I've seen the Usos deliver good to great matches on TV and PPV since at least 2013. What they were lacking for a while, I'd say since late 2015 until their heel turn, was a shakeup in their character, as they grew to be pretty bland faces. Now that they have some edge to their characters, they got not only regularly very good matches, but also get some pretty damn good promos. Out of all the tags in this decade, the Usos at at the very least Top 3.

I'm betting on a Triple Threat, to be honest. They won't have Cena nor Shinsuke jobbing clean. Besides, being a 3-way it makes interference almost a given and the possibility of Nakamura giving Khali a Kinshasa is too incredible not to consider.
-
It's a bit jarring seeing how absurdly good the RAW main event scene is and then going back to SmackDown.
-
I think it's safe to say that his 2017 has been pretty poor. Outside the Roman PPV matches and the post-shakeup Jericho match, there has been nothing really noteworthy. He just isn't having compelling matches, even against guys like AJ Styles.
-
I'm not fluent in hindi/punjabi but I'm sure that the indian broadcast team doesn't treat Jinder like a heel, at least it doesn't seem to be the case when they interview him.
-
Wait, are you shitting on Khali getting a massive pop? Of course not! I loved that he got that big of a reaction.
-
Pre show and tag matches were fucking great. Also Jinder is a solid wrestler that can have very good matches depending on who he's facing - he's had a better match with AJ Styles than smark favorite Kevin Owens. And Khali still gets a MASSIVE pop. In 2017. God save WWE.

Nakamura is coasting ever since his Dallas match against Zayn. After that lackluster NXT run it shouldn't come off as a surprise that he's putting almost minimal effort in his matches.
-
Actually that was pretty good. Positively surprised.
-
TBH Dillinger/English is the best possible match for a pre show. Both are great opening acts and are over with the crowds, but it's pretty much their ceiling.
-
I'm expecting a solid, but not spectacular show. It seemed that Orton was actually very invested and gave a fuck about dropping the title to Jinder, but after the initial build and first match, all that fire diminished. I hope that with this always absurd stipulation of the Punjabi Prison, things get better. As for the rest of the card... pretty much all the results seem pretty obvious and/or non-consequential, 'cept for the 5-way (which I hope is not going the way bookies are saying it goes)

Yeah. Heavy Machinery is incredible. I wish their match against AOP got more time, because two hoss teams clashing against each other is usually great.

Some storylines have been done pretty well - Gargano vs Ciampa, Strong's story, and it seems that Itami going gradually more insane with each week might lead into something bigger. But yeah, Black and McIntyre are over because they look like a million bucks (specially the latter). Maybe an eventual confrontation is the endgame.

I think she is covering for him. Alberto is no longer a suspect in the investigation: http://www.prowrestlingsheet.com/airport-alberto-patron-not-suspect/#.WXLLGITyvIV well, I think that's it for her.

I actually felt that this was more suspenseful than Ibushi/Naito. ZSJ keeps on working the already fucked neck of Ibushi, and his counters to pretty much all of Ibushi's offese kept the crowd invested, as it really looked like Ibushi was going to tap out at anytime. However, considering the difference in striking ability and how Ibushi has the bigger bombs, once he actually gets his hands on ZSJ, he sure lays it in. Not a fan of Zack's selling. Be it an overhead chop or a kick to the chest or a german suplex, he always does the same facial expressions. However, he is very good at being a skinny cunty bully. Overall it is ***3/4 - ****

Considering how into Ruby/Ember they were, I suspect that the other two matches were at the end of a long taping session. Otherwise, it makes no sense how dead they were.
-
Actually, between Ruby/Ember, Oney/Burch and Drew/Dane, this was a very good episode of NXT.

Seems like the police is suggesting that she should be charged with battery. http://www.prowrestlingsheet.com/paige-police-suggest-charged-airport/#.WW-wGITyvIU What a fucking mess.

Yes to Braun vs Roman at GBOF. So many great moments between those two, from Roman wailing at Braun with a chair to no avail, to that slick spear into the ambulance, to a batshit insane post-match that made both guys look like absolute monsters. Great stuff.
-
I hope neither of those options, really. What I find interesting in this storyline is that while you have Gable having to fight his way up the ladder in SmackDown, Jordan is now the son of the Raw GM, and that might get him into a more prominent position really quickly. There is a very stark contrast between the two right now and it might lead into a feud into the future based on that, but we can never be sure.

[2017-07-17-NJPW-G1 Climax] Kota Ibushi vs Tetsuya Naito
KawadaSmile replied to ShittyLittleBoots's topic in July 2017
This match was scary to watch. Pretty much every single bump in this involved someone landing on their neck. One underrated aspect of Ibushi's game is how much of a cunt he can be. He was just mercilessly kicking Naito to the point where he felt like the underdog babyface selling on the mat. Thankfully the match didn't go long after that RIDICULOUS super piledriver. That 2nd Destino made me wince. **** 1/4 -
[2017-04-28-Lucha Memes] Zack Sabre Jr vs Negro Navarro
KawadaSmile replied to GOTNW's topic in April 2017
This was a good and fun exhibition match. ZSJ was completely outclassed by Navarro - who also was in better shape - and I think that kinda played a part in the final portion of the match, where Zack started getting impatient that he was being schooled by a much older guy and just couldn't keep up with him in any field. When Navarro busted out a fucking crazy looking submission, it felt not only that he wanted to end stuff right there, but also teach a lesson to Saber and put him in his place. *** 1/2- 8 replies

I think Asuka always was cocky, but I don't think she was as much of a shit like she is nowadays. It's one thing when you know you are great and can back it up in the ring like when she did against Emma, Bayley and Nia, but it's another different thing when you pretty much start interfering in others matches because you see them as below you.

Very, very surreal to have ROH be name dropped so blatantly on NXT. Those Roderick Strong promo packages are great.
