Victoria. The OWC show why they aren't to be ignored. Cactus & Regal take the fight to Iron & Steel. Pillman followed the rainbow to a win. The MVC continue to tear up the tag scene. he Hitman takes out the Gentleman. Vancouver. Condrey gets some major momentum ahead of the ToL finals. Adams rebounds. Hall & Awesome take turns sending messages to the other. PR's reign looks indestructible! The Playboy takes the champ to the limit. Kelowna. The Dreamboats take down the always dangerous Southern Boys. Azul gets some shine. Things seemed to have cooled a bit between Blackman & Chono. The Blondes really pushed the Midnights. A successful weekend for Pillman. Scotty takes the low road to retain.

Orndorf & Hansen could be a real show stealer. Akbar is seriously impressed with Miller. The Rose's spoil the Gama & he Warriors' victory party. Thornton has high expectations for his Parliment. Rock n Roll are ready for war. Larry Land had to close early tonight. Loved the group promos ahead of war games. Disalvo makes the save for Canek. Hogan is ready to take down the other major Japanese star in the AWA.

Hennan is confident that his family will sweep the board at SNME. But they've got some tough competition waiting for them. Slick is ready to sick Zeus on the Bossman. The Rockers aren't afraid of a bit of Pain. What happened to Savage? Whatever or whoever it was, Macho Man fights through it until Funk arrives. Though after that miscue with Muta's myst, I don't think the Funker will be too keen on joining the Alliance.

1989 Starrcade Series week 6 results. "Walking Condominium" King Kong Bundy defeats "Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff with the Avalanche. Paul Jones stood in a neutral corner and made sure there were no hard feelings between his clients. "Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant defeats "Rugged" Ron Garvin with a inside cradle. Garvin was a good sport and shook Valiant's hand though politely declined when Valiant tried to get him to dance. "Handsome" Harley Race w/JJ Dillon defeats "Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez with a schoolboy with a handful of tights. Things were noticably chilly between Race and Dillon who made a point to keep to himself throughout the match. Starrcade Series Leaderboard. LA. Lee doesn't get paid by the hour. Iron & Steel don't appreciate the easy win the Superstars gave them. Regal wins the champ vs champ tournament match. Dibiase builds his case for a title shot. WoF get a bit of payback on the ministry. Loverboy moves on to the finals. LA night 2. The Southern Boys continue to draw out the Blondes dark side. Rhodes gets a needed win. Pillman scores another point against Adams. The MVC deal the Brigade another defeat. PR wrecks the DC's plans to bring tag gold to the Diamond Exchange. I actually saw Steamboat & Austin face off on a Clash of Champions. Great time. Santa Barbara. Awesome and Cactus both look impressive. Snow shines in defeat. Eddie & Dean take the Express to the limit in their first outing as a team. Camp Cornette is in a bit of disarray. Scotty has all the luck since becoming Light Heavyweight champ.

Grizz starts the show with a squash. Burke is ready to have fun with Sawyer. Akbar has an eye on Miller. Unfortunately he seems to have taken his eye off his men's 8 man tag. Brandi and Perez promise a nice, competitive match. The Union Jacks Pearl harbor the Fantastics. The Renegade Warriors & Brawny Boys both send strong messages to their Happening opponents. The show ends with 10 men who are ready for war!

Rhodes is lucky Bossman is committed to looking out for him because between Slick's men and Jake Roberts he's got some heavy hitters after him. September 28th is poised to be a big night for the Heenan. Savage declares war on the Dangerous Alliance but Funk isn't done with him yet leading to chaos at the show's end.

Oakland. A pair of champions advance to the semis. Lee pulls his team across the finish line. I'm sure Douglas is happy to take on Cornette's leading man in the ToL semis. Hashimoto denies the Diamond Exchange another piece of gold. San Francisco. Gordy with a dominant win. The Dreamboats are chugging along. Rose gets a win but has some issues with his boys. The all champions tag match goes the distance. Dibiase with an impressive victory and clearly has the Dragon in his sights. Fresno. Awesome didn't appreciate Iron & Steel's helping hand. Flyin' Brian grounds Eddie. Cactus returns the favor. The Express overcome the Blondes new tendency to play rough. Dutch is about to blow a gasket and Austin's little stunt with the chair surely didn't help. Scotty closes the night with a surprisingly clean title defense.

Unlike Race's previous outing, Dillon tried to assist Race by tripping Garvin as Race sent him into the ropes. Unfortunately for him, Garvin reversed the whip and Dillon ended up tripping his own man. A brief argument broke out before Race turned around into the "Hands of Stone" punch. I agree, Young & Oliver are certainly Justified in opening a can of whoopass on Vinergy. Akbar hadn't forgotten about Canek. St Clair has a tough test ahead in Colon while the Union Jacks have a chance to to earn a tag title shot. Perez vs Brandi should be a fun match to crown a new TV champ. The All Stars make a new enemy in Beefcake and gain a new member in Adias. Sammartino is looking for payback. Devastation Inc is proving a source of weekly chaos. Orton's International title is in jeopardy with Hansen as the next challenger. Stevens shocks everyone by signing Fujinami, none more so than Hogan.

Tunney looking awful suss right now. Valentine being booted from the Foundation is finally made official. Great showing by the Heenan Family. Paul E must consider his issue with Slick settled if he's picking a fight with the Macho Man. The Rockers get a chance to show off. Well the Steiner's technically won the main event.
