That might have been Nakamura's strongest performance since he was called up. Very strong match and a great Rusev performance.

I can't imagine not falling asleep during an Orton vs Roode match but I'll try to catch some of this tonight
-
The strange thing is, Roman doesn't even look super huge and they don't show off his body

Am I the only one who doesnt care all that much what enhancers wrestlers use?

So this guy's big story is that Reigns violated wellness at the exact time that he was suspended for wellness violation. Great.

I caught one GIF of that Okada vs Ospreay match and that was enough to tell me that I don't need to see it.

I'm sure for plenty it was simply a case of wanting to believe. If it had been AJ or someone there would be a lot more 'wait for the evidence, if there is any.'
-
It would be hilarious if Sheamus ended up in as Most Overrated and Cesaro ended up as Most Underrated

Officially they all get ten grand and the winner gets a hundred. So it'll go to their own front charity.

Big Show to me is a second from headline guy in a HoF year. He's done everything, been around forever, is respected by everyone and seems like a great guy but I definitely see him as semi-main in the year Taker or someone goes in as opposed to a headline inductee.

Genuinely struggling to think of a more abject period for WWE television than this iteration of Smackdown.
-
Braun Strowman should definitely be doing jobs to Jimmy Uso 🙄
-
The fact that he's gone from being drafted in as a last minute replacement for Rey at a disastrous 5 Star event in Belfast a few days ago (they booked an 8,000 arena and sold barely 500 tickets by the looks of it) to supposedly being in talks with WWE is hilarious to me though. I literally could've gone 15 minutes down the road and got a free ticket to see this guy and I didn't bother.

Del Rio has a ton of baggage and absolutely no upside. And what a way to shit on Paige after she got her act together, got back in the ring and has now suffered through a serious injury. Anyone with any integrity in that company would be opposing the idea of him coming back as hard as they can.
-
How ironic that he's still the biggest star of the company. We'll see how the Ronda superpush goes over the next year he I think they'll look to get her to that position

I mean Rollins and Reigns have tanked ratings to historic lows in a very short period of time. Rollins more than Reigns but you can't really argue they are doing well. But ratings got lower under Cena, under Punk and Bryan and now with these guys. The trajectory has been down for a long time. There are a number of factors in that - the general decline of TV, availability of clips on YouTube, stale environment, super long shows, bad booking etc - but when we always say how the brand is the star above any of the performers it's hard to put the blame for ratings on any one or two acts in the same way as used to happen unless there's evidence that the segments they appear in tank dramatically. It's also worth nothing that Roman's segments do well on YouTube and he's in amongst the most watched performers there along with Braun, Brock and Cena.

If Brock is to be seen again, it should be to job clean to Braun at Summerslam.

Arguing that Reigns never really got over is one of the most ridiculous things Ive seen in a while

In fairness, I can unterstand why some aren't into the booking of a Reigns because they're not consistent enough in letting him be a bad ass with the swaggering demeanour. The way he acted just after the Mania where he beat HHH was probably his best character but that only comes out now and again. The promo on Monday was a great way of getting back to that though. But I'm really bemused by people acting as if there's no reason to be excited for this match and that there's been no build for it. The first Mania match between the two is one of my favourite WWE matches ever and there's been low key build for a rematch underlying a lot of the last few years. I swear, people complain that WWE beat you over the head with stuff then completely misinterpret things when they try to be a bit more subtle - e.g. Jason Jordan's slow build heel turn where people were still acting as if he was a mispushed babyface a month into the turn
-
How? Does he say , Brock is so lazy he insisted on Kane jobbing in 35 seconds in a match that wasnt on tv and most of you have no idea what Im talking about, right? It would also be a ridiculous line of kayfabe arguement to say that Brock is bad cause he can beat his opponents in 30 seconds and Roman is good cause it takes him 20 minutes.
-
Well I think theres already a perception in some quarters that Brock is lazy and doesnt care etc.
-
Is there at least a chance that WWE is perfectly happy for this sort of booking to recieve a backlash because it puts heat on Brock and furthers the narrative they're pushing with the Reigns match
-
In fairness, I think it's probably implicit that John Cena should have higher standards than Zack Ryder
-
I wonder if Dave loves Michael Bay movies

On the Ronda reporting, I agree that a Charlotte match should be held off til she has more ring time. Itll be interesting to see how they book her post-Mania because the instinct to me would be to not have her work TV matches and maybe even hold off her first singles match til Summerslam. And her first singles match should be a 6 minutes Goldberg vs Lesnar style bombfest-sprint.
