I caught some of newest WWE photo shoot which has ric and Charlotte flair on it. Ric mentions he's going to be a three time HOFer in a joking way. He then says that it'd be better to putting Larry Zbyszko in. I might be reading too much into what he said but has there ever been Heat between Flair and Larry ?

I'm doing my quarterly rewatch of this match and it still stands up to all these years later. I know the finish was a bit of a mess due to taker missing some cue or something like that. I've read the other reviews and I don't see the praise of Jerry Lawler's call on commentary, where he stopped being the "puppies" colour guy and called it using his experience doing hour long matches. I've always liked this Lawler commentary on this match.

No I wouldn't think wrestling fans are any more nostalgic than non wrestling fans. I mean all sports have a certain amount of nostalgia attached to them depending on what significance you place on it. I've no issue really with Hogan being reinstated to the HOF. But outside of that I've no desire to see him on wwe TV or on a redemption piece on the network thanks. I mean even if you are the most ardent anti Hulk Hogan fan, you can't deny the guy's contribution to the wrestling business.

I just watched this. You wouldn't know David was only 2 months in, he was pretty good here and the post match endorsement by Race was pure class. If any Von Erich deserved to be World Champion, it was David. Yeah for a guy only a couple months in the business to be put over by one of the absolute greats in Harley race was a very nice touch.

David Von Erich is only 19 years old in his match with Harley race in 1977. Such a shame he died at such a young age.

Talking about past commentators for a second I'll never complain about most of today's commentators after listening to superstar Billy graham ramble on while making no sense other than saying brother a lot. On three man booths I've never liked them as to me a pro wrestling commentary team is a play by play and a colour guy. If you have a third guy there he gets lost. I loved heyman and JR during 2001. I know it wasn't the plan as they had probably assumed that lawler would be there, but I worked perfectly.

I don't normally watch on a PC or laptop so I don't get the dots, but funny enough I did last night and I noticed it and changed browsers in case it was that problem. I was watching the September 13th, 1998 episode of heat(which includes a Vader vs ken shamrock match) and as I say I noticed the dots missing.
