If anyone else has anything to submit, now is the time. I am putting this together throughout the course of the day and plan to post it tonight. Some territories are getting more attention than others. Remember if you don't control your news stories, I get to control them

Hansen is in Japan on 8/20

Great matches, iconic figure, great peak, toe to toe with Casas in longevity, higher highs, signed my mask. Why don't you make an argument, Matt?
-
Santo was real cool when I met him and signed a mask I have here in the man cave. That was the tie-breaker for me. I love both of these guys.
-
Damn 10 years. It doesn't feel like that long.
-
He just misses out on my Top 100 since Idon't have a personal connection to him and I don't think his peak was Wrestler of the Year level.

Valentine v. Garvin is a really interesting comp. For great feuds what do you value more the Flair v. Garvin feud or Valentine v. Tito? Valentine vs. Tito is the better feud. Garvin vs. Flair may have the better matches overall, match for match.
-
I love his two Dick Murdoch matches. I watched the Legs match the other day and it was super fun. Loved all the Chicago stuff so far. One of the best punches ever.
-
We can always do Puerto Rico-Japan. No need to stress over the pairings. I was giving more of a template than a concrete solution.
-
Gotta read that!!!

This is fine. The whole purpose is to see if somebody over the long haul can actually pull a Vince McMahon. It gets real interesting when you take over and have to run twice the towns and plays into Parv's "winning the game' theory. Can somebody actually maintain this long enough for everyone else to drop off?

I don't know how well this is going to go over but I want to throw it out there anyway... nobody saw Dylan leaving and he has his reasons but I don't think he will be the last. Sometimes, life is just oging to get the best of people. My first thought when Portland went down, was to give it to Vancouver. My first thought if ICW went down would be to give it to Memphis, etc. Would you be interested in coming up with a territory merge system where when somebody drops out, a sister territory "wins the war". So lets say Kris has Georgia... the sister territory would be Southeastern or JCP. ICW is to Memphis. WWF to Toronto. WWA to AWA, etc. So, if goc drops out of San Antonio, Fritz wins the war and Jesse Ewiak would get Southwest and merge with WCCW and vice versa. This is what I was thinking from the territories we have... Portland - Vancouver Florida - Puerto Rico Memphis - ICW Southwest - WCCW AWA - WWA Central States- Mid South Georgia - Southeastern Stampede - Montreal JCP or WWF - Maple Leaf

Me too. Plus i don't want Kido to have a .040 winning percentage on the tour.

Dangerous Alliance Wrestling Podcast #4
goodhelmet replied to Bigelow34's topic in Publications and Podcasts
Gingears, if you look at it, each segment could be its own podcast. We could do an entire podcast series of just watching matches from the Network or Youtube. We could do an entire series on drafting from different eras. We could do a Living the Gimmick podcast. I like breaking it up in the half hour segments with the idea that eventually listeners of the show are going to have favorite segments that they look forward to when they pop up. -

I have big plans for Singh in December. I am keeping things sort of status quo right now until I can drastically alter some characters and stories. More of a slow burn right now. TOKYO 7/10/83 · Giant Baba & Jumbo Tsuruta vs. Nick Bockwinkel & Billy Robinson ended in a 30 minute draw · Ashura Hara pinned Genichiro Tenryu after a lucky enziguiri knocked Tenryu out · Tiger Jeet Singh & Umanoseke Ueda defeated Jerry Oates & Gerry Morrow when Singh pinned Oates · Terry Funk pinned Akio Sato in a short match · Mighty Inoue pinned Shiro Koshinaka after a judo roll · Alexis Smirnoff knocked out Rocky Hata with a heart punch · Great Kojika vs. Gypsy Joe began as a comedy match but ended up in a double disqualification after both men used weapons in a bloody match · Yoshihiro Momota & Mitsuo Momota defeated Hiromichi Fuyuki & Nobuyoshi Sugawara when Yoshihiro pinned Fuyuki after a shoulder breaker · Mitsuharu Misawa pinned Toshiaki Kawada after hitting a big splash from the top rope

This is why I just wanted it to merge with Vancouver. It is close in proximity and people are already trying to grab wrestlers, like fighting over a wishbone at Thanksgiving.
-
Fuck, I would love to see Portland and Vancouver merge. Seems like a simple solution and it feels right.
-
Wahoo is to chops what Lawler is to punches.... pure perfection.
