-man elimination match. This one goes 29 of the 30 minute time limit. The match sees both men get some offense and goes at a very good pace. The finish sees Randy Savage looking to finish with the double axe handle from the top but Tito smashes him in the stomach and he flips over. Tito then waits and hits the ropes for a flying forearm! He makes the signal and goes for the Figure Four but Savage rolls through for the 1...2...3!!! Savage retains the title just as the time is running out! Savage grabs the belt and holds it high in the air. The crowd is giving him a little love here but nothing major. Tito gets a nice pop and Savage gives him a nod of respect as they go to the back. -Gorilla and Jesse take a couple of minutes to really put this main event over. It goes all the way back to Nikita and Hogan in the cage with Dibiase being revealed as the benefactor. Jesse and Gorilla think this will be the premiere event of the year and this match could sent a new height in professional wrestling! MAIN EVENT Hulk Hogan & Andre the Giant vs Ted Dibiase & The One Man Gang w/ Big Bossman -These guys go about 20-minutes and it is all it is cracked up to be. The best part is Jesse and Gorilla arguing about Dibiase and Hogan. The main course of the match sees Hogan and Andre doing some fun offense and Dibiase and Gang bumping around. The tide then turns with Gang and Dibiase beating the living hell out of Hogan. Hogan sells like a stud and looks as if all hope is lost… but then he makes the big tag and here comes Andre! The Giant comes in with a pair of big time headbutts and then he slams Dibiase in a huge way. Andre catches Gang and a big hip toss. Big Bossman gets up on the apron and here comes Andre with a big headbutt for him and breaks his glasses and even busts him open. The match is breaking loose as Hogan and Gang go outside the ring. A bloodied up Bossman even joins in as the referee is focused on Andre and Dibiase inside the ring. Out of nowhere...someone comes out of the crowd and gets into the ring and then runs and leaps at Andre... -STAN HANSEN! That’s Stan Hansen! He nails Andre with the Lariat and the crowd is going NUTS! Hansen and Dibiase are doubling up on Andre and even pick him up for a double suplex! Hogan slams One Man Gang outside the ring and then looks inside and he comes from behind and tosses Dibiase over the top rope. It is then Hogan and Hansen. They are eyeing one another up and then start hammering away at one another. Jesse and Gorilla say that the match has been thrown out the door. Hogan and Hansen are really going at it while Dibiase, the Gang, and Bossman all come in and start kicking away at Hogan but Andre is back up and he is evening the odds. Dibiase and company all leave the ringside area! Hogan and Andre are in the ring welcoming them back in for a fight. If this is any indication of what 1986 is going to be like… the WWF is going to go head over heels… pun intended. I have got some really big plans… it all starts with the King of the Ring… I think a crown would look good on this head… but then again what wouldn’t? Don Muraco w/ Mr. Fuji defeated Kenny Von Vaughn Don Muraco: It has been a long time coming but now is the time for the Magnificant One. I have spoken with Mr. Fuji about my future in the WWF and it is time for gold to find its way around my waist. Hulk Hogan… that means you are on the horizon. I am coming for you. I am going to ride that title wave all the way to the top and DESTROY YOU! The Fabulous Ones w/ Jimmy Hart defeated Burt Fuller & Rian Johnson Jimmy Hart: I have told everyone that I can handle having the tag team champions and the top contenders. The Hart Foundation have been my bread and butter… but the Fabulous Ones… they are the meat that makes the meal baby. With the tag champs I am set for life and the Harts… well they help make all that happen. On Monday night in Madison Square Garden… I am going to be there for them like I have always been! Dino Bravo defeated Ryan Stewart Dino Bravo: The winds of change are in the air here in the WWF. 1986 is on the horizon and that means big things for Dino Bravo. Tonight we see Gino with the Hot Shot Suplex for the 3-count and that’s all she wrote for Scott Casey. SPECIAL INTERVIEW Mean Gene: Fans last week on Saturday Night’s Main Event, we saw an orchestrated attack on the WWF Champion Hulk Hogan. I want to welcome him out here right now… the WWF CHAMPION… HULK HOGAN! Mean Gene: Hulk, I want to welcome you in here. I can see you are walking a little gingerly. You are favoring the ribs. I was there with you in the hospital. What is the prognosis and what will happen to this special match up on Monday Night in Madison Square Garden? Hulk Hogan: Well you know something Mean Gene… it felt like a wave came crashing on me the other night dude. It felt like that 500 ugly monster King Kong Bundy had extra weight on and just destroyed every single rib I have. The ribs punctured the lungs. The air was coming out of my body dude… but when it came crashing down… it hurt inside brother… but I took that deep breath. I looked out the crowd into the sea of Hulkamaniacs and I saw the tears flowing. They may have broken my ribs Mean Gene but they couldn’t break my heart. It is a heart that is fueled by the millions of Hulkamaniacs all over the world! Those fans got me right here tonight and those fans will get me to Madison Square Garden on Monday Gene! Mean Gene: A lot of fans are wondering just what you will do with heavy competition like Ted Dibiase, Gino Hernandez, and King Kong Bundy? Then you have the likes of the One Man Gang who you have to deal with on Monday Night. Hulk Hogan: Well the way I see it dude… you can look all across the WWF and see all the top contenders. Don’t forget guys like Tito Santana, Barry Windham, and Billy Jack Haynes. All of the top contenders want a shot at the WWF title and now Ted Dibiase has paid enough money to put a target on my back. He financed Bobby Heenan to bring in King Kong Bundy. I dare say he had something to do with Mr. Fuji bringing back Don Muraco and Hercules. Ted Dibiase… you call yourself the Million Dollar Man but brother you can’t buy these fans and you’ll never be able to buy this title! Mean Gene: Monday Night, Madison Square Garden, you will be there with Andre the Giant to take on Ted Dibiase and the One Man Gang… what is going to happen if you get hurt? Hulk Hogan: I don’t deal in what ifs Mean Gene… I am dealing in ABSOLUTES and brother on Monday night I am ABSOLUTELY guaranteeing that me and the biggest dude in the world, my brother Andre the Giant are going to walk down that aisle and beat the holiday out of Ted Dibiase and the One Man Gang so much that they won’t show their faces in the WWF until 1987 and WHATCHA GONNA DO TED DIBIASE WHEN HULK HOGAN AND THE MILLIONS OF HULKAMANIACS RUN WILD ON YOU! Mean Gene: Just like Joe Namath, Hulk Hogan is guaranteeing victory on Monday Night fans… don’t miss it in Madison Square Garden!
