I think they may give the Rhodes brothers the win but they have been jobbing Goldust out a lot lately so I could see the heels going over. I need the Usos to go over the Outlaws because I am not a fan of the Outlaws right now. Get off my screen. Everything else seems run of the mill and predictable. I would pleasantly surprised if I am wrong.

Just watched SD on the DVR. I thought Swagger's work on DB's arm was great but the ending came out of nowhere and made Swagger look like a jobber. It's amazing how a little tape can make a match much more compelling (see 6/9/95). The Cesaro attack on the arm was even sweeter with the corner attacks, the shoulder breaker, kicking DB off the apron. I have a sinking feeling that the plan will remain the same and by the time they get to Mania, Bryan will be right where he is now... fighting Kane and HHH. Bummed they are positioning Goldust into jobber mode. I still don't get the appeal of Emma. Ziggler vs. Titus was nothing special but it wasn't built to be. WWE really missed the boat when the crowd was amped for Titus vs. Reigns. When did the Usos start dancing after their matches? Also, the Outlaws have overstayed their welcome. Back to the shadows for these guys. Christian vs. Sheamus was solid. Again, another match where the arm was the focus. I don't know if they should have had the same story in two different matches on one show but these guys are pretty damn good so it worked. Once they hit that stretch run, the crowd was hooked. I really wished they would have given Christian the win so he could have some momentum going into the Chamber but no complaints.

I am pretty amped up for this show. I don't know if it will be a particularly great show from an in-ring perspective but I think it will answer so many questions on if they changed any plans for Wrestlemania. So, before the show starts proper... do they stay to the original plan or do they listen to the fans and shoot DB to the moon? Here is the card... Parv.... from your slides, what do you expect your students to know coming in? I have gone over them about 3 times now and have come to the conclusion that I am familiar with about 10% of the topics/images. For a minute, I thought I was familiar with "Look Back In Anger" then I realized I just knew the David Bowie song. I could probably spend a couple of hours looking up the subject matter on your slides and get an idea of how they are connected but at this point, I have no idea.

This is actually the problem with the entire MLW podcast system as a whole with Cornette in the mix. There isn't one person there (Bauer, Alice, MSL, Konnan) that can hang with Cornette when it comes to wrestling history. I enjoy the Konnan show because Konnan cracks me up and I love hearing inside dirt on WCW and TNA. I enjoy Cornette interviewing guys like Jim Ross and Bill Dundee because they go places that Ross and Dundee would never go if they weren't talking to Cornette. I like the shows where they talk to the WWE writers the same way i enjoyed Dave Lagana's old podcast because it gives you insight into the inner-workings of the WWE machine.
