  1. My thing with the Satanist Named Buddy is the contrast. I find it funny that you have MALAKAI BLACK, BRODY KING, and Buddy! I must say, though, Sullivan cutting promos on the beach saying all kinds of weird shit or shaving Luna's head was more unsettling than most other gimmicks of that kind. Dunno if it's the grainy footage that we have access to, but that shit always looked weird. I mean in WWE he kinda was named after Aleister Crowley, so... But then again, aesthetically-wise, they are basically Gaahl, from Gorgoroth, explaining what is the main ideology behind the band.
  2. Truth's heel turn in 2011 was good tbh. On the other hand he may be one of the few actually funny wrestlers around, so...
  3. Is it? I guess the WHC match is toast, but other than that I don't think there is too much to worry about.
  4. WWE sending some of their NXT talent to TNA would be some good stuff. Could they do more, like sending their big guns? Yeah, but considering they have a busier schedule, it's way more unlikely than what AEW did by sending Omega there.
  5. Considering he was using way more "serious" ring gear in NXT after his heel turn, him appearing with colorful 90s gear is good news.
  6. I'm not sure if this is completely true, to be very honest. There was this one case about João de Deus, a psychic medium who even appeared on Oprah and had consultations with Bill Clinton during his tenure as president. He was in touch with many important names in the political and entertainment spheres He, to the public eye, was a very popular and amicable guru, but then more and more accusations came forward, and everyone was shocked. He had a whopping SIX HUNDRED sexual abuse accusations against him, from 1986 to 2017. Point being is that while *someone* had to know, many people in this kind of position have more than enough means to silence and shut down anything negative about them for a long, long time. The manipulation of the flow of information, who gets to know what, things like that. In Vince's case, based on the files we have access to, we know there was an inner circle of high-ups, executives and at least one wrestler who knew what was up, but considering how many people, men and women, use the words "father figure" to describe Vince, it's also very much likely that he could just cultivate and portray a much more sympathetic persona. And this is also important: if those powerful people manage to keep that "cleaner" public image, then surely people would take a liking to them. If people like them, they will defend them against any sort of accusation, regardless of their weight and veracity. João de Deus, going back to the example I gave, was BELOVED by millions and millions of people, seen as someone who could do no wrong. Shit, the name he used means "John of God." If victims are immediatly shot down by blind followers or direct action from their tormentors, how can they be heard?
  7. Malakai Black and the Satanist Named Buddy can hit the rocks. Brody and Julia are clearly the most important parts of that act and have outgrown the group for quite a while now. Really now. KING is cool as fuck, beats the shit outta people, isn't afraid to lose when necessary. He really should've gotten a title run by now but is straddled with those fucking clowns. Set my man free please.
  8. Jey is still super fucking over.
  9. Him saying he's more important than Roman and his title is more relevant is cute. Gotta be more important than the IC title and Gunther first, pal.
  10. Babyface Miz making the save (or trying to) and the crowd going nuts. This is how I win.
  11. Drew vs Punk at WM 41 sounds alright
  12. Drew is a top class hater.
  13. Cara Machucado Punk tore his right tricep. He is cooked.
  14. My work-a-meter is tingling.
  15. Andrade is a weird case. I never felt he really fit in WWE or AEW. Great wrestler, but other than some of those goddamn pimping attires he sometimes wear, I never saw any flair in him, pun not intended, even when he's just beating the shit out of someone. Like, I think he's better than Escobar in the ring, but Santos is waaaaaaay more charismatic even without taking the English speaking skills into account. Good for him that he can be closer to Charlotte now, tho.
  16. There was this one Rumble, I believe either 2023 or 2022, in which he tried but failed. Then he went on Xwitter to say "I'm washed lol" essentially. I just don't think we'll get that from him anymore.
  17. Seth and Punk. Together. Forever.
  18. Based on footage of him lamenting his elimination, it looks like it was something related to his right arm, possibly his elbow or triceps again.
  19. Purdy becoming Mahomes Jr. in the second half was funny and tragic. Goff was hitting everything and his receivers suddenly have rocks for hands, while Brock gets a great reception bonking the ball over the defender's head.
  20. Bron breakking fools would be a good thing to heat him up. He already looked like a million bucks in the rumble.
  21. Without even getting into things like multiple segments involving people getting their faces shoved in his bare ass, he feuded with God and was out there saying the n-word on TV just because he could.
  22. What boggles me is that even some of the shoot-style guys like Tamura, Takada, Funaki, Volk Han et al had colorful attires, not to mention the Four Pillars (plus Akiyama) in AJPW. John Cena himself, even when in his Marine era, had some flavor to his attires, and he wore JORTS.
  23. I just don't see him doing more than one match. If he becomes an on-screen figure to build towards that match, sure, he can hang around, but he was gassed just by cutting a promo.
  24. The Rock talked all that shit about sitting at the head of the table just to foreshadow his place at the board. Carny.
  25. Also, if this means The Rock is out, I will laugh super fucking hard
