  1. Unless SD ignites a Zayn/Nakamura or Owens/Nakamura feud, it's gonna be hard for them to keep shit interesting on a weekly basis. Maybe Strowman? Dunno.
  2. Well, fuck. Miz on Raw fucks SD over good.
  3. YES to Shibata/Okada. Shibata gives his all against the champion, makes him look like a bitch, but Okada's perseverance was even bigger than the challenger's anger and stiff shots.
  4. I'd argue that Khali was way more mobile from bell to bell in that match against Cena than Undertaker was at Wrestlemania and that is fucking scary.
  5. It's a bit of a sick notion, but if that was his last ever match, I would consider it quite the story. "Ultra badass shootstyle wrestler gives his all in the most important match he's ever had, loses and ends his career in the process."
  6. I'm hoping Charlotte goes to SD. Would love a Naomi/Charlotte feud, really. AJ going to RAW opens up so many great possibilities. Imagine him bouncing around against BRAUN?
  7. I agree with Jetlag's point about Okada absorbing everything Shibata threw at him (including some of the nastiest suplexes I've seen recently). Okada was already outmatched in terms of striking and matwork by MiSu in his last title defense, and to see they went for a similar story here was actually surprising. However, whereas MiSu was a more cynical individual who was pretty much toying with Okada until his big comeback, Shibata is angrier, and he also made Okada indulge into his Shibata-isms. I do have some issues with this match though. Okada's offense was almost laughably bad at points - his elbow drop looked awful, and the first proper Rainmaker was curiously the worst of the match as well, not to mention him trying to be as aggressive as Shibata, while a nice idea and a good story, just didn't come off that good. It could be justified that he had shitty lariats due to armwork, but then again he did connect with quite a few hard hitting ones to seal the victory. Also, the first portion of the match, while having the purpose of establishing that Shibata was superior, felt needlessly long. **** 1/4 feels about right. Worried about Shibata though. Years of ridiculous and unnecessary headbutts are on the verge of ending his career.
  8. The fuck was that finish to the main event? Could Bray be the most overrated and inconsistent character they have on TV?
  9. Well that is one match I never thought I wanted until now
  10. Frankly great match. One of Alexa's finest and Naomi's offense is usually very exciting, even when she isn't flying around.
  11. Rowan's mask was so absurd it was awesome. If this House of Horrors match is a complete clusterfuck, then it might be actually great. Wyatt's best matches involve either weapons and this one shouldn't be different.
  12. Audible boos for Orton. I blame more that horrible match than the actual outcome, this time.
  13. Got around watching the main event. Rollins is just the dirt worst: it's one thing that he sells the knee during the whole match, but basically every single move he did in the match was based on the bad knee, so why even bother? Also, no joke: the opening segment might be one of my all time favorites.
  14. Rollins doesn't have a singles match nearly as good as Ziggler/ADR with the double turn so it's an easy win for Dolph here.
  15. I hope this doesn't mean we are getting Enzo and Cass on SD
  16. Welp. A Rollins/Balor tag team is coming up right now isn't it?
  17. Audible boos for the idea of Rollins vs Brock. Good. Fuck Seth.
  18. I feel like Cesaro & Sheamus, at least, will probably end up on Smackdown. Possibly New Day too. Honestly the SD tag division would probably be just fine if just Cesaro & Sheamus go over there. You could get a ton of mileage out of switching around the pairings between the 3 teams of them, Usos & American Alpha. True. At Survivor Series those few minutes the Usos had against Sheamus and Cesaro were some high quality stuff. Hopefully, if they make the jump, they get more time against each other. Also, with the Revival being on Raw, what does that mean for the NXT tag division? TM61 is missing due to obvious reasons, so other than AOP and DIY, what other tag team do they have?
  19. Welp. SD's tag team division looks really shitty now.
  20. Vince is still the goddamn master at crowd control.
  21. What the fuck is that crowd reacting for
  22. Fuck that Owl chants. 2017, man.
  23. His gesturing of the crowd being in the palm of his hand is pure greatness.
  24. I thought it was a fine opener and the crowd was very much into it, which probably indicates that this was the best possible pairing for a Wrestlemania match. The match itself felt "safe" in the sense that they were not going all balls to the wall with their spots, yet still managed to give the crowd enough action to keep them entertained. Neville's rope rebound german suplex is probably the most dangerous move in the company right now, both in a good and bad way. His heelish persona is also very good, as even though he is a grade A badass in his division, he's not above doing underhanded tactics to have the advantage.
  25. Reigns is the best ex Shield by by many miles that's for sure. I would still say Ambrose. He just isn't protected like the other two. Ambrose is so patchy though. When he's really trying and being booked as the right type of character he's good and he gets over well but way too often he's in goof mode and works matches like he doesn't give a shit. Some of his performances can be almost embarrassing tbh. Case in point: last night's IC title match. It wasn't only a bad performance by him, but it seemed like he intended to put on a bad showing. After bitching on SCSA's podcast about pitching ideas to Lesnar and he not giving a fuck, surely he looks even worse by putting on a very lazy performance. Reigns, even when he is in a dire situation like his match against Taker, or being punished like his losing streak after his suspension, will always put on a very good effort and usually is the better performer in his match.
