Great Card -Here comes Al Perez! -Love Bob Sweetan. No matter where or when, he gives a great fight! -It seems like the Road Warriors are ready to go after their championship again -One match in the AWA and Steamboat has a belt! Perfect.... Rose is also greatwhen he loses. He is a perfect wrestler for any thing you want of him. -OMG is literally scary and you really showed that. A 6'10 400 pounder with a steel chain. -Perfect win for Patera. You have made him a perfect champion. -I have said this before. You did Hulk better than any other promoter.

USWA NEWS: -There are rumors that Ted Turner is hoping to expand more into the gulf states than just Florida and Louisiana. He is also having research done into the New Mexico and Arizona area. It is unsure is the eastern expansion would center around Eddie Graham. It is no secret that Turner would love to rejoin with Robert Fuller and feels that Southeastern Championship Wrestling did not give TBS a fair shot. There are also rumors that if there was a western expansion that Fritz would be the man there and it might include a brand name change to USWA: Southwest. -Behind the scenes it is rumored that Mr. Wrestling II is not happy playing the heel manager role that he has fufilled as of late. He knows that he is at the end of his career and would like to leave hearing the cheers of the crowd. - Ernie Ladd is also at the end of his career and the company is ubsure what direction to go with him. They may use him as a manger, bodyguard type or a TV commentator. There is also talk of one last run in the ring and they are unsure if that would be as a heel or a babyface. -The company is unsure what direction to take Curt Hennig in. Since losing Baby Doll back to her old promotion, Hennig has just been kind of hanging in the wind. There has been talk that he may even be put on the trading block which would mean the Texas portion of the USWA would need a new champion. -There also seems to be a problem with the violence of Kevin Sullivan and his Army of Darkness. Turner is concerned that his character may not fit a national promotion. He s also listening to offers on Sullivan.

USWA WRESTLING: TEXAS 7/7/1984: WTBS 7:05-8:05 TAPED IN DALLAS, TEXAS BILL MERCER welcomes all the fans to USWA Wrestling here in Texas from the World’s most Famous Wrestling Arena, the Sportatorium in downtown Dallas. Mercer gives a rundown of tonight’s show but says he would first like to show everyone the ending from the title match at the Cotton Bowl between Kerry Von Erich and Jerry Lawler. Fritz Von Erich: “Watching that makes me sick”. First and foremost, Michael Hayes and the rest of the Freebirds. I mean to set Kerry up like that. Pretending to care about the death of my son, David and then turning on us on the most emotional night of our lives. Next, Jerry Lawler. You are a disgusting, self-centered human being who just uses his wealth to get what he wants. There is no denying you have skill but it is your actions outside the ring that infuriates me. In fact, I demanded Jerry Lawler be here tonight and now I demand that he comes out here right now!” Lawler struts out to maybe the loudest boos the Sportatorium has ever heard but Lawler is all smiles. Fritz threatens to suspend him for one year for his actions at the David Von Erich Memorial. Lawler responds: “Listen up old man. I know that most people don’t stand up to you and just let you run this promotion to aid the careers of your talentless sons but I am not most people. I am the King! I know you already went to the rest of the members of the USWA Board of Directors and were not given the permission to suspend me. You were informed that the match was a no disqualification match and that it doesn’t matter that I paid the Freebirds a large sum of money to set up that dumb boy of yours.” Fritz: “You arrogant, pompous ass. You may be right. I can’t suspend you. I can’t even fine you but I can demand that you work to the contract that you have with the USWA and that allows me to put you in any match, anytime I like and if you run back home to Memphis and miss a title matches, trust you me. I will fine you! I will suspend you. I will strip you of that USWA Title that you have. I know you don’t really care about that World Title. You say the USWA is a second rate organization. We hear all you say when you are back home in Memphis but for some reason you keep coming back. My guess it is for the money or because Memphis is not all it is cracked up to be. Remember, miss one match and I will fine you the largest sum of money in the history of professional wrestling. Lawler: “Threats and more threats. I can beat anyone you put in front of me. This is a one horse town and I am the only horse you got.” Fritz: “Well I am glad to hear you say that. Tonight, you will wrestle Kerry in a real match. No Special Bought Referee. No interference from the outside. If you happen to win by disqualification. I will strip you of that title and one thing is certain. If you are not the champ, you will no longer be paid like the champ.” Fritz: “Last thing. I will DEAL with the Freebirds later tonight.” Fritz stomps off and Lawler is left speechless for once in his life as Bill Mercer tells him he better go get ready for his title shot with Kerry Von Erich. Mercer hands it off to ring announcer Marc Lawrence for our first bout. MATCH: WAHOO MCDANIEL & DICK MURDOCH VS THE NIGHTMARES Mercer puts over the fact that Wahoo was here just here to do a quick interview but Dusty Rhodes, Murdoch’s normal partner is running late due to car trouble. Wahoo comes to the ring in his full Native American gear while Murdoch comes out Cowboy hat and all. Mercer makes a little joke about Cowboys and Indians being on the same side and then the match is underway. It is a good opening bout going about 5 minutes where Wahoo shows off some nasty Tomahawk chops and the end comes with a Brain Buster by Murdoch on Nightmare #1. The most interesting thing about this match was that when it was over, The Red Assassins (Alexis Smirnoff in a Russian Mask and Fidel Sierra, the Cuban Assassin) come to ring side and have a little stare-off with Wahoo and Murdoch but nothing really comes of it. ------------------------------------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS------------------------------------------ When we come out of break, Bobby Duncum and the rest of the Outlaws, Ron Bass and Black Bart are standing at the interview desk. Bobby Duncum is hot and screaming that something needs to be done about Dusty Rhodes who knocked each of them in the head with a cowbell the other day in the Cotton Bowl. He demands that Rhodes be suspended and how hypocritical the USWA is. He continues by saying if it was any of his men that did this, they would be suspended for at least a year. Bill Mercer responds by asking who threw the cowbell into the ring in the first place. (It was Duncum if anyone had missed it) Duncum refused to answer the question and just keeps rambling on about the corruption of Dusty Rhodes. Mercer has tired of the interview and sends the Outlaws to the ring for their match with PYT. MATCH: THE OUTLAWS (RON BASS AND BLACK BART) with BOBBY DUNCUM VS PYT (BRICKHOUSE BROWN AND SWEET BROWN SUGAR) PYT had the fans dancing in their seats as the came out to the sounds of Michael Jackson and “PYT”. Brickhouse and Sugar can really dance and the fans were loving it. As for the match, it was a dandy. It is back and forth for about 8 minutes when Bobby Duncum tried to get involved by getting up on the apron. PYT double drop kicked him off the apron to the delight of the fans. But this gave Black Bart time to recover and clothesline line Sweet Brown Sugar. He went for the running leg drop which he believed would have given them the victory. WHAM! Brickhouse had climbed to the top rope and made a perfectly timed jump and drop kicked Bart right in the face when he leaped for the leg drop. There was some confusion as to who was the legal man in the ring but Brickhouse covered Bart for the 3 count. Ron Bass could not make the save as he was tending to Duncum on the outside and was surprised when the ref raised the hand of PYT! ------------------------------------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS------------------------------------------ INTERVIEW: ARMAND HUSSEIN Hussein comes out in some type of Saudi robe, white towel around his head and rounded tip leather boots. This is the first time the fans of Texas have seen him and they do not like what they see. Hussein seems very comfortable being booed by the fans and just says that each and every one of you will rue the day that the H&H Corporation was formed. He goes on to remind us that the H&H is the joining together of Humperdink and himself. Bill Mercer reminds him that he promised every one that you would unveil his wrestling stable to us tonight. Hussein says that members of The Machine are not here tonight but would love to show a quick video of 2 of them. SUPER STRONG MACHINE and SUPER GIANT MACHINE The video shows two really impressive wrestlers in blue masks with a silver lining instead of holes for the eyes. One of the wrestlers appears to be about 6’0 tall and extremely muscular while the other is a giant who looks to be nearly 7 foot tall. The footage shows them basically decapitating one Japanese wrestler after another. The muscular one hits all kinds of crazy suplexes, powerbombs DDT’s and lariats while the most impressive thing might have been a Missile Dropkick from the 7’0 giant. Bill Mercer really hypes up what he saw and asks if he thinks these wrestlers will be able to handle Texas wrestling. He continues saying that Japan is one thing but Texas is a completely different ball game. Hussein just laughs and walks away. Bill Mercer again sends it over to Marc Lawrence who introduces our next bout which is a women’s contest. MATCH: MADUSA MICELI VS VELVET McINTYRE Now these girls can really wrestle and the fans love the action but the most interesting thing was that the Texas Heavyweight Champion, Curt Hennig joined Madusa at ringside. At one point during the match, Hennig went over to Bill Mercer and Mercer asks why he was out here. Hennig says that Madusa had agreed to help him in the Cotton Bowl to stop that skank, Sherri Martel and now he is out here to pay back the favor. Hennig goes back over to ringside and sees Madusa gain the victory with an Airplane Spin. Just as the match ends, we see Hussein and the two men from the video rush out and attack Curt Hennig. The beating they give him answers all questions as to their size, strength and ability. Madusa could do nothing to slow these two men down. The crowd is awed at these two monsters. PYT rushes out to try and stop the attack and now it is 3 on 2 in favor of the fan favorites but there is still nothing they can do. The Machines throw around PYT like they are little gnats. Brown tried to dropkick Super Giant but he shrugged it off like it never happened. Then Super Giant connected with a standing dropkick of his own right to the temple of Sugar. To the relieve of all in the Sportatorium, the Machines walked off set. Mercer really hypes up how scary those two men were. ------------------------------------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS------------------------------------------ As we come out of break, Fritz Von Erich is in the center of the ring Fritz: “And now to deal with the Freebirds.” The crowd goes wild. “Hayes, Gordy and Roberts, get your butts down to this ring right now!” There is a moment’s pause before we hear Lynard Skinnard and “Freebird” blare from the speakers. The crowd is really agitated now and can’t wait to see Fritz hammer the “Birds.” The Freebirds make their way to the ring and when they get there, they have smug smiles cross their faces and are wearing their newly won World Title belts. Fritz begins by going through what happened in the Cotton Bowl and then explains that since all three of you were involved, you are each being fined $10,000. The crowd goes wild as Hayes begins to argue. He tries using Lawler’s reason that this was a No DQ match and anything goes and therefore they can’t be suspended. Fritz is not buying it and says that since Hayes was acting as a referee who was an agent of the USWA and therefore must be held to higher standard. THE FINES STAY. Hayes responds that nobody treats the Freebirds that way and if you want $10,000 from each of us, you are going to have to come and collect it and that might be hard as you might not be going anywhere for a while. Hayes motions to the back as if to call out more people as Buddy Roberts pulls a pair of handcuffs from his pocket. The three quickly grab Fritz and handcuff him to the rope and begin to beat on him. All of a sudden the crowd moans as Lawler is running to the ring and we also hear Jim Mercer screaming he can’t believe his eyes. Coming to the ring with Lawler is none other than the 6’9, 320 pound Ernie Ladd. Lawler and Ladd stand guard outside the ring as the beating continues inside the ring. The crowd explodes as the 3 Von Erich brothers rush to their father’s. Bam Bam Gordy leaves the ring and joins Lawler and Ladd on the outside. The Von Erichs can’t even get into the ring as they are met half way up the ramp and there is a 3 on 3 battle raging. Hayes and Roberts just continue the beat down of Fritz on the inside. Hayes has his boot off and is beating him in the head with it. Fritz is busted wide open. Once again the crowd explodes as Wahoo and Murdoch head to the ring. Hayes and Roberts leave the ring and now it is 5 on 5 outside on the Sportatorium floor. Fritz is just slumped over, blood all over the place and is still handcuffed to the ropes. All of a sudden, we hear Bill Mercer explode “and here comes the American Dream, Dusty Rhodes. The Dream gives the fan favorites the advantage and he is like a house a fire. Rhodes is throwing wild haymakers and elbows and soon the villains leave the floor. Everybody rushes into the ring to aid Fritz who is in a bad way. Somehow they get the cuffs off him and we see Kerry yelling for a doctor. They try to get Fritz to his feet but he just collapses. Mercer is heard saying that the ambulance has just arrived. They carry Fritz to the back and it is obvious that Fritz will be accompanied by his sons to the local hospital. All of a sudden we see Jerry Lawler in the ring with a microphone. “Mission accomplished. I guess we won’t be having a title match here tonight.” Kerry looks at Dream and with one nod of his head gives Rhodes permission to take his title match. Rhodes rushes to the ring and from out of nowhere, referee Rick Manning is in the ring calling for the bell. Bill Mercer is wild on the microphone as Rhodes doesn’t care about winning and is just beating Lawler like he has never been beat before. With TV time running out, Rhodes hits Lawler with repeated Bionic Elbows to the top of the head. Lawler just crumples to the mat but Rhodes drags him up by the hair and connects with a Stardust Piledriver. Rhodes looks at the fans for their approval and they basically give him permission to take the World Title that rightfully belonged to Kerry Von Erich. Rhodes covers Lawler and gets the 1…2…3. Rhodes doesn’t celebrate as we here Mercer saying we have a new USWA World Champion. Mercer signs off and hopes that Fritz is okay. So long from Dallas, Texas.”

USWA WRESTLING: MID-SOUTH 7/7/1984: WTBS 6:05-7:05 TAPED IN SHREVEPORT, LOUISIANA “Hello again everybody. Welcome to Mid-South Wrestling from Shreveport, Louisiana and the Irish McNeil’s Boys Club here on WTBS. I am Jim Ross and my partner and President of Mid-South Wrestling is Cowboy Bill Watts.” The show starts with Cowboy Bill Watts informing the viewers that Ernie Ladd will not be suspended by the USWA for his actions in the David Von Erich Memorial where he took off his mask revealing that he was the Black Panther. Ernie Ladd was serving a 30 day “cooling off” period from his feud with Hacksaw Butch Reed and was not supposed to be involved in any Mid-South doings over that period. Watts explains that the 30 days had ended the day before and that there is no way to go back in time and prove that Ernie Ladd was the Black Panther all along and because of this there will be no suspension. Jim Ross breaks in and says “speaking of that match in the Cotton Bowl, that was some ending. Let’s go the video tape in case any of you had missed it. As the video tape comes to an end we see that Junk Yard Dog is at the interview desk. Jim Ross asks him if he has had a chance to speak to the North American Champion, Hacksaw Butch Reed about this incident. JYD responds that he has not seen Hacksaw Reed or Ernie Ladd for that matter since that day in the Cotton Bowl. JYD says he wants to speak to Reed before he makes any decisions. He says that he has been in major matches before where you just lose all control and maybe Reed just had one of those days and he is willing to forgive Reed if that is all this was. He finished by saying the Dog is a loyal Dog but just don’t cross me or you will get the teeth. JYD gives a few quick little barks as he heads to the ring for today’s first match. MATCH: JUNK YARD DOG VS ROGER KIRBY A nice opening match that has the crowd going from the first sounds of “Another One Bites Dust.” JYD and Kirby exchange momentum for about 5 minutes before JYD connects with the THUMP (powerslam) for the victory. ------------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS----------------- As we come out of break, Cowboy Bill Watts says that he recently had the “pleasure” of meeting Sir Oliver Humperdink at his mansion and what he saw there may greatly impact not only the Mid-South but all of the USWA. Jim Ross asks if he could explain this last comment as Watts says he can do even better than that as he had the entire interview taped and here are the highlights. Sir Oliver Humperdink and another man are sitting in pool side drinking some special concoction while servants are running around doing all kinds of work. Jim Ross really hypes up how dangerous the merger of Humperdink and Hussein could be. He explains that while many of you may not be familiar Hussein but says that he is one of the most ruthless men in all the business. Jim Ross turns us back to the ring for our next match and the fans really pop again as Tommy “Wildfire” Rich heads to the ring. MATCH: TOMMY RICH VS JOSH STROUD Jim Ross explains that Rich is red hot after he found out that one of the members of the Mr. Wrestling Club was actually Buzz Sawyer in a mask. He reminds the fans that Rich and Sawyer was one of the biggest feuds in all of wrestling history and it appears that after a very short cooling off period, it is back on. As for the match, Rich and Stroud start a bit slow with some technical maneuvers but when Stroud tried to sucker punch Rich, Wildfire went off and made quick work of Stroud. The end came after a Lou Thesz Press but as soon as the referee made the 3 count, you could hear a moan from the crowd. Buzz Sawyer, The Purple Haze and Sir Oliver Humperdink hit the ring and begin to beat on Rich while Kevin Sullivan went right to the interview desk and grabbed the microphone. Sullivan: “I told you that Sawyer was perfect for the Army of Darkness. He is as crazy as I am and with the help of Mr. Wrestling II we set up your All-American Country Boy. Tommy Rich, you have been warned, get out of Mid-South now or suffer the consequences. As for the rest of Mid-South, you have not seen the last statement of our power. You soulless waste of space will just have to wait and see what Hell awaits you tonight.” While all of this was going on, The House of Humperdink was taking care of Rich until Jim Ross announces that help is on the way. The Fabulous Ones and JYD rush to the ring but Sullivan calls off his troops and they escape behind the curtain. Tommy Rich is in a bad way but pushes off the aid and walks out under his own power to the roar of the crowd. Rich is as mad as we have ever seen him. ----------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS--------------- Jim Ross begins the segment by informing the viewers that the Sheepherders lost their World Tag Team Championship in the Cotton Bowl to the Fabulous Freebirds and that they will have their rematch this week in San Antonio, Texas at the HemisFair Arena. Cowboy Bill Watts joins in by saying that he was a little surprised at how easy the Freebirds defeated the Sheepherders and that they are really going to have to step up their game if they are going to win back their belts. Watts continues by explaining that the Fabulous Ones have been on a roll of late and that they believe they deserve a title shot no matter who the champions are. Jim Ross says well we are going to get a look at the former champs right now in what they hope will be a tune up for their rematch. MATCH: THE SHEEPHERDERS VS TED ALLEN & JOE LIGHTFOOT With Allen and Lightfoot already in the ring, we hear Jim Ross begin screaming, Ross: “Good God almighty, he’s back! Ladies and Gentlemen it’s Jonathan Boyd. He is leading Butch Miller and Luke Williams to the ring. For those of you not familiar with Boyd, he is a former member of the Sheepherders but had broken his leg in a car accident last year. He is brutal. He is maniacal. He is scary mean.” As for the match, pure brutality. Allen and Lightfoot are tossed from pillar to post and sometimes out of the ring. Once on the floor, one of the Sheepherders would distract the ref and Boyd would use that cane he was carrying as a weapon. The end came after about 4 minutes. Miller put Lightfoot out of his misery with one last body slam for the victory. All 3 Sheepherders went to the interview desk where they did not even wait for a question. All three took turns warning the Freebirds that they are in for the beating of their lives and then Jonathan Boyd said “and Fabulous Ones. You are next. We have some unfinished business which needs finishing.” -------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS----------- As we come out of break, Mr. Wrestling II is at the desk where Watts questions what in the hell went on over the past few weeks with the Wrestling Club and Buzz Sawyer and all of that. Mr. Wrestling II responds: Sometimes it is fun to play with the Devil. Kevin Sullivan set this plan in motion months ago when he had Sawyer and Humperdink pretend to be at odds with each other. It was all a rouse to get rid of Tommy Rich. Next to me, nobody hates that pretend wrestler Tommy Rich more than Buzz Sawyer and he jumped at the idea. While it did not work out perfectly yet, Tommy Rich better have eyes in the back of his head as The Army of Darkness is all over his butt and if there is anything left, my new protégé will take care of that. Watts: “What new protégé? Mr. Wrestling II: “Let’s just go to the ring and you can see for yourself.” Watts: “Fair enough.” MATCH: MIKE MASTERS with MR. WRESTLING II VS JOHNNY MANTELL As we head to the ring, we see Mr. Wrestling II leading one of the most muscular wrestlers in all of USWA Wrestling. As for the match, Masters just has his way with Mantell and the end comes in about 3 minutes with a violent Swinging Full Nelson. Both Watts and Ross admit that they were extremely impressed with Mike Masters and his debut here on Mid-South Wrestling. They also hype up the fact that Tommy Rich might be in some trouble with both The Army of Darkness and Mr. Wrestling II after him. The music starts to blare ZZ Topps and “Sharpe Dressed Man” and Jim Ross says it is time to get right back to the ring. The girls are all going wild as Steve Keirn and Stan Lane head to the ring for their match. MATCH: THE FABULOUS ONES VS THE INVADERS As the Fabulous Ones finish off their entrance, Ross is really hyping up the Invaders and reminds us that they have been the tag team champions in the WWC over 15 times and that the Fab Ones will have their hands full. Ross was not kidding as the match is a great display of action. All four men really know what they are doing and have tag team wrestling down to a science. In the end, The Fabulous Ones were able to overcome the dirty tactics of the Invaders when Sweet Stan Lane connected with a Russian Leg Sweep on Invader #1 and gained the victory. Lane and Keirn went to the interview desk where they were congratulated by Cowboy Watts and then he asked them what they thought of the return of Jonathan Boyd and his claim that they have unfinished business. Keirn and Lane take turns saying that they believe they are the best tag team in the USWA and it doesn’t matter to them if it is The Freebirds or the Sheepherders but they are going win the World Titles. Watts pushes them to answer the question about what Boyd was taking about. Steve Keirn just smiles and asks Watts if he saw the cane Boyd was using tonight. Watts: “yes” Keirn: “Well he may claim it is from a car accident but we know we are the reason he needs that cane to walk and that is all I am going to say about that” Jim Ross: “Wow, I think business is about to pick up here in the tag team division.” -------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS----------- MATCH: HOT STUFF EDDIE GILBERT with SHERI MARTEL VS JR HOGG Jim Ross hypes the debut of Hot Stuff Eddie Gilbert and Sheri Martell to Mid-South. “Hot Stuff” by Donna Summers blares as the two head to the ring as cocky as ever. As for the match, Gilbert has some difficulty with the size of Hogg and the match seems a bit stiff but it only lasts about 2 minutes before we hear Jim Ross. ROSS: “OH MY GOD! SULLIVAN, PURPLE HAZE, BUZZ SAWYER AND SIR OLIVER HUMPERDINK ARE RUSHING TO THE RING. JR HOGG IS IN DEEP TROUBLE.” Instead, the 3 go right for Eddie Gilbert and throw him out of the ring. From there, the beat him to what appears to be within an inch of his life. They throw him into walls, ring posts, steel barricades. Ross: “Will somebody stop this. Enough is enough.” The beating continues as Ross and Watts are confused as to what is the beef between Sullivan and Gilbert. We see Sheri is almost crying as there is nothing she can do. Gilbert is busted wide open and Ross is saying that Sullivan is going to rot in hell for what he has done tonight. All of a sudden, Martell’s tears turn to a hug smile and we can’t believe what we see. Sullivan, Satanic face paint and all, and Sheri Martel are KISSING in the ring. Ross: “Jezebel” How can Martell do this? Does she have no conscience? Does she have no heart? Does she have no soul? She has just made a deal with the devil and now she has to live with it. The fans are in shock. While they did not root for Gilbert in the beginning, the action of Sullivan and The Army of Darkness have made Gilbert a sympathetic figure. All of a sudden Tommy Rich, JYD and The Fabulous hit the ring. This time they catch Sullivan and his gang and the war is on! Jim Ross says “sorry folks, we are out of time. We will have to get to the bottom of this next week. So long from Shreveport, Louisiana.

Sorry for the confusion but my vacation gave me time to do a little research: 1. Billy Two Eagles actually pretty much retired in 1977 and I am dropping him from my jobber pack. I will move Roger Kirby into that jobber spot. 2. Joe Salvaldi is being released into free agency and Johnny Mantell in moving into that jober pact. 3. Mad Dog Boyd (Lee Earl Boyd) was actually wrestling in the CWA in 1984 and I will add him to my regular roster. 4. Jonathan Boyd, suffering from a legit broken leg in 1984 was managing the Sheepherders in 1984 and I will add him to my regular roster and he will serve in this role. If you need any sources for my information, I will send them.

Great card and you have done a wonderful job building your roster to make it WWF worthy. It is time for the real Russians (Ivan + Nikita) to step up and see what the Briscos are made of. I also like how Hogan did not just step in a become champ on day one.
-
This is as real as it gets. You hype up all the feuds and upcoming events while not giving too much away for free. Your announcers carry the show just as they did in real life WWF 1984. Great work!
-
Another good round of shows. Still can't wait to see who the masked cowboys are.
-
Love the history guys.
-
Loved the great card. It is always fun to see titles change hands and for feuds to go up a level or two in heat and that is exactly what happens here. Just a question, was the AWA big in Canada?
-
Love the whole promotion and again the heels rule the day. Some great feuds building here. I wonder where the Billy Robinson turn leaves Backlund? Who were the masked Cowboys? Can Frenchy and Eddie Creatchman be stopped? Can't wait to see where this all goes. Was the Forum the main venue for this promotion or was there something similar in Qubec City?
-
Sorry to see you go. Loved your roster and what you did with it
-
I must say that I am really getting into this promotion. Your are doing great work focusing on three or four major angles and throw in the French flavor and I feel like I am in Quebec in the 1980's. I was in Montreal a bunch of times in the early 90's and felt like it was Montreal vs the World and your promotion, especially the Rougues and Dino Bravo give off that same feel. You have really captured the culture of your promotion and that it what wrestling is all about. Wrestling is current events on stage and you got it going in the right direction.
