  1. JAN 26TH WTBS Studios Solie: The semi-finals are now set after a surprising first round. The matches are. David Sammartino & Johnny Rich vs. The Iron Curtain The Olympians vs. The Long Riders Solie: Our next match is already in the ring and about to start. It's Sammartino to go for his team, while Korchenko is in for the Iron Curtain. Both men a very strong and have very extensive powerlifting backgrounds. Both men try to get the upper hand with different tests of strength, but neither can overcome the other. Both men decide to tag out as Rich & Markoff try their luck. Rich is able to keep the lumbering Markoff off his game with speed and he starts to get the Russian angry, trying to figure out on how to stop him. Rich is able to keep the advantage and tags in his partner, Sammartino starts to use his strength advantage over Markoff, working on his back, trying to set him up for his backbreaker. Sammartino is in control until Markoff rakes his eyes and is able to bring the giant Korchenko in. Korchenko has Sammartino reeling as David is having trouble getting his vision , which let's Korchenko to start to use some of his power, trying to weaken the neck of Sammartino. Korchenko hits several neck breakers to Sammartino and then tags Markoff back in. Markoff has David face down on the mat and he comes down with all of his weight onto the back of the neck. Sammartino is in definite trouble and Markoff goes for the cover and gets a 2 1/2 count. Markoff picks Sammartino up of the canvas and applies a cobra clutch to the weakened neck of his opponent. Sammartino is trying to get out, but is starting to fade. Johnny Rich comes in the ring and kicks Markoff in the back and he releases the hold. Rich is escorted outside the ring and Markoff tags in Korchenko and whips Sammartino into the ropes and they hit David with a double back drop. Korchenko picks up the opposition and takes David over and starts to twist the neck of Sammartino. After several minutes of this, Markoff is tagged back in and he continues where Korchenko left off. Markoff then tags Korchenko and he then picks David up in the air. Korchenko bounces himself off the ropes and hits David with a clothesline and Sammartino crashes to the mat. Korchenko with the cover and again only gets a 2 1/2 count. Korchenko immediately picks Sammartino up again and goes for a suplex, only for David to block it, reverse it and hits his own suplex. Both wrestlers are down and Sammartino is slowly crawling to his corner. Korchenko then tries to get to David, but he manages to tag in a fresh Johnny Rich who goes after the giant Russian. Korchenko however, stops Rich in his tracks with a forearm to the chest. Korchenko gets up and grabs Rich, who then pushes Korchenko into the corner chest first. Korchenko rebounds off the corner and falls to the mat. Rich quickly climbs the ropes and dives off the top with a elbow drop, but Markoff comes in for the break up. Rich hits a kneeling Korchenko with a kneelift and Korchenko goes down again. This time, Rich waits and lets Korchenko get up to a knee and hooks Korchenko and rolls him over with a Oklahoma Roll and keeps the big Russian down for a 3 count as Sammartino knocks Markoff out of the ring. WINNER: VIA Pin fall in 18:27, David Sammartino & Johnny Rich commercial break. Solie: We have one half of the championship finals with the team of David Sammartino & Johnny Rich advancing. They will meet the winner of our next match. The Long Riders vs. The Olympians Solie: You have a team who likes to brawl vs. a team who can both brawl and wrestle. Both teams don't mind bending the rules into their favor, so this should be a very interesting encounter. Referee McGowen calls for the bell as it's the Iron Sheik to start off against Bill Irwin. Both wrestlers are looking for a way to get the upper hand, but both wrestler are really cautious as they know that a mistake could cost them the match. It's back and forth action as both teams have tagged out several times and to everyone's surprise, it's been a clean match. Roop has Bill Irwin in an arm bar, grinding his knee into his shoulder. Roop and the Sheik have the upper hand as they continue to work on the shoulder and arm of "Wild" Bill. The Sheik is rowing the boat with the right arm of Irwin. Scott Irwin sees an opening and jumps into the ring and grinds his boot on the face of the Sheik. The crowd doesn't seem to know on who to cheer for in this match and are basically booing both teams. Bill Irwin leans over and tags in his brother and Scott kick the Sheik square in the face with a size 15 boot. There is blood coming from the Sheik's mouth as a few of his teeth might've come loose. The Irwin's are starting to tag in and out, working over the lower back of the Olympian from Iran. Both brothers hits a wide range of suplexes and back breakers and are really taking control of the match. The Sheik is looking slow and can hardly move as the brothers both pick the Sheik up for a double suplex. Scott heads to the outside and pulls Roop off the ring apron and he hits the hard concrete floor. Bill sends the Sheik into the corner and runs in with a knee, doubling him up. Bill Irwin then picks the Sheik up and sets him onto the turnbuckle. Bill climbs on the ropes and picks him up to hit a giant suplex off the top rope. Bill goes for the cover as Scott has Roop on the floor and McGowen counts to 3. The Long Riders are headed to the Omni for a shot of the titles. WINNER: Via pin fall in 13:44, The Long Riders commercial break. 2. JAN 26TH WTBS Studios: ANNOUNCER: Gordon Solie REFEREES: Nick Patrick & Scrappy McGowen Solie: This week we have an action packed show as the National Tag Team Championship Tournament starts today. The rules are the same as the previous 2 tournaments, 1 fall, 20 minute time limit. Here are the first round match-ups: The Samoans ( Great Tio & Chief Tapu) vs. David Sammartino & Johnny Rich Tito Santana & Mr. Wrestling II vs. The Iron Curtain ( Chris Markoff & Korsita Korchenko) Brad Armstrong & Arn Anderson vs. The Olympians ( Bob Roop & Iron Sheik) Ole Anderson & Dick Murdoch vs. The Long Riders ( Scott & Bill Irwin) commercial break. The Samoans vs. David Sammartino & Johnny Rich Solie: Referee Patrick is in the ring and Tio & Tapu are coming into view, lead by Sivi Afi. The team of David Sammartino & Johnny Rich are ready to go and are pacing back & forth. The bell sounds and it's Rich & Tio starting off. They lock up and neither man can get an advantage. Tio leans through the middle rope as Afi is giving some instructions. Rich sees an opportunity and chargers Tio, kneeing him in the back and Tio falls out of the ring, onto Afi. Both Afi & Tio are furious, yelling and pointing at Rich, This gets Rich distracted and this allows Tapu to attack Rich from behind with several quick forearms to the back and then he tosses Rich out of the ring and to the feet of Afi & Tio. Tapu quickly gets Patrick's attention and this allows Afi & Tio to double team Rich for 10 to 15 seconds, kicking and stomping Rich as he lays on the floor. Tapu is finally heading back to his corner and Afi rolls Rich back into the ring, just as Tio climbs back in at the same time. Tio starts brutally choking Rich and starts to chop Rich in his throat 3 to 4 times before Patrick can pull Tio away. Rich is gasping for air and Tio goes back on the attack. after several tags, it's Tapu's turn to stay and to continue the damage that Tio started. Tio is on the attack, until he goes for an elbow drop and misses. This allows Rich to crawl over and make the tag to Sammartino. Sammartino is a house of fire, laying into both samoans and has Tapu on the run. After several back body drops, Sammartino hits a few back breakers and goes for the pin, but can only get a 2 count. Sammartino then picks Tapu up and puts him in the Argentina back breaker. Tapu is waving his arms and Tio comes in to make the save with a kick to the gut. Rich comes in and goes at it with Tio. All 4 wrestlers are in the ring fighting it out and Rich is now with Tapu and Sammartino is battling Tio. Rich and Sammartino try and simultaneous Irish whip, but Tio reverses it and Sammartino hits Tapu with a cross body block and lands on top of his man. Patrick counts as Sammartino hooks the leg and Rich tackles Tio. Sammartino gets the 3 count for the victory. WINNER: Via pin fall in 12:41, David Sammartino & Johnny Rich commercial break. Tito Santana & Mr. Wrestling II vs. The Iron Curtain Solie: Both teams are in the ring and the Iron Curtain attacks Santana & Wrestling II. Korchenko is beating on Santana, while Markoff is working over Wrestling II. Referee McGowen is over trying to break up Santana & Korchenko and Markoff goes into his tights and loads his elbow pad with something metallic. Markoff starts to repeatedly hit Wrestling II in the head with his elbow, while Santana and Korchenko are still entangled on the opposite side of the ring. Markoff whips Wrestling II into the ropes and lands an elbow right on the top of Wrestling II's skull. Wrestling is down and the crimson mask has appeared under the mask of Wrestling II. McGowen finally is able to break up Tito & Korchenko and he sees Wrestling II down in a heap. Markoff is just continuously smashing his elbow into the head of the masked man. Markoff looks over in his corner to see the big Korchenko and tags him in. Korchenko continues the beating with several slams & suplexes. The Russians then tag again and Markoff climbs the ropes to the top. Korchenko has a modified bearhug on Wrestling II, with Wrestling II's head towards the turnbuckle. Markoff decides to jump and hits Wrestling II in the head with his loaded elbow. II hits the canvas and as Markoff goes for the cover, Korchenko heads Santana off at the pass. McGowen hits the mat 1 time....2 times..... and then for the 3rd time. It's a shocker here in the studio as the Iron Curtain has upset Santana & Wrestling II. WINNER: Via pin fall in 3:28, The Iron Curtain. commercial break. Solie: The crowd is still stunned as one of the favorites have been knocked out in the 1st round. Our next match is in the ring and let's go to the action. Brad Armstrong & Arn Anderson vs. The Olympians ( Bob Roop & Iron Sheik) Solie: It's youth vs. experience in this one. Referee McGowen goes off the instructions and calls for the bell. It's Anderson & Roop to start off. It's a clinic of amateur wrestling with Roop getting the upper hand each time, only for Anderson to find a counter and make an escape. Roop claps his hands and offers his hand to Anderson for doing a good job. Anderson looking around, not knowing what to do, decides to extend his hand back and to the surprise off all, it's a clean handshake. Both men circle each other and as Anderson moves forward, Roop gets behind Anderson and lifts him up for a takedown. Roop is on the back of Anderson, until Arn turns himself over and sends Roop off of him and onto the mat. Anderson is up on his feet, as Roop is on one knee shaking his head. Roop stands up and offers his hand again and as Anderson starts to reach forward, Roop nails Arn, taking his breathe away with a quite vicious knee to the stomach. Roop hits several axe handles to the back and sends him into the corner and tags in the Iron Sheik. Sheik goes to work hitting Anderson with a trio of beautiful high angle German suplexes and goes for the cover, but only gets a soft 2 count. Sheik lets Anderson get to his feet and puts himself into position to apply a abdominal stretch on his foe. Sheik is cranking away and digging his elbow into Anderson's side. Brad Armstrong is encouraging his partner to get out, but is struggling just to keep from falling over. Anderson has now been in this hold for 3 minutes or so and the Sheik decides to release the hold and whips him into his corner. Sheik follows Arn in and tags in Roop who is continuing the attack on the torso of Anderson. Roop hits several side suplexes and goes for the cover, only to get a 2 count. Roop looks frustrated and starts to kicking Anderson in his ribs. Anderson is in trouble and Roop is starting to smell the blood in the water. Roop slams Anderson and then climbs to the middle rope, waiting for Anderson to get to his feet. Arn finally makes it and Roop jumps off, om to get a punch in the stomach. Roop is on the mat as Anderson is wobbly heading towards Armstrong. Anderson looks back to see where Roop is and is able to tag in Armstrong. Armstrong throws a bunch of dropkicks to Roop and he is able to take in the Iron Sheik. The Sheik isn't fairing much better as Armstrong's speed is keeping the Sheik off balance. Armstrong is able to get a few 2 counts as the crowd is firmly behind him. After one cover, Armstrong is able to side step a charging Sheik and uses his momentum to push Sheik into the ropes for a roll-up. McGowen starts to count and gets to 2, until Roop breaks things up. Anderson charges Roop , but the veteran pushes Anderson into the corner and he hits the steel post, shoulder first. Anderson is down on the mat as McGowen goes to check on him. This allows Roop to attack Armstrong and Roop and the Sheik grab Armstrong by the hair and send him shoulder first into the post. McGowen sees Roop in the ring and yells at him to get out of the ring. Roop does and the Sheik grabs the injured Armstrong and quickly tags Roop back in. Roop scoops Brad up and puts him on his shoulder with ease. He walks around for a bit and quickly drops to his knee, hitting a powerful shoulder breaker. Roop goes for the cover and McGowen gets a 3 count. WINNER: Via pin fall in 16:50, The Olympians) commercial break. Solie: The last match as a great back and forth affair, but the experience came out on top. The final 1st round match should be an all out brawl and it has already started! Ole Anderson & Dick Murdoch vs. The Long Riders Solie: All 4 men are in the ring hitting one another with everything they got. It's Murdoch paired off with Scott Irwin standing toe to toe on one side, while Anderson & Bill Irwin are rolling around on the canvas. Referee Patrick is trying to get control, calling for the bell and then he starts to count. Anderson follows Bill Irwin to the outside, so by default, Murdoch & Scott Irwin are the legal men. Murdoch & S. Irwin are just going tooth and nail in the ring, as Anderson & Bill Irwin finally break-up their own battle and get back to their respective corners. Murdoch & S. Irwin are just throwing haymakers, while Patrick is trying to no avail, to get them to at least, use an open hand. Murdoch reaches over for the tag and Anderson goes on the attack on the bigger of the Irwin brothers. Ole grabs Scott and puts him in a hammerlock to take him to the mat. Ole starts to do the old Anderson trademark of working the arm, trying to soften up the arm of the stronger Irwin. Anderson & Murdoch tag in and out, working on the right arm of Scott Irwin. By the way they are moving, it looks like they have been teaming together for 10 years. While having Irwin in a hammerlock, Anderson scoops arm Scott and slams him hard on his arm. Murdoch is in the corner hooting and hollering, wanting to tag back in. Now it's Murdoch scooping Irwin up and slamming him on the arm. Murdoch and Anderson tag in and out for it seems 10 minutes, just slamming Irwin on his arm. Ole goes for the pin, only for "Wild" Bill to break it up. Ole grabs "Hog" Irwin and tags Murdoch, who climbs the middle rope and comes down on the injured arm of Irwin with a double axe handle. Murdoch tags Ole back in and Ole does the same thing. Irwin is down on the mat and Ole starts to crank the arm once again with a painful looking armbar. Ole has his full weight hovering over Irwin, putting that extra pressure on that injured arm. Bill Irwin decides to come in with a solid boot to the back of Ole's head. Anderson is down and Bill Irwin is told to get out of the ring. commercial break. Solie: Bill Irwin is working over Ole Anderson after getting the tag during the break. Irwin is pounding Ole all over his body with his arms and legs. Ole looks tired and in trouble as "Wild" Bill is fully in command. Bill drags Ole over to his brother Scott, who tags back in to get some revenge. Murdoch is getting restless on the outside and tries to break things up, but Nick Patrick goes over to keep Murdoch out. This also allows the Irwin's to do some double teaming and to keep the pressure on Ole. The Irwin's hit several double team moves, but can only get a count of 2. Murdoch has had enough and goes in again trying to get at one of the Irwin's. Murdoch manages to get to Scott and gets a few punches in, while Patrick tries to get Murdoch to the outside. Murdoch shoves Patrick away and he falls to the mat. Murdoch is on the attack after Bill now and Patrick goes back over to Murdoch, who this time hits Patrick with an elbow to the jaw. Patrick is down and finally calls for the bell. After another 90 seconds or so, Patrick manages to get both teams separated and goes over to the Irwin's and raises their arms up for the victory. WINNER: Via DQ, The Long Riders in 11:26 commercial break.
  3. Yuck, Abyss should fall into the Abyss.
  4. Guess who's winning the Royal Rumble.
  5. I never knew that KUSHIDA wrestled in OVW.
  6. Got it to work, thank you.
  7. Hopefully RAW will get better soon...….
  8. Thanks to everyone for all the kind words. This TV taping was so to write as I started, but once I got going, it only took me 40 minutes as each match unfolded in my mind as I was typing. The Tag Team Tournament will be fun and I wish that I didn't have to wait until next Saturday. I'm curious on how Random.org will spit out the match-ups. For those who might or might not know, I'm also in the 2019 project as NJPW and I will start that on the 28th.
  9. Question, is that all the free agents available? There has to be more then those 33 wrestlers. Also, Superstars of the Superstation would like to add Al Perez to their roster.
  10. The only thing I would change is that I would have at the end of each match on who won.
  11. Hopefully the end game is Suzuki vs. Suzuki for me.
  12. JAN 19TH WTBS STUDIOS: Soile: The 1st round is in the books as we had a Lanny Poffo finally able to break down Les Thornton enough to get the victory. The Semi-finals look like this. Sivi Afi vs. Bugsy McGraw "Mean" Mike Miller vs. Lanny Poffo Sivi Afi vs. Bugsy McGraw Solie: We are ready to get things going as Referee Patrick gives his final instructions to Afi & McGraw. It my surprise, Afi doesn't have his Samoans out here for encouragement. I guess doesn't feel the need that he needs their support in this one. McGraw had an quick, short match against Mike Sharpe, but this one won't be as easy. The bell rings and it's McGraw and his very unorthodox offense and movements which are causing Afi some confusion and hesitation on what to do. McGraw is a veteran of the mat wars for over a decade and knows every trick in the book. McGraw is continuing to frustrate the Samoan and Afi climbs to the outside. McGraw decides to chase after him and this is a mistake as Afi's quickness is too much for Bugsy and he catches McGraw with several elbows to McGraw's neck as he tries to re-enter the ring. Afi attacks McGraw with Elbows and Knees to the fallen McGraw trying to soften him up. Afi is in full control as McGraw appears to have run out of gas. Afi has McGraw in the center of the ring and bounces off the ropes 4 different times with various knees and forearms and covering his opposition, only to get a long 2 count at the most. Afi decides to change course a bit and starts to work on the mid-section of McGraw. Afi is attacking the torso of Bugsy using everything from headbutts to knees. Everytime Afi thinks he has him softened up enough, he goes for the cover, but only manages a 2 count each time. Afi actually grabs McGraw by his beard to pick him up and whips McGraw into the ropes and hits a dropkick right in the stomach of McGraw. Afi covers him and Patrick counts 1...2.., kick out at 2 1/2! Afi is looking stunned as his legs are his most powerful weapon. Afi then grabs McGraw and delivers 3 quick bodyslams. Instead of covering his man, Afi decides to pick McGraw up once again, his time for a German suplex. Afi gets up slowly and climbs to the top of the ropes and stands on the top turnbuckle. McGraw looking dazed & confused is wondering around aimlessly. McGraw finally turns around towards Afi, and Afi leaps feet first for a dropkick. McGraw somehow has the sense to move to the side and Afi hands hard to the canvas. Afi is rolling around the mat and McGraw comes off the ropes and hits and devastating body splash. He hooks the far leg and Patrick counts to 3. WINNER: Via pinfall in 14:11, Bugsy McGraw commercial break. Solie: That was a fantastic show of determination by both men. The Unpredictable" Bugsy McGraw is going to the finals of the TV tournament. Up next is Lanny Poffo and "Mean" Mike Miller. Poffo had a hard fought victory over Les Thornton, while Miller decimated young Terry Daniels, possibly injuring his leg of knee in the process. Let's go to the ring. "Mean" Mike Miller vs. Lanny Poffo Solie: The crowd in the studio is really giving Miller a tongue lashing for his treatment in the last match to Terry Daniels. Poffo still appears to be tired after having a back and forth affair against the very tough former Lt. Heavyweight champion, Les Thornton. Scrappy McGowen gives his final instructions and calls for the bell. Poffo backs up into a corner, keeping both eyes on Miller, who attacked his opponent before the bell in his last match. Miller is talking trash to the crowd and towards Poffo, telling them that he will suffer the same fate as Terry Daniels. The crowd is chanting , "Poffo, Poffo" and Poffo is starting to get charged up. After 3 to 4 minutes of this and a few stallings by Miller, they both lock up in a Greco-Roman Lock. Miller backs Poffo to the ropes and Scrappy calls for a clean break. Miller slowly backs up and smiles. Poffo is very cautious and not trusting Miller for one moment. Both men lock up again with this time, Miller kneeing Poffo in the stomach. Miller gets the advantage by taking Poffo over with a hip toss and goes immediately to the right leg of Poffo. Miller knows that Poffo likes to use his speed and flying maneuvers to disorient his opposition. Miller is standing upright, picking up Poffo's knee and slamming it into the canvas. Miller does this for 90 seconds or so and then transitions to a spinning toehold, ala Dory Funk Jr. Poffo is banging his arms into the mat in pain as Miller continuously applies more and more pressure to the leg and most importantly, the knee of the high flying Poffo. commercial break. Solie: Miller is still in control, working on the right leg of the 2nd generation wrestler. Miller has used the spinning toe hold for almost 7 minutes now and Poffo is weakening. Miller decides to changes things up and releases the hold, only to pick Poffo up off the canvas and to lift him up by his injured knee and smash it full force onto Miller's leg. Poffo goes down clutching his knee and Miller goes for the cover, but only gets a 2 count. Miller smiling, jumps up and delivers several knee drops onto the injured leg of Poffo. He covers again and this time he gets a 2 1/2 count. This time, Miller changes things up once again and grabs Poffo's legs trying to get them in position for a Texas Cloverleaf. After 45 seconds or so, Miller gets Poffo into where he needs him and flips him over. Miller is able to leaning back farther and farther, putting more pressure onto the legs and now lower back of Poffo. The crowd is starting to yell for Poffo, but Poffo appears to be out of energy. After seeing that Poffo won't give up, Miller then releases Poffo from the hold, only to start another spinning toe hold. However, this time Miller stops and grabs Poffo's other leg and sits down for the figure four leglock. Poffo is screaming just like Daniels did the previous match and McGowen asks Poffo if he wants to give up. Poffo says no, but the pain in Poffo's face is slowing that this is starting to become unbearable. Poffo's shoulders are flat on the mat and Miller yells at the ref to count them down. He count 1..2.. 2 3/4 and Poffo rolls his left shoulder up. Seeing this, Miller is able to grab the middle rope for extra pressure, as referee McGowen is looking at Poffo's shoulder's. Poffo is flat on his back and McGowen counts, 1....2....3.. and the match is over. Poffo passed out for the pain and McGowen starts to count to 5 for Miller to release the hold. Scrappy gets to 4 and Miller finally releases Poffo from this torture. WINNER: Via Knockout in 16:39, "Mean" Mike Miller commercial break. Solie: We have 2 final competitors now as Bugsy McGraw will face "Mean" Mike Miller in the finals for the TV Title. Miller is living up to his nickname and has won both matches by having his opponent pass out from the pain of his leg locks. Can the veteran McGraw cook something up and pull off the victory? Find out at the Omni on February 2nd. As Freddie Miller likes to say, BE THERE!!
  13. JAN 19th WTBS STUDIOS: ANNOUNCER: GORDON SOLIE REFERES: NICK PATRICK & SCAPPY McGOWEN SOLIE: Welcome to another week of the Superstars of the Superstation! This week will be the Superstars of the Superstation TV Title. The rules are the following. 1 Fall, 20 minutes Count out is at 10. Here are the 1st round match-ups. Joe Lightfoot vs. Sivi Afi "Iron" Mike Sharpe vs. Bugsy McGraw "Mean" Mike Miller vs. Terry Daniels Lanny Poffo vs. Les Thornton commercial break. Joe Lightfoot vs. Sivi Afi SOLIE: Lightfoot is already in the ring and here comes Afi, lead by his charges the Great Tio & Chief Tapu. The fans appear to be behind Lightfoot as referee McGowen tells the Samoans that they need to get out of the ring. McGowen rings the bell and Afi charges Lightfoot, who seems a bit unprepared for the quick start of this match. Afi is laying in the chops to the chest & head of Lightfoot and is really dominating the action. Afi has Lightfoot on the ropes and Lightfoot seems to have no answer for Afi. Afi sends Lightfoot into the ropes and sets for a back body drop, but Afi telegraphs it too early and Lightfoot counters with a knee lift to the chest. Lightfoot starts to get his wits back and grabs Afi and sends him into the corner. Afi appears to be hurt and Lightfoot goes charging in, but Afi is playing possum and moves out of harms way. Lightfoot down on the canvas and Afi quickly picks up his opponent and holds him up for a really long and impressive vertical suplex. Afi jumps up and heads to the turnbuckles. Lightfoot starts to stagger to his feet, turns around, only to see Afi leap off the ropes and hits Lightfoot perfectly in the chin with a dropkick. Afi goes for the cover and doesn't even have to hook the leg as McGowen slaps the mat 3 times for the victory. WINNER: Via Pin fall in 6:17, Sivi Afi. commercial break. SOLIE: Both competitors are already up in the ring as referee Patrick goes over the instructions to both Mike Sharpe & Bugsy McGraw. Patrick calls for the bell and we are underway. McGraw turns his back to Sharpe and this gives the man from Hamilton Ontario Canada a opportunity to charge McGraw. McGraw however, sensing that this is about to happen, side steps Sharpe, who bounces off the ropes and falls to the mat. McGraw jumps on top of Sharpe and rolls him up with an inside cradle for the 3 count! WINNER: Via Pin fall in 28 seconds, Bugsy McGraw commercial break. "Mean" Mike Miller vs. Terry Daniels SOLIE: After that lightning fast match, referee Patrick stays in the ring as we are waiting for our next 2 opponents. First out is Terry Daniels and the young marine climbs into the ring. Out comes Mike Miller from the Pacific Northwest. Miller had held quite a few titles up there and should give the young Daniels are difficult time. Before the bell can ring, Miller attacks Daniels and goes after his left leg. Miller stomps the left leg of Daniels and puts various leg bars and knees to the leg of the young marine. Patrick called for the bell and we are under way. Miller is all over Daniels, turning and almost trying to screw off the left leg and take it back to Oregon. Nick Patrick finally is able to move Miller to the side and to check on the condition of Daniels. Daniels isn't about to give up and as soon as Miller sees this, he jumps off the middle rope with a well placed knee to the inside of Daniels' knee. Daniels screams out in pain as Miller turns Daniels over for a one legged Boston Crab. Daniels is struggling just to hold on and then Miller switches positions and puts the finishing touches on an Indian Deathlock. Daniels is howling at this point, as Miller is actually smiling and laughing at the pain Daniels is in. Patrick asks Daniels if he wants to give up, but Daniels continues to say no. Miller shifts his bodyweight around slightly and Daniels screams even louder. Daniels is flopping in one spot like a Fish needing water, until he slowly stops moving. Patrick goes to check on the young marine and calls for the bell. Daniels passed out from the pain. WINNER: Via Knockout in 7:42, "Mean" Mike Miller. commercial break. SOLIE: The officials was just able to get young Terry Daniels out of the ring and it appears as of now, that he has suffered a serious injury to either his leg of knee at the hands of Miller. Out comes Scrappy McGowen for the last 1st round match and as we wait for the participants, the big Omni show is only 2 weeks away in which the finals of the 3 tournaments to crown the new champions will be held. There will also be several other matches and just signed this morning, it will be a grudge match between Ted Dibiase and the Masked Superstar in a no Disqualification match. I see now that out next match is up in the ring. Lanny Poffo vs. Les Thornton SOLIE: This should be a nice scientific match between the 2nd generation Poffo and the former Light Heavyweight champion, Les Thornton. Poffo tries to shake hands with Thornton, who declines the jester. Both wrestlers are showing off their amateur wrestling skills in this one as neither man can get the advantage. After one particular exchange of chain wrestling, the crowd gives both men a polite applause. the first 8 to 10 minutes is all chain wrestling and neither can take advantage of the other. Finally Poffo slips behind Thornton and is able to trap him in a body scissors, trying to squeeze some air and life out of Thornton. Several times Poffo is able to roll Thornton into a Oklahoma Roll and gets several 2 counts, until he goes back to the scissors hold. Thornton, getting tired and looking desperate, is able to rake the eyes of Poffo and is able to loosen the grip on Poffo's legs. Thornton then starts to stomp on the arm of Poffo, until Poffo is able to roll out of harms way into the corner. Thornton allows Poffo to get up, in which Lanny seizes back control and shoots Les into the middle of the ring with a monkey flip. Les however gets up faster then Poffo anticipated and charges Poffo and hits him with a shoulder into his stomach. Doubled over, Poffo is able to turn this disadvantage into his favor by doing a double leg dive onto Thornton and flip over onto Les, who's trying to bridge out of this maneuver. Thronton, who spent the past 5 minutes trying to get out of Poffo's body scissors, tries several times, but just can't manage to bridge completely out. Finally Thornton's body tires and his lungs gives out as Poffo is bridging on top of Thornton as McGowen counts to 3 for the pin fall. WINNER: Via Pinfall in 18:58, Lanny Poffo. commercial break.
  14. Swagger should try his hand in NJPW or AJPW.
  15. I like using Random.org because it helps my writing skills. I have an idea on who I want as champ, but the final will be decided as I write the card.
  16. The match-ups are interesting as I did actually use Random.org for the brackets.

  18. How did you make the Twitter thingy?
  19. Interesting roster.
  20. I'm not a big Lucha fan, so I'm curious if this will sway me in a different direction.
  21. Cool, Big Willie will be a nice add to my Super Heavyweight division.
  22. I want to see Minoru vs. Hideki in the worst way. Curious on how Hikaru Sato is going to fair and I also like on how each stable has at least 3 wrestlers in it with the 6 man tag titles.
  23. NJPW wants to add Willie Mack as long as no one else wants him.
  24. Lashley wasn't bad in TNA/Impact.
