Interesting to see how fans in-universe react to developing events.

Roberts gets hit with quite the fine but I wouldn't be surprised if Rhodes paid it for him. Gonzalez with the monstrous debut. The Rockers reveal some great stipulations for their coming match with the Midnights. Slick bringing in some heavy hitters especially the mighty Zeus! Beefcake takes a little off the top before he goes to take Rude's title. Only in pro wrestling can a contract signing end with somebody getting branded! The two pairs of tag champs go the distance.

Oakland. Busick is even striking fear into his own manager. Tenryu rebuilding continues. Douglas with a flash win. The Dreamboats with a star making win. Windham is back in the Brigade. Well that issue between Cactus & Soultaker escalated quickly. San Francisco. Regal downs a tall glass of Juice. Atlas is on a rampage. The Hitman takes out Scotty. The champs go 3-3 in defenses, though the Express needed a draw to do it. Fresno. Awesome wins the big man battle. Windham seamlessly reintegrates himself into the Brigade. Severn dent the Steel Machine. The Jackal sinks his claws into the Eagle. Snow shines in singles. Austin's ego nearly loses his belt. Desert Storm is back with a strong lineup.

Great American Bash Fallout. With GAB in the books the NWA turns its focus to it's next big televised event, Bash at the Beach. The event will be held at the Trask Coliseum in Wilmington NC on August 10th. The event will serve as the beginning of the "Road to Starrcade" as the blocks for this years Starrcade Series will be announced. The new NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion Brian Christopher was came out for a promo joined by Baby Doll and her bodyguard Big John Studd. Solie asked how this arrangement came about. Baby Doll says she's the Perfect 10 and she only surrounds herself with perfection. She's got the perfect tag team in Badd Company, the perfect monster in Studd and as soon as she laid eyes on Christopher she knew he'd be the perfect face for the Jr division. Speaking of perfection, Solie says the NWA championship committee believe they've found the perfect opponent for Christopher at BatB, Too Cold Scorpio. Christopher says Scorpio can do all the fancy flips he wants, he doesn't have what it takes to knock "wrestling royalty" from his throne. We see footage showing the ending of the US title match with Fuller walking away. It's announced that Kevin Von Erich has been granted a rematch and this time, the "champion's advantage" will be waved meaning the title can change hands on disqualification or countout. Next week will see the "coronation" of Buddy Landel as NWA World Heavyweight Champion.

Portland. A hint of friction between Busick and Cornette. Douglas is getting back into the swing of things. A distracted Austin still holds onto the gold. The growing union between the Southern Boys & the Blood Syndicate should be trouble but the Dreamboats aren't backing down. Scotty is starting to shine. Portland night 2. Awesome grounds the Eagle. The Brigade halts the Club's momentum. The OWC show the Blondes Terror. Cactus falls to the numbers game. Rose actually won a match....on his own! Windham takes a beating but seems to earn trust among the sceptical members of the Brigade. Steamboat fends off another Wild Thing. Eugene. Hashimoto bests the Belfast Bruiser. Tenryu expels the Demon. The DC get burned by the Phoenix. Cactus returns the favor on Soultaker, Eddie & Dean both hold onto their titles.

I always enjoy these preview shows. A little refresher adds a bit of buzz. "I'm sure the Wrestling world is eagerly awaiting this bombshell." Lol.
-
Kawaguchi and Taira both prove themselves but Paulson is the standout in the Shooto ruleset. Sayama takes the win in the main event. Fitting since this was his brainchild.
-
Well Jarrett had a tough job clearing up the mess from the TV title match but I think he did a admirable job. The Hart/Lawler+Piper feud looks to come to an end in a steel cage. Lawler's insults were brutal. I'll say this for the AAC, most of them seem genuinely eager to take the fight to the Americans. Great promo from Debeers. The Horsemen had better get on the same page because there's some heavy hitters coming for them at the Bash. The undercard is looking solid as well.

Rotundo & Hughes could have potential. Dusty is going to have to work for his match with Roberts. Sherri had to get a little wet but she helped her team pull through. Martel adds a new dimension with his mask. The Towers and the Skyscrapers finally come to blows. Haku's coronation was going great... until the faces show up. That was actually a good poem by Hennan though. Davey Boy shutting up Honky must've gotten such a pop. Love how Funk went from "let's bury the hatchet" to lighting a branding iron on fire in two segments.

Lots of fun pairing in the tag portion. All Hail King Haku! A masked man helps Rude hang on. Heenan is on top of the WWF no doubt.

The Paul Jones Army (King Kong Bundy & Ivan Koloff) w/"Number One" Paul Jones defeat "Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant & "Black Bullet" Shaska Whatley after a distraction by Jones lead to Whatley suffering the Avalanche. Why is Greg Gagne on screen? Blackblood tries to start something but Canek beats him to the punch. Los Guerreros have found their swagger. Adias steals Perez's spotlight. The Fantastic's weren't impressed with the champs bravado. Gotta admit, the Olympians pulled a clever trick. Two solid promos sell the big six man tag. Vinnie is the picture of confidence /s. Roberts and Nikita are both preparing for war. The tag team main event turns into a peir six brawl. A couple of powerful promos from the main event of WrestleRock.

Victoria. Bully bashes another boozo. The Blondes outshine the Superstars. Camp Cornette is on a role tonight. Pillman bodies Scotty. The Dreamboats impress even in defeat. Vancouver. Soultaker brings the Payne. Cactus outfights Finlay. Blackman ko's Chono. Rhodes seems to have gotten under Dibiase's skin. The Hitman & the Beast take it too the Diamond Exchange. Cactus events the odds leading to the Wild Things going down. Kelowna. Stormfront wins the meeting of former champions. Atlas derails the Bulldozer. Furnas looks strong. I'm sure Regal enjoyed getting an Irishman to submit. Kawada evens the score against the Express. Eddie & Dean have officially switched titles.
-
The Rockers retain to start the show off right. The first King of the Ring qualifier shows how much fun the idea can be. Rick Martel is definitely worth a million bucks. Sherri bails out the Midnights. The WWF title match ends in chaos as Funk, Rhodes and Roberts all get involved. The Dream and the Macho Man are a hell of a pair but against these three villains they might need a little extra help.
-
Suzuki and Shamrock could be a pair to keep an eye on. Backlund is gaining serious momentum. A huge win for Karelin. Maeda gets a win to brighten his mood.

Both nights are gonna rock the roof of the Metrodome.
-
Hogan & Jumbo finally come to blows. Big Jim % Big Bill are ready to get their hand on Vinnie. Burke will not be overlooked. Devastation Inc steals the six man. Grizz is looking fierce. David & Larry Z in a taped fist match? sold. Hansen picked a fight in a real Outlaw in Mulligan. Blackblood looks like a killer. Jake looks ready for war. I'm not sure I can say the same about Nikita. The Al-Stars look strong to close the night.
-
Brutas looks to cut & strut his way to a title. The Skyscrapers have a lot on their plate as they have their first physical meeting with the Twin Towers before laying out the DA. Martel is looking to show off his new prize. We could have a battle of the giants next week.
-
Kelly continues to build heat. Miss Tennessee is still Double J's best weapon. The Young Stallions buck the Long Riders. Norton earns his spot. Doom make their mark. Though I'm not sure Hawk & Animal would be impressed. Hercules and Sid both looking strong. Sarge is here to lead the war against the AAC! Sting and Henig steal the show. But who is the TV champion? Don't ya just love it when guys say "screw the match, I'm just here to beat your ass!"? Woah. The Freebirds teamed with a Von Erich, and didn't turn on him!

Great American Bash updates 1. Tommy Rich defeated Ivan Koloff after a miscommunication lead to Super Destroyer hitting Ivan with the Heritage title. Due to a pre match agreement, Tommy Rich has officially earned a shot at Super D at the Bash. 2. A four corner elimination tag match was held between the Zero Fighters, the Master Blasters, the Patriots and the Beasts of Burden with the winners challenging the Nightmares for the United States Tag Team Titles at the Bash. This bad blood between the Japanese duo and Sullivan's "crusaders" boiled over and the two teams were counted out. A double big boot to Champion sealed the deal. The Nightmares have a pair of Beasts on their trail. 3. Both of the two main feuds in the recently reinstated Junior Heavyweight division will look to be settled in Baltimore. On the main show self proclaimed "wrestling royalty" Brian Christopher will get his long demanded opportunity at the title held by Silver King. Meanwhile on the pre show Lanny Poffo and Too Cold Scorpio will face off in a match with title implications of its own.

Looks like the UWF has big things in mind for Mr Backlund. Looking forward to the first Shooto showcase.

LA. Douglas isn't backing down from the Bully. Albright gets the tainted win. The Dragon declares war on the Wild Things. SinMin and the Juice Crew show they aren't concerned. Phoenix Rising with a major win. Dragon starts with the Soultaker, Sante Barbara. The Blood Syndicate is rebuilding. Scotty with a impressive win over Pillman. The Citadel upset the Superstars. Lynn catches the Leprechaun. Gordy puts down a game Regal. Eddie is a double champion!
-
Looks like every champion has some tough challengers waiting for them.
-
GregRock? GregRock? Please let somebody beat his ass! The Rose's are accepting an open challenge. I'm surprised Miller would accept Doll's help considering his distaste for pretty boys. Morrow makes more big news by booking a losers leave match for the Tag titles. Oliver getting tuned up. Love how The Olympians are turning Sweet Dreams face. Vinnie is coming out of retirement. Yeah! Sir St Clair gets his trusty manager back. Adias is so fixated on Hogan he damn near loses his prized title. Speaking of Hogan, he returns the favor from last week. Well Jake, Nikita is awake. Hope you know what you're in for.
