As far as your bad stuff, sometimes MJF tries too hard but he has an IT factor and just comes across as someone that you want to see get punched in the face. He has a lot in common with the Miz to be honest both good and bad. I’m hoping he can continue to grow and get even better in the ring, in the mic he’s already there. Dark Order were floundering until they got a leader, without Brodie they clicked as Hangman’s support group. After tonight, it might be time for them to go their separate ways. The crowd really likes John Silver and he’s fun to watch. Uno and Grayson can be a good tag team. Maybe there would be a good storyline there if they got involved with Malachi Black but I don’t know. Nila fills a role that I think is needed on the roster. If she goes, who’s your heel powerhouse in the women’s division?

Andrade just doesn’t do anything for me. Didn’t in WWE either. Darby is unique. I’ve enjoyed him and Sting together. Brit I’m not as high on as other people are but she has a great character and I definitely see why people are so high on her. I’m a big Thunder Rosa fan and hoping Rosa eventually gets the belt. Serena Deeb is definitely a good addition to the roster and nice to have around. The Young Bucks are fun. Lambert grated on me in the beginning but he’s grown on me. Inner Circle needs the big win tonight though. Lambert needs to get his comeuppance. Acclaimed aren’t bad. I could add a ton to the good stuff but I’ll just add that I love Eddie Kingston. I knew a little about him thanks to casually following ROH and Impact, but he’s one of my favorite wrestlers now. I’d honestly love it if they gave him a win over Punk, but a no contest/double DQ/double count out finish would not be a bad idea tonight to keep this going for a while.

Was watching at that point with my 10 year old son, trying to explain Jungle Boy. After me saying he’s basically like Tarzan or Mowgli from the Jungle Book my son says he doesn’t look tough enough. Lol maybe it’s the curly hair. He did laugh at the last name Fish. “He’s wrestling a Fish?” Good match though. Glad to see Jungle Boy get a win. Superkliq probably goes over this weekend.

The chant was my breaking point. I watched the last hour of Rampage (The Dwayne Johnson movie) on TNT before AEW Rampage.

Kind of a weird ending to Rampage. I guess because of the Countdown To Full Gear show they don’t have to treat it as a traditional go home show, but Matt Hardy and the Hardy Family standing tall after beating down the Best Friends just feels disconnected from everything else going on. Maybe they’ll do a follow up if Chaos shows up in AEW.

I like confident Adam Page. Foreshadowing that the Young Bucks probably will get involved in his match on Saturday though.

That Charlotte promo was a channel changer for me.

I haven’t bought an AEW PPV yet, but I’m seriously considering it for Full Gear. Gotta support my fellow Virginia native Adam Page.

Thank goodness Dynamite is back on Wednesday’s. Unfortunately I’ll be flipping back and forth between this and the World Series. Go Braves!

For me, it’s the difference between a guy that has been wrestling regularly and at the top of his game for the past 3 years since his forced retirement, and a guy who hadn’t wrestled for 7 years since his retirement. I’ve enjoyed both guys and they have both met my expectations, but the expectations for me were different for each. A better comparison might be Danielson’s first matches back from retirement vs Punk’s first matches back from retirement.
-
I really hope they don’t go that route with Page. The last thing he needs is to become Rodimus Prime.

Not sure if there’s anything new here but Ron Fuller has a Southeastern Rewind YouTube Channel. This is the latest upload.

Kind of a combo of the US and TV title, since you’re regularly getting title defenses on TV and featuring guys that aren’t at the top but are just right under that level.
-
If they aren’t going to have the tournament all be top guys, there are kayfabe ways to explain it. Maybe have some of the spots be a random draw or computer picked. Without going back to the heel GM/Owner trope, you can have Omega and Callis exert some influence in the brackets, putting Danielson against a murderers row of opponents like Dustin, Eddie, and Mox while filling the rest of the tournament out with guys that aren’t a threat. Either Danielson gets the hell beat out of him getting through those three guys, or if one of them wins it’s all people Omega has either beaten or has the confidence he can beat.

I’m with you. Multi person ladder matches should be retired for a while.

So are these interviews going to be one long defense of why it’s ok for them to show their penis to whoever they please? https://rajah.com/node/brock-lesnar-ric-flair-appear-guests-joe-rogans-podcast

WWE TV 09/27 - 10/03 BIG MEATY MEN ARE SLAPPING MEAT

I’m not sure how Vince has resisted having Kofi Kingston win King of The Ring all these years. -

That was nice. I’ve always liked Xavier going back to the TNA days. -
I love Miro, but so happy to see Sammy win. It’s just nice to see a babyface go over, especially since the company was all heel champions up to that point. - edit: except the Lucha Bros. Have they defended the titles since they won them though?

John Silver makes me think of what Puck from Alpha Flight would be in real life.

This crowd is great. Not sure if it’s them or how they are miked but seems to be one of the most consistently loud ones I’ve heard lately.
-
What a motley crew indeed. (Or a Moxley crew) I like the pairing of Mox, Eddie, Darby, and Sting, even if it was probably a one time thing for a nothing match. Makes me wish AEW had some version of old school Survivor Series matches or they had hot enough feuds to justify a Blood and Guts match.
-
I guess he could have talked about all the times the Horsemen beat up Dusty Rhodes instead.
-
Arn giving Cody hell and I’m loving it.

AEW has made me a huge Eddie Kingston fan.
