  1. I noticed that on my computer, the chapter stops dont have any captions under the thumbnails. Is this happening for anyone else?
  2. HOF on Saturday Afternoon right before Mania wouldnt work at all. The speeches would have to be cut short to under 10 minutes to avoid an overrun (to say nothing of the inductors speeches), and it would have to be held in the same building as WM. Plus, none of the current roster (at least not the ones competing on night 1) would be able to attend as they'd be too busy getting ready for their matches that night. The only option I could see working is holding it on Friday morning and making it part of Axxess.
  3. Strangely, the WWE Youtube channel includes content not available on the network, including the 1989 Hacksaw Jim Duggan home video (yeah, it pretty much sucks, but the fact remains that they uploaded a Coliseum video to youtube but not the network).
  4. Intergender Match: Alundra Blayze vs the Purple Haze
  5. Dustin Runnels, during his "preacher" run didnt have music either.
  6. Am I the only one who'd like to see ECW (the WWE version) and the early years of NXT uploaded?
  7. So if the spoiler list is accurate, who inducts them? My guess: DDP: Jake and Hall Rude: Austin or Heyman (i'd like to see Jesse Ventura, but i dont think WWE trusts him with a live mic) Christian: Edge Natural Disasters: Jimmy Hart IRS: Dibiase Regal: Not sure who could induct him. It'd be nice to have whoever the current NXT champion is by that time to induct him as a tie-in to NXT. Heck, if push comes to shove, they could even get Bill Dundee (who managed him in WCW) to do it.
  8. If it means we can get "Take Me Home" for SNME again then I'd be all for Phil (You'd have to go through Philip Bailey for Easy Lover and WM1 though). Wonder who owns the rights to that music video he did with Warrior. But seriously (no pun intended), I think this is the year they finally get Cyndi Lauper.
  9. Also, if they had to, I could see them pulling off DDP as a headliner. He has lots of goodwill among wrestling fans for how he helped Hall and Jake, and he's even pretty mainstream (DDP Yoga was mentioned in non-wrestling magazines, and I mean as a legit fitness program, not just some novelty story about an ex-wrestler having his own Yoga program).
  10. Not to beat a dead horse, but Motorhead, though possibly a known name, never really crossed over into the mainstream (at least in the US). Outside of satellite/Internet radio and specialty metal shows on radio stations, they never got radio airplay, and even back in the 80s, werent being played on MTV outside of Headbanger's Ball. Plus, lets be honest, while HHH could talk about what Motorhead meant to him, the band members who show up to a HOF may not know enough about wrestling to tell stories about that (they probably saw it as just another gig).
  11. Sunny also briefly had a talk show segment in 1997 that was exclusive to Shotgun called "Undercover with Sunny" where Sunny would be in a bed on top of the ramp and interview wrestlers from the bed.
  12. Apparently, besides DDP and Rude, the other rumored inductees are: IRS Natural Disasters William Regal Christian
  13. Is Butch Reed on good terms with the WWE? Wouldnt mind seeing Doom in there.
  14. Only problem is that Motorhead have had numerous lineup changes throughout the years, with only Lemmy being the only consistent member. I suppose the lineup who recorded "The Game" (Lemmy, Phil Campbell, Mickey Dee) could show up (Well, except for Lemmy of course). Back on topic, I could seriously see JBL getting inducted.
  15. Bob Backlund ran for Congress as a Republican (makes me wonder how much of the Mr. Backlund character was based off of Backlund's real life views).
  16. You'd have to do one minute intervals, otherwise it would be over 100 minutes long.
  17. Ted Dibiase vs Curt Hennig could have been fun.
  18. For a topic idea, how about matches from around this timeframe (80s-mid 90s) that potentially could have happened but didnt?
  19. There was also a 1994 Summerslam Spectacular, but it was titled Sunday Night Slam. Here's the results: 8/1/94; Youngstown, OH; Beeghly Center 8/21/94 - featured an in-ring interview with WWF World Champion Bret Hart in which he discussed his steel cage title defense against his brother Owen at Summer Slam; the interview was conducted at a WWF Superstars taping: The Undertaker (w/ Ted Dibiase) defeated Sonny Rogers WWF IC Champion Diesel (w/ Shawn Michaels) pinned Typhoon in a non-title match at around 4:20 with a boot to the face and clothesline Bull Nakano defeated Heidi Lee Morgan (sub. for WWF Women's Champion Alundra Blayze) Razor Ramon defeated Todd Becker Bam Bam Bigelow & IRS defeated Bob Holly & 1-2-3 Kid Lex Luger pinned Crush with the running forearm after Crush became distracted by Ted Dibiase at ringside and here's the 1994 Survivor Series Showdown (also with the SNS name): 11/20/94 - featured Gorilla Monsoon & Stan Lane on commentary; included a video package highlighting Bob Backlund's loss of the WWF World Title in 1983, his title match against Bret Hart in July, the post-match attack on Hart, the many people Backlund had recently locked in the Crossface Chicken Wing, and the alteraction last week on Raw between Backlund and Hart; featured a Survivor Series event center with comments from Chuck Norris regarding his officiating duties in the Undertaker / Yokozuna casket match: The Smoking Gunns defeated the Heavenly Bodies (w/ Jim Cornette) at around the 14-minute mark when Billy pinned Tom Prichard with a crucifix into a sunset flip (Mega Matches 95) (11/8/94; Bushkill, PA) Davey Boy Smith defeated Owen Hart via disqualification at around the 11-minute mark when Bob Backlund attacked Smith and locked him in the Crossface Chicken Wing after Owen faked a leg injury; moments later, WWF World Champion Bret Hart knocked Owen out of the ring, ripped off Backlund's shirt, and attempted to lock him in the Sharpshooter until Owen pulled Backlund out to the floor (11/8/94; Bushkill, PA) Yokozuna (w/ Mr. Fuji & Jim Cornette) pinned John Chrystal at 1:06 with a uranage (11/7/94; Bushkill, PA)
  20. 4 pages and no mention of Owen/123 Kid from KOTR 94?
  21. I get the feeling the show was quietly cancelled. Either someone got upset over the content or (more likely) it wasnt recieving enough views.
  22. Thinking of this, I cant remember many "best buddies" of Hogan in WCW (pre-NWO of course) aside from Savage and Dave Sullivan. Hogan and Sting had kind of an alliance, but it was never that concrete, and i cant think of any other faces he teamed with. Then came the NWO, but that was a different thing altogether.
  23. Thanks for answering my question!
  24. They're currently uploading Smackdown 2005. Also, the Bischoff documentary is up.
  25. How about an episode discussing the "darker and edgier" direction WWF was heading in in 1991 (The Iraqi Slaughter angle, Taker trying to kill Warrior, Everything involving Jake Roberts, etc)? A Prime Time wrestling retrospective could also be a good idea for an episode (heck, you even use the prime time theme as the theme of your show).
